Anna walked into the Great Hall, a place she usually only came to in order to eat, not to search for something---let alone a clue to a treasure. She looked around and took note of the nearly empty room. She felt a little funny walking up to the Staff Table. The only and one time she'd ever done that was when she and Cale had been arguing over that Paul Kutcher guy, and they'd gone to get Professir Myers to settle the dispute. Now, looking for this treasure, Anna felt even more nervous than she had when she'd first approached it.

"I hope we don't get into trouble for being up here," Anna mumbled, thinking back to when she, Cale, and Astrid had gotten caught by Miss Trelawney and Headmistress Rae looking for the last clue. Anna shrugged the thought off, bent down and began feeling around for any sign of a clue.

"Why would you get in trouble?" Celandine piped up as she skated up behind Anna. So we look in the middle right? At... the Hogwarts crest maybe?" Cela turned around to look at the back wall.

As much as Kaika liked that it was a Huffie who came up with the whole thing, it was still Dominic. His ego can always get in the way of anything, right?

She sighed as he led the way...who did he think he was? Umm,right. Never mind. Kaika followed Anna as soon as she was the first one to go in. So, the "X". Staff table.

Her eyes took in the scene. Being the first time up there. Ha. Nice. She lost track of her thoughts for a second, before listening to what Anna said. "You're a prefect, we won't get in trouble" or so she thought.

"So, what now?" she said, shrugging. They were in there, but where to look for it, "The X stands in the middle...so, maybe that's where it is?" right, clever...because no one figured that out.

"Because," Anna said, looking over at the two girls. "The last time I went clue hunting, Miss Trelawney and Headmistress Rae walked in and nearly docked points. I'm a little shy when it comes to these clues now." She giggled a little and then got back to hunting for something---anything. It was a little silly to think she'd get in trouble for doing this. Besides, it was for the greater good, right?

"I'm not sure what we should do next," Anna replied. "I'm not even sure what we're looking for. Sure, the X is in the middle, which could be the headmistress' chair, but I'm not sure what would trigger a clue." She continued to feel around the area, hoping for something to appear soon.

Catching up with Dominic, Savannah quickly snatched the map from his hands without a word, being more gentle with it once she had it. She smiled, pleased to look at the entire map put together; It was the great hall. Obviously why they were here. More importantly, the X was in the area of the staff table. Directly down the center of the great hall, to the staff table.. where the Headmistress sat. "Hey guys," She said, not looking up from the parchment puzzle as she walked towards the headmistress' seat, only tripping once along the way which she seemed not to notice. "This might sound far fetched, but.." Vannah paused, setting the map down on the table. She went on quickly, cheeks turning slightly pink with the thought of sounding crazy over this idea. "I think the real treasure is the headmistress, herself."

Anna looked up as her co-prefect approached the table, seeming a little excited about something she'd discovered. "Actually, you know, it doesn't sound far-fetched at all," Anna replied. "The map clearly points to the headmistress' spot at the table, but it doesn't necessarily mean we have to find her at the table!" Anna stood up from her spot on the floor and brushed off her uniform. "So what now? Should we leave here for a bit and go to her office? I'm sure she'd be there if we head on up there now."

As Dominic waited for everyone to entered the Great Hall, he was caught by surprise when Cela poked her tongue out at him. Missed her? You've got to be kidding! Sighing quietly, he blinked at her awestruck exclamation about X marking the spot. Oh snap! He hadn't really thought that far into it, but when she put it that way ...

Following the others into the Hall and up to the staff table - so it appeared, Dominic was quite sure that Anna was nervous being up there. Suspicions confirmed her expressions when she said she hoped they didn't in trouble for being up there. As if that concerned him. Though as he was about to approach the others, someone - Savannah - snatched the map from his hands. "Hey!" he exclaimed suddenly, frowning at the sixth year. Honestly.

Listening to Kaika ramble out the X in the middle, Dominic instantly went around to check it out. If there really was an X, then it would be a miracle, but he doubted that. That was when Savannah spoke after studying the map she snagged from him. Tilting his head sideways at her, he frowned. "The headmistress herself?" he repeated, astonished at that comment. But that was no real treasure, was it?

She listened as Vannah spoke. The Headmistress? That's quite an interesting turn out of events. So, if it was true, and the Headmistress was nowhere to be seen..."What are we doing here, then?" it wasn't meant to be said out loud, but still...

"I mean, if you guys are right...then...well, I kind of agree with Anna..." she began to say, "...though I'm unsure about what to do about that" because what if it wasn't the Headmistress? Or what if the Headmistress was clueless about this? Or why exactly should we be looking for her in the first place.

"Yes, Dominic, the Headmistress" she nodded, still looking at both Anna and Vannah.

She had to ask..."What do you think she'll tell us if we go find her?" it was something she was wondering after all.

"Um." Cela interrupted reluctantly, "While I think that its a good idea to tell her; because she said thats how we roll; the clues have been hidden for like a bazillion years so how could it be Headmistress Rae? I know she's part of that order and all... but wouldn't she know she was the treasure?"

Anna giggled when Cela made the "That's how we roll" comment. Then she got silent and thought carefully about what the young Ravenclaw had said. "Oh....oh, yeah," Anna said, realization suddenly dawning on her. "Some of those clues had dust on them and some were buried in walls. Maybe we should just stay here for a little while and see if something comes up. If not, we can always move somewhere else."

"Or... some of us could go get her...?" Cela suggested moving around to sit in Headmistress Rae's chair. She swung her legs and looked around, tapping on the table idly incase the whole thing magically turned into gold or something.

