Where was Terry? Did he get lost? He had better not be off talking to that Paige girl from earlier. Granted she was a nice enough girl, but she was so pretty, it made even Evolette squirm in her seat just thinking about the look that Terry had given her.

If he did not show up soon, she might have reason to start worrying.

Evolette had become so distracted by her own thoughts that she had almost missed everything Nico had just said. Almost.

"He winked at her?" she asked, thoroughly enjoying this news. "How scandalous!" She assumed that had made Cale very uncomfortable. Bwaha. She tucked her hair behind her ear, focusing her eyes on her friend next to her and not the Gryffindor table, "A new friend?" she repeated, she was willing to bet his new friend was female.

With a small sigh, she nodded, "Yes, actually, or trying would be better, its proving to be harder than I thought it would be." she admitted, knowing he would understand, he had a girlfriend, he had to know what she meant.

Nicholai watched Evolette in concern; he could see she was stressed since a little furrow was making itself comfortable in her brow. He managed a comforting smile for her when she turned back to him.

"Scandalous indeed." Nico agreed, glossing over his own scandalous behaviour on the train. "I think you might enjoy meeting Seth; he's a hufflepuff but I think he'd fit in over here just fine."

Nicholai nodded as he thought of Mari; she was intriguing and pretty. Now that he thought about it- he really only made friends with pretty girls.
"Yeah, her name is Mari." Nicholai left it at that but allowed a smirk to creep over his face.

"I'm not trying." Nicholai admitted, "But Kayla trusts me and I'd never do anything more than flirt. It'd be against my nature not to. I'm impressed that you are trying though." Nicholai smiled at her and whispered in her ear, "It shows a softer side of you, Evolette- but I won't tell anyone."

"You must introduce us." she said with a nod, allowing her curls to tumble back over her shoulder without bothering to move them.

Ha. She had been right. It was a girl. Of course she really didnt expect anything less.

"Terry and I - we have trust issues that we are working on, and it makes it a lot easier for him to trust me, and vice versa, if we both tone down the flirting a bit."

It was odd, but Evolette would never do that for someone other than Terry, he was the only one she had even considered giving up flirting for, the only boy she found worthy of that.

She smirked when he whispered to her, "We wouldn't want it getting out the Evolette McKenna isn't an ice queen after all." she teased.

Elizabeth had made it. She was officially at Hogwarts! She couldn't believe it. It was just as her father had described it to look! It was gorgeous and breathtaking. Old fashioned, but modernised castle with large rooms, and the Great Hall! Entering the Great Hall, Elizabeth looked immediately to the ceiling. A large full moon's light met her eyes suddenly. "Wow" Elizabeth thought, as she continued to look at the rest of the indoor sky that was magically produced on the ceiling. Twinkling stars were randomly placed upon the dark black velvet sky.

Drawing her eyes away from the beautiful sight, Elizabeth now looked back down at eye level to the five tables. Four being longways, and one at the far end horizontal. Looking from left to right, Elizabeth was able to spot the Slytherin table instantly and began to make her way over. Finding a spare seat at the front of the table, with some of the other students who looked young and possibly first years, Elizabeth took a seat.

Before he could reply to the two, he had to close gaping his mouth shut. It was apparent that he would just interrupt their conversation.

He faintly nodded his head to them and resumed to eating a random thing he picked up without looking and stuffed it to his mouth. He was quite obviously stuck in his thoughts.

Unfortunately, the object he had stuffed in his mouth turned out to be his neighbor's left hand which was Nico's.

"Oh! Sorry about that, I wasn't paying attention," he said to Nico, returning his hand.

Tees spat out the weird flavor in his mouth and gulped down a glass of whatever that tasted like pumpkins.

Demetrius watched as a girl sat near where they were, "Hello, I'm Demetrius Colt" he introduced himself, giving the girl a smile, "Glad to be Slytherin, I suppose" he said, who wouldn't? Probably the Huffie type ones.

"This does seems awesome, don't you think?" he asked, gesturing to the whole room, the Great Hall and the ceiling. "Umm..Me and Lucas are having chicken, and it tastes delicious" he added, babbling about the food.

