Caleum gave a nod of his head towards Drago. "Sure, sure," he agreed thinking that it might be a good thing for Caleum to do the same but was soon approached by the Gryffindor male Prefect.

Caleum raised his brow as Cale spoke of an argument that arose at the Gryffindor table but then another thought crossed his mind. The smirk on his face gleamed with pride as his head turned to Cassandra, then turned back to Cale. "Sure thing, Cale," he said but then noticed Anna walking up right behind Cale.

Oh this was already starting off lovely...lovely indeed. "Just wonderful Anna," but then he tried to hide the look of a frown that was about to pop up on his face. He was not the Head of House during this term as there was already Mac who was the HoH before, he was merely a helpful one last year during the nasty splitting of the school. But at this moment, he was not about to correct the young innocent child before him...at least not in front of little Ms. Intern.

"Well, I am glad to see that you are both here and felt the need to come to me about a problem," he said as his head didn't move but his eyes shifted in the direction of Cassandra. Another sly smile emerged. "What can I help you both with on this fine day," he asked as his eyes moved back to the two Gryffindors.

Cale smirked as Anna came up and grumbled at him so that only he could hear. He turned to her and grinned, in a "Well, believe it babeh!" kind of smirk before turning back to Caleum.

It suddenly occurred to him that they were within earshot of ALL the professors of Hogwarts, which could be either good or bad. Mostly bad. What would they think when they found out what Cale and Anna were fighting about? He could just imagine Trelawney going straight to their head of house and insisting that Cale lose his badge for being a pompous jerk who wouldn't back down over a stupid argument. It would be her dream come true.

"Erm, perhaps we should go back to the table?" he asked, pointing at the Gryffindor table from over his shoulder. "We can show you the thing that started this whole argument." he added, mainly as an excuse to get them away from the table.

"Lovely to hear, sir," Anna replied, trying to be polite and well-mannered even though she felt seconds away from beheading her co-prefect. "Just lovely."

Anna glared at Cale when the professor mentioned he was glad thay both Gryffindor prefects had decided to come to him. Psh. It was actually just Cale's brainless idea to approach an entire table full of staff members. Anna was just along for the ride. A spectator of the train wreck, so to speak.

Anna smirked right back at Cale. Two could play at this game, and, unfornuately for Cale, of course, only one could win. "Back to the table it is," Anna muttered, thankful Mr. Brainless Ideas had decided to do the right thing this time. "After you," Anna said, motioning for Cale to lead the way.

Caleum nodded is head to both Prefects and stood up from his chair, placing his napkin at the table. He excused himself politely as he followed the two students to the table. "After you," he said repeating what Anna had just stated at well.

Sophie arrived fashionably late to the staff table and took a seat near one of the ends. Ok so she was way more than fashionable late, but originally she wasn't going to come to the feast. Sophie kept her eyes on the four house tables. She tried to wear a smile on her face. It was an exciting gathering for the students after all, they were back in Hogwarts.

Gwen approached the stable table, awkwardly trying to support Piper and being careful to not touch her arm too much.

"Erm, excuse me?" she began. "Piper here has had an accident. I think her arm is broken. I heard it crack when she fell."

Piper stood as quietly as she could next to Gwen, still crying but silently. She was now shaking as well, from the pain as well as from the fear of facing the staff. She went white and tried to stay conscious as she nodded.

"P..please..c..could..you..hel..p" She muttered her teeth chattering.

Caleum made his way back to the staff table after assisting Cale and Anna with a silly fight. Little did he know of the situation that happened after he left. But as he walked closer to the table, he noticed there was an extra person at the staff table. Still there were other members that were missing but this one stood out above the rest. He did a double take as his eyes set on Sophie. He smiled forcefully making his way back to his chair next to Neo and yet too close to Cassandra.

"Dear Merlin!", Clearly this girl was badly hurt. Kapoor stood and looked over towards the only healing witch at the table. "Miss Trelawney?", he began indicating the emergency with his finger towards the two young Gryffindors. "Please, I think she is severely hurt."

Antonio heard the sound of a young girl crying, she appeared to be in very great pain. He looked to see if Intern Trelawney was there, then realized that Professor Kapoor was already summoning her. "What happened?", he asked the two girls with concern, keeping his voice soft so as to not draw attention. "Don't worry, a nurse will be here to help you very soon. Everything is going to be all right." In looking at the situation he wasn't entirely certain that was true, but hoped he could keep the panic and hysteria down to a minimum level.

"Excellent! Looks like we're going to have a great game," Max said and grabbed a breadstick. "Of course we can't play until after the feast, so how does Wednesday night sound? Oh, and we need refreshments. Playing cards works up an appetite." He noticed the injured Gryffindor and was relieved that Kapoor was handling it. If it was one of his Ravenclaws, then he'd personally carry the injured party to Nurse Numel.

Piper looked up at the professor that was addressing her and her purple eyes went even wider. "I..I got my cloak s..stuck..and then I t..tried to p..pull it out and I..I..f..fell and landed on..my..my..my a..arm." She managed to get out between gritted teeth. "I..I'm s..sorry. P..please d..don't b..be m.mad." She sniffled out as she tried to stop crying. Her arm was hurting so bad.