"We should look for a while an then go get her." Cela suggested, peering at a knothole on the table. "The thing, on the top of the combined map looks like a shield or a crest to me." she added.

Listening to Kaika speak first, agreeing with Anna and Savannah it seemed about going to see the Headmistress, then Cela spoke. And argued against the treasure being Headmistress Rae, with good reasons too. Oh seriously, there was a reason that girl was in Ravenclaw!

"Hmm," Dominic thought, walking slowly behind the staff table, investigating the chairs and floor closely. The fourth year stopped as he arrived at the Headmistress' chair, resting one hand on the back of it lightly. Could it be? Should he? If a staff member were here, he'd be in so much trouble... he'd just say they were on a mission, which was true. Too much time contemplating though, as Cela slipped into it suddenly, causing his hand to instinctively leave the backrest.

"Hey! I was just going to..." he pouted at the young second year for taking his seat.

"Oh, well, I'll go get her. I've always wanted to go up there, and believe it or not, I never have," Anna said. "Would anyone like to go with me?" Anna laughed again as Cela sat in the headmistress' chair. "You know, I've always wanted to sit there, too. I guess it's just one of those things where you just want to say you did it, you know."

Cela shrugged and moved over, patting the space next to her as she looked around the hall.

"Oh." Celandine looked up at Anna. "You know, I might just stay here cos I did just get out of detention and would rather not run into Nicholai if you don't mind."

So, while everyone's opinion seemed the correct one, it was still rather confusing. "It can still be the Headmistress...or not...the sure thing is that Hogwarts itself wanted us to do this" so, maybe the Castle knows something they don't.

She nodded at Celandine whilst taking a muffin from the table. She was too hungry to continue whatever it was they were going to do.

Kaika laughed at Dominic's face when he noticed the girl on the seat. She looked at Anna as she said she'll go get the Headmistress "So, umm, I'll stay too, I've been walking all day..." she said, taking another bite to the muffin, and looking around for something else.

"Hey!" Anna jokingly called out, frowning at the way Cela had scooted over for Dominic. "I want to sit there sooner or later. I'd just like to say I did, you know." Anna smiled and then shrugged that one off. She was apparently going to see the headmistress soon and was getting a little nervous thinking about it. "So---Cela and Kaika's out. Would anyone else like to go see the headmistress with me?" she asked, looking around to see if there were any volunteers.

Dominic blinked as Cela motioned for him to sit down next to her, as there appeared to be quite a bit of room for the two small students. Shrugging, he contemplated the situation a moment before sitting down next to her. "Oh. Headmaster Denton?" He mused thoughtfully. "With Deputy Headmistress Toussaint."

Though just as soon as his fantasy began, it was broken by Anna's voice of requesting someone to go with her to the Headmistress' office. A place he'd love to see. "I'll go," the fourth year volunteered. Besides, Anna seemed like a nice person to get to know.

"I'll come," Savannah volunteered herself, seeing as there was enough others staying behind to continue looking and there was few times in her entire six years she had gone to the Headmistresses office. The slight thought of a Prefect staying with them, incase a Professor came by, crossed her mind but she brushed it away with ease. It seemed doubtful, and they could explain anyways. Simple. "Should we bring the map to show her?" Vannah asked, turning to Anna.

The sound of a throat clearing near them was the only evidence of his presence. How the giant man had managed to come up to them so quietly without them noticing was beyond anyone. He looked somewhat amused at them sitting at the table. "Just what do you children think that you are doing?"

"Really?" Anna asked, smiling at the fact that someone was actually going to go with her. She'd thought for a moment there that everyone was going to back out on her, and she'd have to go alone. Hmm...Dominic did seem like a pretty cool guy to get to know. If Anna could put up with Cale, she could put up with Dominic for sure. "Okay, well, Dominic and I will go and get the Headmistress. It shouldn't take too long." Anna smiled up at Dominic, silently thanking him for volunteering to go along. It was probably something to boost his enormous ego, but who cared. There was something about Dominic Denton...almost like Anna had met him before. She didn't think she had, though.

Savannah nearly jumped, though she had just thought of the possibility of a Professor stumbling upon them she really believed it would happen. "Erm, Hello Professor" She greeted in a quiet, polite tone. Picking up the map she had taken from Dominic, the sixth year held it up for him to see. Explaining, "The map pointed us here," rather nervously.

Noooo. Not the Herbology one. She jumped as she heard a voice much more different than the ones being heard so far. Kaika looked at the others for a few clues on what to say.

"Well, I'm eating a muffin, Professor" she said, still holding half the muffin she was eating, "What brings you over here?" she asked, entirely oblivious that this was, after all, the Staff table, and they were the ones out of place. Not to mention where Cela was standing.

He quirked a brow. "Map?" He hooked a toe under Kaika's chair, threatening to topple it. "Eating a muffin... at the staff table..."

Before Dominic had the chance to escape with Anna to the Headmistress' Office, they were interrupted. By the man who had called him a child at the start-of-term feast and again, all children now. Shrugging off this minor point, the fourth year popped out of the Headmistress' seat as quickly as lightening.

That was when Savannah stepped up to explain why they were here and the map. The 'X' was behind the staff table, right in the middle. Whirling around on the spot, the fourth year ignored all else there, as his eyes scanned the wall behind the staff table for something. Some sort of clue ... On that wall, his fingers reached forward and ran across the smooth surface of the wall.