Nicholai nodded in understanding, it made sense. And it was the very reason he was being so well behaved around Evolette.

"Quite," Nico agreed, "since i'm sure you find it fairly amusing when they all line up and try their best to melt your heart." speaking of which Nico was intrigued to meet her boyfriend, since quite clearly he had managed to do so.


Nicholai stared in horror at his hand as this Tease person put it in his mouth. In. His. Mouth.

Nico pulled back his hand and immediately dunked it in the glass of water before him while wrestling his wand free from his pocket. Once his wand was out he pointed it at his dripping hand furiously casting scourgify over and over until his skin was pink.

He looked between Evolette and mouth boy in disgust and stood up.

"Excuse me Evolette." Nicholai spoke coolly through a clenched jaw; physically holding himself back from doing something stupid. Not on the first day.

Scourgify wasn't nearly enough- he had to go wash his hand.

Tees smacked his forehead and bit his lip. He really had messed up...and on the first day? Why did he have to let his thoughts carry him away. An older student he wasn't getting along with on the first day would be the last thing he needed.

One thing was very certain. HE HATED CROWDS!
Samuel sat down abruptly at the Slytherin table, his face set into a dark scowl. One, why couldn't he see Kiera anywhere? He'd missed her on the train, two, why was there so much meat? Vegitarian. Muchly. He slowly reached for a pitcher full of water, filling his recently empty cup up with the clear liquid.

Theo almost tripped over as he ran into the Great Hall. His robes were a bit long, but he didn't care. He slipped to a halt in front of Lucas. "Lukey. I gotted into Slyvverin. Are you in Slyvverin too?" he squealed, excitedly. He wriggled into the little space next to Lucas. He rested Eddie on the edge of his goblet and placed Buzz on the seat next to him.

Carmen found the Slytherin table easily enough although she was a little disappointed to see so many first years. But ohmigosh they were cute! Carmen was almost tempted to go on a cheek pinching rampage but held herself back.

She took a seat and examined the selection in front of her; settling for water rather than the carb-loaded offerings. She took her mirror from her pocket and spent a moment fussing with her hair and applying a touch of lipgloss.

Where was Mr. Glisseo Smooth or the Knight in Shining Armor when a girl needed entertainment?

Freya sighed a bit and sat back, reaching a decent height as she craned her neck to have another look at the hall, which was getting crowded. She watched as a young boy ran into the hall and nearly killed hiself as he tripped. 'Geez, kid, don't bother to take your time. But whatever. It's not my problem.' Freya thought to herself. Seeing a few other younger students that she recognized from Diagon Alley, and the train, Freya gave a small wave, which was returned. A new girl had taken a seat nearby, and was actually examining their makeup, 'Oh brother' Freya thought again as she rolled her eyes. Thinking again, she took out her mirror and examined the large gash over her eye, it looked much healthier.

Helena walked into the Great Hall feeling a little queasy and nervous. She knew why she was nervous, although she wasn't entirely sure why she was queasy. Perhaps it's because I didn't eat anything on the train, she thought. Helena mentally shrugged and walked toward the Slytherin table.

As she got closer, Helena scanned the table backwards and forwards for someone she knew, but she failed to see anyone except a few first years, and she wasn't in the mood to babysit, at the moment.

Sighing, Helena walked alongside the table looking for a seat that seemed promising. Finally, she caught sight of an Asian boy who seemed to be just a tad bit older than she. Smiling slightly, her eyes shining blue, she walked over to him. Is this seat taken? she inquired as she indicated the seat to his right.

With something of a growl, Jared dropped down onto the spare seat closest to him. He picked lightly at the food, still glaring at it. Where was his troublesome sister when he needed her. He looked sourly at the cut on his finger. She was going to heal it as soon as she came back. He'd make sure of that.

"You can come to my house and see all our muggle stuff." Lucas offered. "We have a lot of their stuff. Like tvs, nd dvds, and nitendo DS." Lucas rattled off. "My family does. We used to live near muggles, but we moved when all my brothers and sisters got our wands and brooms. My mommy wanted us to be able to use magic without getting caught." Lucas explained.