"Mad? Now, why would anyone possibly be mad at you for that?", Dumont asked in amazement. "This was an unfortunate accident and it's a shame that it happened to you. Just try and sit quietly and the nurse will take care of you soon. Try not to move the arm if you can help it." Dumont's heart went out to this poor girl, suffering an injury here in the Great Hall at the feast. "It's going to be okay, really," he said. "Let's try and think of some happy thoughts, that might help in the meantime."

Rae had let everyone eat and prattle long enough, and she finally stood with her hand up. She was silent until the room quieted, and then she spoke up.

"Welcome back to Hogwarts, students. I know this has been a long time in coming, and I am pleased to welcome you home. I for one had quite an enjoyable day breaking the lock off the gate at the beginning of the summer, and I wish I could have shared that day with you."

"I would like to introduce the boys to our new female teachers, and the girls to our new male teachers. Please take time to visit them and introduce yourself. And now, if you are done eating, I encourage you to head up to your dorms and get a good night's sleep. Classes start soon and you'll want to be rested."

Piper actually managed to look slightly hopeful at the professor's words. "I..I do not know. I'm.. v..very s..scared." She got out as she sat down quietly and tried not to concentrate on the pain that was invading her body. She could feel her head start to spin and she tried on concentrate on happy things. "H..happy T..thoughts?" She got out through gritted teeth as she gave up trying to control the flow of tears that streamed down her face. "I..t..think H..hogwarts i..is v..very p..pretty." She got out, trying to concentrate on anything besides the pain.

She fell quiet as the Headmistress started to speak and she bit her lip he face heating up more as she realized that she was in front of everyone.

"Aw Piper, it was just an accident," Gwen said, pulling a hankie from her robes and handing it to her. "And you'll be better before you know it."

"Antonio, why don't we take her up to the Nurse ourselves? She'll be better equipped to heal her there?", Kapoor suggested seeing the injury up a bit closer and realizing that everyone would soon be leaving, including Miss Trelawney.

"Thank you for bringing her up here. Good call, young lady. 7 points.". If the young Gryffindor girl hadn't brought her up, she'd be suffering at her table and would have to make her own way towards the schools healing facility.

Antonio could see that the girl was really in a lot of pain, he hoped that Professor Kapoor would return quickly with Intern Trelawney. "It really is a pretty place, isn't it? This is the best school in all the world, it really is. There could be no more special or magical place anywhere on earth and we're all very lucky to be here." He smiled, Hogwarts really was the most magical place on earth, there could be no denying that, even though there were, of course, other wizarding schools in the world.

Antonio had been so busy assisting the girl that he was surprised that the Headmistress' speech was already finished, such a short speech but very much to the point. "The term is starting right now," he said. "The nurse's station will be open very soon and you'll be able to go there and receive proper care." He fished into the pocket of his robe, seeing if he had anything there. "Would you care for a chocolate frog?", he asked, he must have kept this from the train.

Antonio looked up again and Professor Kapoor was back. "Yes, that's an excellent suggestion!", he said brightly, relieved. "Would you like to accompany us there, Gwen - is it? The nurse's station is exactly where you should be, and you'll be right as rain in no time at all!"

Piper smiled gratefully and she nodded. "Yes actually I would." She said softly as she looked toward Gwen. "C..could y..you please c..come with m..me Gwen? Y..you are the o..nly p..person I k.know here." She got out as she looked up at the professor wondering what was going to happen to her.

"Yup, that's me," Gwen said, grinning at the professor. "You're... Professor Dumont, right?"

"Of course I'll come, Piper," she replied to her reassuringly, patting her back.

"Yes, you are correct. I'm Professor Dumont, Muggle Studies Professor," Antonio told Gwen. "This is Professor David Kapoor, Divinations Professor. Don't worry, it's all going to be fine," he said reassuringly, placing the chocolate frog into the girl's uninjured hand. She could certainly use a treat. "And thank you, Gwen, for coming with us. A good friend is hard to find."

Piper smiled gratefully at Gwen as she said she would come. "Th..thank you so much." She got out as she looked up at the professor."I..I am P,,Piper S..snow." She got out as she took the Chocolate Frog and took a small bite of it. "Thh..Thanks." She said closing her eyes as the room started to spin around her.

Ahhh! Something to break his attention from the feelings that were beginning to stir inside of him. "Wednesday sounds wonderful to me. The sooner the better," Caleum said with a sigh and making himself more comfortable in his chair.

But then the moment came when the Headmistress stood up and addressed the students. At least they were back at Hogwarts and together. Now it was time to meet new people and new staff members as well. But sleep was first, or so he thought.

"Can you make it?", Antonio asked, concerned. "Let us knkow if you don't think you can walk there on your own." This really was a serious injury, he realized, it was thankful that witches and wizards healed faster than muggles. That was the only bright light in all of this. He knew the arm would be healed in no time even if it were broken, which it seemed to be.

"Oh...it was nothing," Gwen replied, flushing slightly.

"Oh Kapoor! You're the one with the pet fwooper!"
