Nate saw the girl from Potions class named Rachel. "Hello." he said to her with a smile. Nathaniel walked over to his owl. "Hey buddy! Been eating well I see." he said as he picked up his bird. "Ok little dude. I don't know if you will be able to carry all the stuff I've asked father for.. So I've got to get a bigger bird. Ok?". Nathaniel walked over to a HUGE bird and picked him up. "Ok big guy. I need to you to take this to my father and wait for him to send some stuff back. Okay?" he said tying the letter to the owls outstretched leg.

Rachel turned, surprised. "Hey Nate. How are you?" she asked cheerfully. That was a little too cheerful Rachel. Anyone could figure out you were faking. She watched him do his business with the owl, and chuckled softly when he called his owl 'little dude.'
"Does he have a name?" she asked, indicating to the smaller of the two owls.

Nathaniel smiled at her. "I'm doing well. Just sending a owl to Father about sending some of my muggle things here so I'm not going crazy. he said with a chuckle."His name is Pájaro but I just call him little dude.". "What are you up to? Did you enjoy Potions class?" he asked her. "I really hate wearing our uniforms. I might just ditch them and wear my muggle clothes soon enough." he added with a grin

"Ahh, you're muggle born like me. But I don't really miss the muggle things a lot," she replied and grinned. "That's a cute name, you should call him that more often!
"Oh yes, I loved it! It was really interesting, and he made it fun too," she said enthusiastically. Her expression then changed to puzzlement as he talked about the uniform. "But how can you not like it? I think it's really cool, actually. And I would never dream of ditching class," she said and laughed, pointing to the Ravenclaw sign on her robes.

"I'm half and half. My mum is am muggle and Father is a wizard." he said with a smile. "I love my muggle things. I do a lot of muggle things.". "If I could I'd walk around in my t-shirts and jeans. I'm used to walking around in just jeans and no shirt at all. I'm a beach kid."

"Oh right, sorry," she said, blushing a little at her mistake. "I don't know, I'm not really as into muggle things as I was before. I just have so much fun with magic, that I don't need the muggle world anymore.
"You like the beach? Way to go!" she said, holding out her hand in a high-five position.

"I love the muggle world. Father might be a wizard but he's not really into using magic around the house and such. My grandparents are though.". "So you're a Ravenclaw huh? So does that mean that you're a goody goody?". he said with a grin. Nathaniel high-fived the girl. "I live on the beach. I'm a very beachy kid." he said rolling up his sleeves to show her his tan.

"Just because I'm in Ravenclaw doesn't mean I'm a goody goody. But yes, I am too much of a coward to skip class," she said and grinned.
"I'm a beach kid too, but I don't tan easily. I don't go red either, I just stay pale, unlike some people," she said and looked jealously at his tan. "It's not fair! I want a tan too!"

"I'm a trouble maker. A hardcore one at that." he in a very low tone. "What's your favorite thing about the beach?" he asked with excitement. Finally someone that likes the beach.

"Well, obviously I love the Sun. But my favourite things are probably the smell of the ocean and the ocean itself! I love swimming when there are big waves!" she said, her eyes focusing on something far away. "What is your favourite thing?"

"I like the ocean. I like to surf a lot. I'm out on the beach all the time. I sleep out there and everything." he said with a grin. "Well I should be getting back to the dorm. I have some homework and drawing to do." he said with a smile. "It was very nice talking to you. I hope to do so later as well." he added heading towards teh door.

Rachel smiled as he left, "Yeah it was nice talking to you too." She sat back down on the bench, feeling lonely and wishing Sky would come back quickly.
She sat there for 2 minutes when she realised she had homework. Quickly, she gathered up her things and left the owlery.

Kaika rushed up the Owlery, certainly Snowy will be mad at her for not even visiting, but she really forgot. Besides, Snowy was most likely be having the time of her life being back at Hogwarts and all.

Apparently, Kaika had come up just in time, for Snowy was arriving at the same time, "Snowy!" she exclaimed, as soon as she saw the white owl. The little creature seemed happy to see her, which was a plus Kaika hadn't expected. "I have a letter for either dad or grandpa, make sure grandma doesn't see it" she said, as she petted her owl, and placed the little parchment for her convenience. It simply read:

"Expect a package soon, Snowy" she said, with a smile, and watched the owl fly away before returning to the Castle.

Kathrina walked slowly into the owlery. why was she here? its not like her parents even care. she walked slowly over to her snow white owl. "Hey there bells," she said softy. "how you been girl?" the bird looked at her with wide eyes, as if knowing of Kat's indecision. tears began to roll silently down her cheeks. she grabbed a quill and a piece of parchment out of her bad and fell to the ground and began to write.
Dear Mom and Dad,
I havent heard from you and i have been gone a while. how is everyone? Lily is she ok that im gone? hows grandma and grandpa? how are ya'll? i am ok i reckon, ive made a few friends i guess. just about everyone here is nice and caring. classes are great, im a little lost in potions and charms but i'll catch up. i guess its were its all new to me, the whole magic thing. i know ya'll said that you didnt want to hear from me but i hoped that if i gave you some time that you'd change your mind. I love you guys.

kat folded up her letter and tied it to bells leg. she kissed her owls head gently and watch her bird fly away.she wiped the tears from her face as she prayed her parents would respond. she continued to stand there staring at the sky.FONT]

Shaylee walked into the empty owlery and looked around. She wistled twice and her brown and white spotted barn owl Elle, flew over to her. She petted the owl and gave her some food to nibble on. She picked up a letter wich read,

Dear mum and Dad And Rosa,
Things are still going good. I miss you all very much and can't wait to see you at Christmas. I've made tons of new friends and my friend Kairi wants to try a Snickers. So if you could send up a couple snickers that would be great!! Hows Jimmy? Is he alright? Send everyone my love!