Lucas nodded. "Nico is really nice and he has a lot of girlfriends." Lucas said under his breath.

Lucas watched as his friend almost slipped into the floor running over after he got sorted. "Yes Theo I saw you get sorted. Did the hat talk to you to?" He asked his best friend. He pulled his arm from around his sister so he could push the chair back for Theo to sit next to him at the table. "Yep me and my sister got into Slytherin. We are going to have fun in the common room together." Lucas declared.

"Yeah it did. I fought it was going to put me in Hufflepuff it was taking so long," Theo said. "You got sorted into Slyvverin first. Did it talk to you too?" He frowned, "I fought your sister was going to New York." He wriggled on the seat.

Liam smirked at the kid. “I know.” he nodded. How could he not? - the kid never shut up about it. “Looked pretty daunting going up there and having that hat thing put on your head.” he commented. Made Liam glad he had had a rather unceremonious sorting in the headmaster's office last year. The thought of having to go up there with all those little people made him cringe slightly. He would just find the whole thing embarrassing.

He took a brief look around and suddenly became aware that he was surrounded by nothing but little people. Everywhere he looked there was another small person. What had there been a baby boom in the year 2055 or something?

He looked towards the end of the table and spotted Nico. He nodded and smirked at the boy, making a mental note to go and talk to him later when he wasn't in the company of yet another female. He looked away, down at his food as a wave jealousy washed over him. It had been exactly the same at Durmstrang too. He guessed some lads just had it, and others, like himself, well ...didn't.

He started playing with the mashed potato on his plate, mixing in the gravy and tomato ketchup until it turned a murky dark shade of icky orange. He soon tired of that and stood up to reach over the table and grab the pitcher of pumpkin juice, pouring a large glass. He took a sip and started to look around distractedly again. He squinted over at the Ravenclaw table to see if he could see that girl from the train. Loopy she may be, but at least she had been pleasant company.

Lucas nodded. "It said I should be in Ravenclaw but I didn't want to go there. I wanted to be in Slytherin with you." Lucas told him. "She wanted to come to Hogwarts instead." Lucas wasn't tally sure why Willow had come to Hogwarts. She said she wanted to go to ballet school, but Lucas wasn't going to argue about it. He wanted his sister with him anyways. "Do you have ants in your pants?" Lucas giggled.

Theo giggled, "No. I just can't wait to eat. Unless we can eat now, and don't have to wait for the Headmistress. My daddy said we have to wait. But dat was like firty years ago." He was eyeing the mashed potato. And the gravy. He took a sip out of the edge of his goblet, not moving Eddie form his little space on the metal.

Amanda walked into the Great Hall and smiled, well she was happy to be at Hogwarts, even happier that she didn't have to see Cassandra Trelawney ever again. She headed over to the Slytherin table and took a seat, noticing that Nico was already there along with some people that she hadn't met, they were either first-years or they went to Cooper's last term.

"You can eat now Theo." Lucas told him. Everyone else was eating, why did he think he had to wait. He watched him drink out of his cup with his tiny little bat still perched on the edge of the goblet. "The chicken is really good. Almost like KFC chicken." Lucas said.

Theo grinned, "I can eat?" He quickly shovelled a small pile on plate. It looked big to him. He then poured some gravy over it and grabbed his fork. "I'll have some later." He shovelled some mashed potato into his mouth, "Mmm dis is good." He swallowed the big lump. "Have some."

Evan made his way into the Great Hall, overwhelmed by the splendor of the room and the beautiful sky visible overhead. He approached the Slytherin table and spotted a few empty seats near a boy and girl that looked about his age.

"Hi, my name is Evan. May I sit with you guys?"

Lucas nodded. "Yes go ahead." He told his friend. He giggled when he watched Theo eat. he must have been just as hungry as Lucas was. Lucas took his fork and took some of Theo's mashed potatoes and pushed them into his mouth. They were good. "This is good. Who does the cooking?" he asked curiously.

"It says in Nia's book dat da house elves do. Dey make all the food. And clean da castle," Theo said. He munched on some more potato. "Dey are about da same size as us I fink. I have never met one. I have only read about dem."
