"If he does I'll buy you a new owl." Chalice said. "And go over there and show him how muggles fight." she mumbled.

Kairi raised her eyebrow, "You sure do have a heart don't you?" she said, shaking her head, "Good luck, Twinkletoes, I've tried 1000 times, and I always come out with a black eye," she said with a small grin.

"Oh you heard that last bit? Well, I have had lots of practice in my Karate and Tia Chi classes."

"You do Tai-Chi? I have to learn Tai-Chi to be able to bend water properly, maybe you can teach me?" Kairi asked hopefully.

"Maybe." Chalice said.

Kairi shook her head, "Ok, ok, sorry, I was being to pushy," She yawned, and looked out the window, her eyes suddenly growing big, "I gotta go," she said, hurriedly, "Bye, hunny,"

Maddox silently walked up the steps and into the owelry, listening only to the thud of his boots on the steps. He was tired, mentally mostly, trying to help nico was harder then he thought. He needed to write his mum back. She had written him about a week ago asking him if everything was alright, and how lima was. he already had the letter written up he just needed to grab asmara, his beautiful snowy owl.


He was about to call from her when he heard someone screaming at the top of their lungs 'Kyler!' He quickly walked to the window and looked out where the noise was coming from. He saw near the whomping willow, his girlfriend, her ex Kyler, and a couple of her friends.

The thing that bothered him most, was how excited she was to see him. She tackled him to the ground hugging him like he was the best thing since sliced bread. He couldnt believe his eyes. He watched them. He suddenly felt like he was nothing to her.

He continued to watch for a few moments, when he suddenly realized that Kyler had his hands on her like they were still together...and Lima Let him. He was suddenly furious. So furious in fact that he punched the stone wall next to him. His knuckles on his right hand were now bloody, but this was nothing compared to the painhe was feeling at the moment. "How could she?" He shook his head, and turned around.

"Asmara." He called out.She fluttered up to him hooting softly. He tied the letter around her leg, even though it was now full of lies, and said, "Take it home to mum." He gave her some food and sent her on her way.


He looked out of the window one last time and watched as his girlfriend slowly and painfully broke his heart. He wouldnt say anything about it, yet. He walked out of the owelry and headed for the hufflepuff common room.

"You weren't being pushy. I'll teach you anytime you want. Bye Kare Bear, I'll let you know what the letter says when it comes in."

Ella was cursed herself for her forgetfullness. She didnt send a single owl to her family. Surely Lua would get upset of this. With the letter in her hand, she chose one of the school owl since she had not owned anyone. The place was too smelly and she hurried to finish the work to escape from the place.

Kayla walked up to the owlery and passed Maddox on her way, she was about to say hello to him but the look on his face made her think twice. Wow she had seen that look before, it was the one she had been wearing for the last few weeks. They weren't all that close so she figured it wasn't her business to ask.

She entered the olwery a few moments later and called her owl Cleo down. The little grey and white owl fluttered down and landed on Kayla's shoulder. "Hello beautiful girl" she murmured. "I have another delivery for you" she handed Cleo the envelope and the owl took it into her beak. "I promise I'll have something nice for you when you get back" Kayla stroked Cleo's feathers for a few minutes before walking over to the window. "Safe flight then" she felt the slight pressure from Cleo's claws and then the owl took flight.

Kayla watched as Cleo flew out of sight and then looked down at the grounds. So she was now going to have a new name...this should be interesting.

