"Well, strangely enough both subjects you mentioned are my strongest subjects. My weakest is muggle studies, it's pointless if you ask me." Freya said still trying to keep a friendly tone of voice. "My mother refused to teach it to me, I guess you could say that's why it's my weakest, I've never had experience in it yet." Freya looked down at the goblet that was in front of her, casually looked around to see that nobody except Lucy was looking, she waved her hand lazily over the top of it. The goblet transformed into a small, gold figure of a snake. Roving her hand over it again in the same manner, it turned back into a goblet. "Oh, and don't worry about your eyes, mine tend to become nearly white when I'm angry. It's one of the first things my mom noticed about me when I was very little that she saw hope in."

He glanced over at his niece and nephew who were too engaged in conversation to have even noticed their uncle.. hmph!. “You two made it into Slytherin then.” he said through a mouth full of mashed potato. “Congratulations.” 'I think.' His brother was going to be very confused as to how all his kids ended up in the Slytherin house.

Cunning, clever and determined? Nathan was like the complete polar opposite.

Lucy smiled. So far she was the only person she knew that had that eyes change color. I wonder if i inheritated Metamorphgus from my mother? I mean ive never tried. I think divinsion is stupied. Its boring.

"Your mother was a metamorphmagus?" Freya asked with interest, "Wish I had that talent, but it's one I don't possess." she added with a bit of a sour tone, she loved being powerful, the more skill the better. "Divination isn't too bad, I mean, I've had some success in it, but not much though." Freya finished as she eyed the food that had appeared on the table. "Finally!" she exclaimed as she piled her plate high with as much meat and potatoes as she could.

Lucas was happy that he had been sorted into Slytherin and so had Willow he was so happy. He was piling the food on his plate, "Yes Liam. I wanted to be in Slytherin." he said was he took a big bite of his chicken leg. He was hungry. Breakfast was so long ago it seemed.

Yes! He was in Slytherin. Not that he hadn't expected that, but Demetrius was probably way too worried about belonging on some other house. It felt amazing to be green, and the place didn't look too bad itself, since this was the first time he'd seen this Great Hall people kept talking about.

He simply took a seat, admiring the surroundings and the people.

Lucas smiled at the new boy that sat down at the table. "Are you a first year too?" He asked as he wiped his mouth from the chicken he had just eaten. "I'm Lucas, Lucas Greenwood." He said introducing himself.

Wasn't it obvious? No one else seemed to be looking around, usually first years did so. Or Demetrius did, at least.

He looked at the boy and nodded, "Yes, first year" he said, and then smiled, "I'm Demetrius Colt" he added, and couldn't help to look at Lucas's plate, "Good to meet you, Lucas" he said, "How's the chicken? I bet it's good, many have told me that the food here is delicious" he started to say, looking from the chicken to Lucas again.

Actually it turned out to be temporary." she answered not wanting to get into all the details of the Belle school

Willow looked from her brother to their uncle and smiled. " Well I was a bit surpised this is where I got sorted ." she admitted. " But I like it." she said as she put a bit of food on her plate. She unlike her brother who was now eating like he hadnt ate in days. she too small careful bites of her food.

"Hello Demetrius." Lucas said nodding to him as he stuffed some bread into his mouth and chased it with some juice from his cup. "I like your last name. Its like a muggle football team the Colts." he said when he finally swallowed.

He looked at Willow, "You didn't want to be in Slytherin with me?" He asked. He wanted to be with his sister. "What happened at your old school that you came to Hogwarts?" He asked.

"I shall have the chicken then" he said, deciding to trust the boy's choice of food, he was in Slytherin, so he must have good taste. "I know, I didn't like my family name until I found that out" he nodded, he loved muggle things, and the sports seemed very, very insteresting to him. Weird choices the muggles had.

His eyes widened a bit as he spoke to the girl, "You didn't want to be in Slytherin?" who on their sane judgement will choose a different house, "I think it's the greatest house ever" he said, looking at the girl.

There were miniature people everywhere. Possibly a good thing as it meant Nicholai would have an easier time spotting the people he knew- when he could be bothered looking. In the meantime he was quite content to take a seat at the far end of the table and maybe have something to eat.

Water. Bread. Butter. He always chose the same thing when he felt a little sick to his stomach- although this time it was because he missed someone.

Admittedly there was a moment where he thought fondly of the table at Coopers'. Even though he had given his cushion to a Gryffindor, the Slytherin table had still been fairly extravagant for school.

He adjusted his uniform slightly- glad he had bought completely new robes since the others were tainted by the whole Cooper experience and getting a little tight around the shoulder.

Nico took a moment to see if he could spot his sister, but if she was at the Ravenclaw table, her tiny form was lost behind a wall of older students. He'd find her later.

Lucas nodded at him. This was the best food ever, well his daddy's food was the best ever, but this would do while he couldn't eat his daddy's food. "Its a nice name. Me and my daddy watch muggle tv all the time. He likes footie though, but I like American footie too. Do you watch muggle tv?" He asked as he talked at the speed of light.

He waved at Nico he sat at the far end of the table away from them.

" It closed, not sure why. lot of the older girls was always saying they liked it here. But I don't know if it was all that bad i am glad of the change tho i wouldn't be here with you and Liam. I like Slytherin and of course i wanted to be it just suprised me a little." She said

Tanjiro sighed after a long train ride, with which only the silence had accompanied him.

He found his way to the Slytherin table, hoping he would find some girls or boys his age he could converse with. He was getting quite lonely and he had a feeling he wouldn't want to for very long.

He grinned, "Yes!" Demetrius said, nodding, "It's interesting all this things that muggles can do without magic, even if their pictures don't move" that was one little fact that he found amusing, how of all things muggles weren't able to make their pictures move.

