Kairi looked up as Via spoke, and shook her head, "Hi, Via, naaa, I need time to think, but think I need some company as well," She was thinking of her mum, she had died of kidney cancer a couple of days ago. Kairi'd been pretty good at hiding it, the only person she'd told was Chris, but sometimes it just hit her like a bludger in quidditch. She sipped her butterbeer, and fiddled with a strand of her hair.

Via sat on a chair across KAiri, "You can share that to me. I mean whatever it is that's bothering you." Eversince she met Kairi, Via was always at ease with her around. She even see KAiri more than her bestfriend and talking about her bestfriend, that had been bugging her up.

Kairi gave Via a small smile, "You really wanna know? Ok then, well..." How did she start? She didn't know how to so she said it shortly and simly, "My mum died two days ago from kidney cancer,"occ: that, i'm afraid is a true story My mum died of kidney cancer seven years ago.

Livvy burst into the Three Broomsticks, panting. She ordered a cup of water and sat down at an empty table. She glanced towards a table to see Kairi and Via. It semed as if Kairi was sad. But about what? Livvy decided not to butt in and drank her water quietly as she read a book.

Jenn still hadn't said anything, so Mariel kept quiet in fear that she was really angry with her. It wasn't all that bad was it? She was sure as soon as they all started talking that she'd get over it soon. But at that point Mariel didn't feel much like talking.

She looked up when Edie asked her a question and shrugged. That seemed to be a popular thing to ask. "Oh, Hogwarts seems ok, I guess. Some of the classes are really hard though." She wasn't really sure what else to say on the subject.

Then Biff sat down with the three of them. He was still very complimentary to Jenn, but something about it bothered her. Was he like that with all the girls he's met or just her? She was afraid he'd get Jenn's hopes up.

She sighed when he mispronounced her name again. She had already corrected him once at the lake, would it be rude if she did it again? At that point she didn't care. Muriel sounded like an old lady's name and she was definitely not an old lady. Mariel had a nice ring to it, like bells or something. Ugh, did she really think that? Mariel rolled her eyes at the thought of her own nonsense. Oh and she was pretty sure he was saying Jenn's name wrong too, although she wasn't completely sure since she never called her by her full name. Well, Jenn either didn't notice or didn't mind and Mariel didn't think it was her place to say. Although she did think she'd have a talk with Jenn about the importance of potential boyfriends getting your name right. Frowning slightly, she looked up at Biff and said, "Please, my name is pronounced Mariel, not Muriel. You're making me feel like someone's Great Aunt or something."

She tried not to be rude anyway, but that was starting to annoy her. Feeling like it was probably in her best interest to now try to be nice, she added, "But you're welcome to join us..."

Asteira came back with three butterbeers in her hands as she felt like a waitress. She was grateful she was missing the outfit. She always thought dressing up to serve people was a bit over the top. It was bad enough she had to dress on special occasions. "Here we go." she said as she moved to set one in front of Mari and the other in front of Punz. she sat down as she took a drink of her drink." Yum. I always loved this stuff." she commented as she was thinking more aloud. What? it was good. " So what are we talking about?" she asked as she figured they were still on about quidditch.

James walked in and sat at a table alone. His red eyes scanned the place.

Rachel walked into the bar, a little disorientated. As she grew accustimed to the light, she realised that she didn't know what she was doing here. She just felt like coming here, but now she felt like she was waiting for someone. Odd.
Plus, she couldn't stop thinking about that note. Who had sent it? Why had they sent it? Her head was bursting with unanswered questions.

James looked at Rachel. She was very pretty. His red eyes parkled with sharm as he smiled at her.

Rachel looked up suddenly and her vision filled with a pair of striking red eyes. She was rooted to the spot. She hadn't ever seen anything as beautiful as those eyes. Once she had gotten over the initial shock, she noticed the pale skin, handsome face and... a smile in her direction.
She smiled hesitantly in return, and made her way over to this mysterious creature. "Um, hello."

"Hello, my name is James", He said his voice was like welvet. "Would you like to sit?"

Rachel's eyes widened at the sound of his voice. It was so soft, so nice... Snap out of it!
"Thanks," she said and sat down opposite James. "My name is Rachel."

"Nice to meet you Rachel.", James said. "Can I buy you anything?"
James' crimson eyes were locked on to her beautiful eyes.

"Um, actually yes I'm pretty thirsty. Can I get a butterbeer?" she asked. "If you don't want to pay, then just tell me, it's ok," she added, just in case.
She couldn't look away from him, he was just so...

James stood up and got two butterbeers then came back. He handed her one.

"Has anyone told you that you are really beautiful?", he asked.

Rachel took the butterbeer and sipped a bit. Her head immediately felt better.
Her eyes almost popped out of their sockets at his next question. "Um... no, not really," she replied lamely. Why couldn't she think whenever she saw those red eyes? Seriously, most people would think they were scary. But they're so amazing...

James took a drink of his butterbeer. "Really? Well it is true. You are extremely beautiful" James really liked to be with Rachel and he really liked her.

"Thank you," she replied, a little more used to James' effect on her. Becoming more confident, she said, "You're not so hideous yourself, you know." She winked mischievously at him.

Livvy grabbed her bags and stood up. She saw Rachel talking with James. Uh-oh, she thought but just smiled. "Hey!" she said, waving at them.

"Thanks", he smiled.

"Hello Livvy", James said.

Rachel smiled back, and said in a soft voice, "You're welcome." She then looked at Livvy. She knew her pretty well by now so she saw the hidden look in her face. She put it away for pondering later and waved back. "Hey Livs, I didn't see you there. How are you?"

"How's your day been", James asked.

"Livvy dont worry its not like im going to murder her", James said.

Livvy smiled. "Yeah I can be pretty invisible," she said, sticking out her tongue. "I'm good, thanks," she said smiling. Awkward...

Livvy made a face. "Funny."

"I didn't mean that you were invisible," Rachel said, feeling bad.
She then looked at James. "Um, what did you just say??" Rachel asked, bewildered.

Livvy grinned and sat down. "I'm kidding..." she said, laughing. "Erm.. is it okay if I sit here. I mean... I don't want to interrupt," Livvy said, raising her eyebrow.