Freya made her way into the owlery, it was pretty cool out...not that she was going to complain about it. She looked up into the rafters for her two owls, Tundra and Anchor, and found them huddled together, nearly asleep. "Psst! You two!" Freya exclaimed as the owls gave her an endearing look, finally gliding down, each taking a different shoulder. "You guys keep getting heavier each time I see you." Freya said calmy to them as the sat down on a large stone wall, letting her long legs dangle, her toes hitting the floor. "I have another job for you...both of you." She added as she gave Tundra a clever look, "You've been on retirement it seems. But not for long." Freya finished as Anchor started to mess with her hair and Freya took out a piece of parchment, tearing it in half.
She wrote a quick note on the first part,

Taking the second piece of parchment, Freya folded it into a very small box shape and tucked something on the inside. "This one is for you." She told Tundra, "Since you have more experience. I think you know where to bring this." Freya tied the paper box to Tundra's leg and held him out on her arm, he took off into the sky.
Freya then tied the short letter to Anchor's leg, scratching his head a little bit in delight. She held her other arm out, "Just take this to Felix. He'll take care of you overnight I'm sure." Freya gave a small smile and watched as Anchor took flight as well.

Demetria walked over to her families owl and looked over the letter one more time.

Hey buddy! I miss you sooo much. Hogwarts is ahmazing. Much better then any make-believe game we could ever play. I wish you were here. You would have sooo much fun. I've met a lot of great friends but ofcourse none of them are as great as you. How are things at home? I'll be back for Christmas I promise. I've got a lot of goodies for you.

Demetria sighed as she tied the letter to the deep black owl. "Give this to Jason." she told her, kissing her on the head before she left.

Chris walked onto the owl droping strewn floor and found his owl Lyra. he called her down and gave her an owl treat he pulled out of his pocket so he could go ober his letter to home:

Dear Mom and Dad,
How is life at home? I really miss you guys. I got the money you sent the other day. Thanks for sending so much! I cant wait to spend it the next Hogsmeade weekend! Hogwarts is so amazing it is even better than in Hogwarts, A History. Classes have been good. I particularily like Transfiguration and Ancient runes. Mom how has the modeling coming along, have you got to go to France for that fashion show you were talking about? Dad I can not wait for our trip to China this summer, i cant wait to learn about the Chinese wizards of the past! Man your next book will be very interseting im might have to actually read this one. Just kidding. I love you guys!

Xehanna rushed to the owlery slamming the door open as she searched for a pen to write with. she found one lying on the ground. she took out the blank piece of parchment from her pocket. she began to write.

Xehanna rolled up the parchment and wrote Derek on the outside. she tied it to the owls leg. "This goes to Derek in the Secret Gardens of Romania. fast as possible please." she said as she pushed the owl on its way. she got out another piece of parchment and began to write.

One tear rolled down her cheek and she didnt even try to stop it. "Send this to Mother." she said as she pushed the family owl out the window and wiped her tear. she ran out of there as fast as possible, sobbing.

Isabella walked solemnly to the room and looked around for Albania. When she spotted her she whistled lightly. The white owl landed beside her and Isabella pet her friend's silky feathers. She pulled some treats from her pocket and gave them to Albania who quickly devoured them.

Isabella gave her a small smile. "Well, at least I know you still love me." she whispered as she pulled out the letter for her parents.

Isabella placed the letter in an envelope and secured the envelope to Albania's leg. She gave the owl a final treat and a kiss on the head before sending her off. She watched as the owl became nothing more than a speck in the sky before making her way back to her dorm.

Penny walked in looking for Pax's big brown owl. Jazzmaster, better known as Jazz, flew down and sat on her shoulder. Penny was the only one that the owl liked, besides Pax. She giggled when she remember when the owl bit Patrick on the ear, because Patrick tried to take the owl off of her shoulder. Jazz hooted at her, "You remember that too huh?" she asked the owl and scratched his head. She pulled her letter from her pocket. "I need to you take this to Preston." she told the owl. The letter read:

"Alright Jazz, get this to Preston and go see Paxters." Penny told the owl. She tied the letter to his leg and gave him a treat. "Becareful." she said and gave the owl one last scratch on his head.

Rapunzel skipped up to the owlery, a little scrolled clutched in her hand. "Archimedesssss," she sang, her green eyes searching for the tiny little elf owl. "I have a letttter for you!"

Naturally she was in a good mood after winning her first Quidditch match as a captain. She had to tell someone, so hopefully her Squib father would be able to understood the happy gibberish she'd written in the note. And hopefully he wouldn't show it to Mother, because Merlin knew how she hated Quidditch.