"And not just that, me, my father and my uncle watch baseball and basketball on a tv we got" he said, "It's hidden from mum, though, she things we're wasting our time, which is silly of her. We must know how muggle things work, who knows were it may come in handy" he shrugged, and poured some pumpkin juice into his cup. He remembered the way he'd referred to muggles back in the train. Creatures. And the huffie girl corrected him annoyingly, saying the word 'people'.

He watched as the first year waved at a boy. "Oh, do you know him? He looks quite tall, which year is he in?" curious, curious Colt.

Evolette made her way over to the Slytherin table, a smirk dancing on her lips. Two out of three of her best friends were in Slytherin house with her, well, she shouldn't be that excited, seeing as the most important one, her boyfriend had been sorted into Gryffindor. Meh.

Her cool blue eyes sought out Nicholai, and she smiled, sitting beside him at the table and brushing her dark hair off of her shoulders, "Well. I haven't seen you around since my sister so rudely made a first impression." she commented.

Lucas leaned against his sister. He liked Willow a lot more than Paris, not that he didn't love her too. Willow was just sweeter than Paris. "I'm glad you are here too Willow." He said sliding his arm around her waist to hug her again. "Slytherin will be fun Willow."

Lucas giggled. "I love muggle stuff. I have a lot of muggle toys and DVDs and stuff." he said. none of the stuff would work at Hogwarts he was sad about this fact, but he had brought it anyways. "My whole family likes muggle stuff." He explained.

He nodded. "That's Nico I met him with Anna at Diagon Ally. He knows a lot of girls and stuff." Lucas said.

Nicholai caught Lucas' wave and returned it half-heartedly. That kid required more energy than he had to spare right now. Lucas would probably get along really well with Nico's sister.

Nicholai noticed a kid looking a fair amount older than a first year and nodded at him in acknowledgement- even making the effort to smile slightly.

"Ah now, I wouldn't worry about that Evolette; seeing as meeting your sister served only to highlight how lucky I was to meet you first." Nicholai responded, his eyes flicking to her hair as she drew attention to it.

Nicholai smirked at her and slowly stood up; waiting for her to take a seat before he took his own again.

Evolette smirked, that was true, why had she not thought of it that way? It seemed once again he was right.

"Well aren't you charming?" she asked, with a smile, as she sat down, and shifted into a comfortable position. She clasped her hands together in her lap and arched an eyebrow, "Now, how was your trip?" she asked, quite curious, "Amusing?"

Tanjiro leaned his head on his palm in boredom. He seriously preferred Japanese food but he doubted that this school would change their food plans for him. Before he could force himself to eat chicken and other foreign foods he noticed, in the corner of his eye, a student who was maybe his age or older.

Hoping to end his boredom he turned his head to face him, smiling jubilantly. He exhaled slowly and after their sentences and said, "What's up? I'm Tanjiro, but you can call me Tees. That's my nickname. What's you guy's names?" He looked at the girl that the other older student was speaking to and tried to send her a polite smile, but instead having a very nervous one.

"Oh I think you will find my charm increases and decreases in direct proportion to the standard of company I keep." Nicholai responded airily with a wink to acknowledge the high standard he considered her company to be. He took his seat once more, being careful not to sit too close to her since they were both spoken for and all.

"It was...enlightening." Nicholai grinned, "I sat with our friends; the Gryffindor prefects and met a few more interesting people." He nodded and took a sip of his water. "And yourself? Were you kept amused?"

"Tease?" Nicholai's eyebrow shot up and he glanced at Evolette in consternation. Interesting.

"I'm Nicholai Toussaint." Nico responded with a polite nod and an easy smile, "And this is Evolette Mckenna." Nico gestured to her and began a mental count as to how long before she made the boy blush.

He laughed, finally someone that understood how interesting muggles were, and owned muggle things. Well, it was an understatement to say that Demetrius was loving Hogwarts by far.

"We don't own too many things, though, because of my mother" he said, nodding, "But it's still fun to be around their stuff" he said, referring to muggle-related things. "Oh, you're soooo lucky, my mum and my big sister don't like them as much as the rest of us do" he shook his head this time.

"I'll try to remember his name, in case I need it" he made a mental note to himself.

Evolette nudged his arm with her elbow and chuckled, "Are you always so charming? Don't you ever have an off day?" she teased, she knew the answer to that already. No. He was too much like herself.

Her eyebrows shot up when he mentioned Cale and Anna, "Oh yes? How was that. Do share." she added, her interest officially piqued.

"Hmm." she mused, thinking back on her own experience on the Hogwarts Express. "I spent the whole time with Terry." she admitted, catching her eyes flittering to the Gryffindor table, "Of course trying my hardest not to flirt with the other boy who was with us." It had actually been surprisingly easy, she had only had to remind herself once.

When Nicholai introduced her, she smiled charmingly at the boy, suddenly on alert that someone was looking at her, "Pleasure." she replied, giving him a wink before she could catch herself. It had been purely on instinct, she wasn't perfect afterall, contrary to popular belief.

Nicholai merely shrugged; he was pretty sure he probably had one or two 'off days' as she put it, but he didn't quite recall.

"Hmmm, well the new Hufflepuff prefect joined us." Nicholai smirked before adding, "He winked at Anna."

It seemed like a rather innocent statement but he figured Evolette would follow well enough.

"Anna of course; remains oblivious. Cale; not so much." Nicholai examined his nails before shooting another smile at Evolette. "Oh and I made a new friend."

Nicholai caught her looking toward the Gryffindor table and smiled gently at her. "On your very best behaviour hmmm?"