She tied the letter around Elles leg and then sent her out to send the letter back to her family. Shaylee watched as her very first wizarding friend flew away into the night.

Wearing a warm smile, the roundy-shaped Divination Professor made his way towards the owlery. It had been a while since he'd contacted the Mrs. and he thought it about time he'd do so.

As he reached into his pocket to pull out a rolled parchment letter, a very large tawny owl skooted a bit closer to him in anticipation of delivery. Alas, it only got so close as it spun its' head, having gotten interupted by the prescence of an eagle perched in one of the archways from which the owls would go and come. The two birds exchanged silent, baleful glances that somehow seemed twinged with a bitter life-long (or possibly familial) rivalry.

It was then that Professor Kapoor noted a spelling error on his letter to his wife. He dug into his deep wand pocket and pulled out his wand to perform a charm which would correct it. Oblivious was he to the tussle that had errupted between the owl and the eagle.

With the letter corrected, Kapoor turned to the owl, who by that time had chased off the eagle...well, almost completely. There remained from the tussle, a singular and bright shinning eagle feather non-chalantly placed upon the floor of the owlery. Kapoor attached the letter to the owl, who then flew off to deliver it. Watching the flight of the owl for a minute, Kapoor then turned around and headed back to his office.

Rachel thought for a bit before replying. Shrugging, she dipped her quill in the ink she had bought and began writing, pausing every so often to read it through. Sky perched himself on her shoulder and pecked her reassuringly every so often to make sure that she wouldn't chicken out.
After a while and a lot of crossing out, she finished. She read it over twice, then copied it out onto a fresh parchment. Grinning happily, she dried the ink then attached the letter to the owl's tail and off it went.
After it was no longer visible, she put sky on her lap and stroked his white feathers, getting slightly wet from her tears. But these were different tears, these were tears on happiness. Sky cooed softly and eventually she dried her eyes and stood up, packing her things. She kissed Sky on the top of his head, and he flew out of the owlery to hunt. Watching his white dot grow smaller and smaller until it disappeared, she pondered the results of this letter.
Pleased with herself, she left the owlery to get some food. She was starving.

Shaylee walked up the steps to the owlery. She wistled and Elle came flying to her. Shaylee straped a note onto her leg wich read,

Dear mom and dad and Rosa,
The snickers were for a friend. Things here are good. Im sending Rosie up some Bertie botts every flavored beans. Tell her I miss her and I cant wait to see her for Break!!!

Shaylee watched Elle fly away into the sky and turned back to the dorms to see her friends.

A relieved-looking Helena stepped gratefully into the confines of the owlery. She smiled, having been quite successful at finding her way around the castle this morning, and shook out her long, brownish-red hair. Her pale skin had a light flush to it today, and her eyes were an odd purple. They weren't very light, but not dark either.

Helena finished tying a ribbon around the tight scroll she clutched in her hands, barely even noticing that the ribbon was exactly the same shade of purple as her eyes. She walked over to the wall of owls and called down a brave-looking tawny. Smiling again, she tied the scroll to it's leg and took it to an open window. It took off immediately, and at the same moment, Helena felt strangely lonely.

Mari entered the owlery with a grim face. It was a little bit cold, or she thought so. Shadow flew down to her almost immidiatly. His handsome black feathers shined almost merrily under de dim light. Mari looked through the window and sighed. The note in her hand seemed to trembled slyghlty in her white small hand. It will be the first letter," she thought sourly, "Wonder why will mom think when she reads it." Something about the thought made her hesitate even more. It had been too long, she knew that, but it had been difficult, it really had. Mari sighed again, closed her eyes for a second feeling the soft breeze and tight the letter to Shadow's leg. She smiled tenderly at the owl absolulty adoring the last give Sebastian had given her. "Go little one," you know what to do." she said with such love it was hard not to smile. The owl seemed to understand, he peeked her hand gently and flew away loosing itself in the horizon. Mari however could not move, she stood there wahtching the owl dissapear compeltely

Helena looked away from the window, her eyes a much lighter shade of purple than they had been a moment before. She sighed inwardly and pulled her cloak tighter against her neck against the chilly wind sweeping in from the open windows. Then she disappeared through the door.

Chalice walked into the owlery and called Tourmaline. She attached the envelope to her bird's leg and sent her to the address that had been on the letter from her mom that morning.

Kairi walked into the owlery, and stuck two fingers in her mouth and whistled. Immediately Mitchi flew onto her shoulder, "Here you go Mitchi," Kairi said, attatching the letter explaining about Chalice and the whole parent thing to her leg. Mitchi hooted, and then took off, she was soon a white dot on the horizon.

"Tourmaline doesn't have far to go so we should have a reply by tonight." she said hopefully to Kairi.

Kairi nodded, "Me too, I just hope dad doesn't hurt Mitchi..."