Vannie wandered up towards the owlery, today looking at least a little better than she had done on previous days. She was still looking rather pale, but at least it was healthy pale. Hopefully people wouldn't tell that anything was wrong. Unless they looked closely at her eyes, they'd see that she'd been crying.

She had come to send a letter back to her Mother. Her rather protective Mother. She had been rather worried about her other the previous few weeks, and Vannie had written back to tell her that she was okay. But of course she hadn't told her about the whole Miles thing. She wasn't going to tell her that.
Walking into the owlery she saw that Rapunzel was already there. "Hey Punz," She attempted to smile at the Huffie as she beckoned her Owl down.

Archimedes landed by Punz at last and she petted the little owl's head gently. He hooted kindly, seeming nice for once, and Punz beamed at him as she tied her scroll on.

"There, take this to Dad and make sure Mum doesn't see!" Punz whispered to the owl. "Off you go!"

Ah, life was good. Punz turned to head out the owlery and then she spotted one of her star Quidditch players behind her. "Vannnnnnie!" she called out cheerfully, still beaming. "How are....you?" Rapunzel's smile started to fade a little as she took in her fellow's Puff's disheveled appearance and sad eyes. Uh oh......

Smiling a little at her owl, she tied the letter onto it's leg. "Take this to Mum okay." She nodded, hoping that the twins wouldn't get there hands on it. That was the last thing she needed at the moment.

Looking back at Rapunzel as she walked over to her, she had to smile just a little bit more. Rapunzel had done amazingly at the quidditch. They had all been awesome. Oh dear. She guessed that Punz had noticed that she didn't look 100 percent. Would that mean she would have to explain all over again and would she cry. She certainly hoped now.
"I'm okay...Kinda...." She trailed off, twisting a strand of her hair around her finger.

"What's wrong...?" Punz asked softly, a bit hesitantly too. Vannie hadn't even finished her sentence, and Rapunzel was concerned for the girl.

I hope it's just not more boy drama, she thought, leaning against a window sill. We don't need annnny more of that on the team.

Vannie sighed as she looked down at her feet. She truly hoped that she wouldn't cry. Punz didn't need that and to be at all honest she didnt want to cry anymore. "Miles." She mumbled as if she was saying it more for comfort.

"He told me something...." She cut off, taking a deep breath as she looked up at Punz. "and It hurt me." She coughed, quite proud of herself for not crying. Crying wouldn't help

Oh dear, it is boy drama. And I am the worst person to talk to about this....well, not the worst, but Merlin knows how I used to act around boys....

Punz was tempted to smack herself in the forehead for asking. "Uh ohhh," she sighed, nodding knowingly. "He did something, didn't he?" She crossed her arms and leaned against the wall again. "Er, did you fight?" Shouting helped sometimes. Well, it had helped Punzel....

Vannie sighed as she moved so the could lean against the wall of the owlery. She needed the support of the solid wall now. She just wanted to hide but she was kind of glad that she was talking to someone else about it.

"Yeah He did," she spoke quietly as she looked at the floor. She wouldn't tell Punz what he had done, unless she asked of course. She felt some feeling that she shouldn't be telling everyone. "Not exactly," She shrugged, as she looked at Punz. They hadn't exactly had a fight but she had as well as shouted at him. "We're staying away from each other for a while," She added, looking sad just at those words.

Rapunzel's green eyes followed Vannie towards the wall. She looked like she was going to fall over without its support, the poor dear.

"Awww," she murmured, shaking her head slighlty. No need to ask what he'd done; boys could just be so stupid sometimes. "Maybe...maybe that could be a good thing," Punz added, trying to cheer Vannie up. "I mean, now you can flirt with lots o' boys and not feel guilty!" She grinned a little, even though Vannie wasn't a flirt like Punzel. Punz would be flirting with a kajillion boys if she didn't have Ryan although it wasn't like having a boyfriend really stopped her flirting anyways...
