FOOODDDD!!! Cale could smell it from the Ravenclaw Tower where he had been packing up his trunk. The moment that the smell of blueberry pie hit his nose, he had chucked his shoes up in the air and booked it down to the Great Hall, his precious honking daffodil clutched protectively in his arms. He'd been to excited to put the plant down.
"HONK!"
Robin announced their arrival in the Great Hall. It appeared, upon a quick glance, that none of Cale's mates had made it into the Great Hall yet. Excellent, more time for him to get his hands on some food before Eddy and Tobi ate it all on him. He plunked Robin down on the table next to his plate and then crawled onto the bench.
"Honk." Robin hooted in protest to the thunking.
"Oh hush you," Cale said to the plant as he reached for the nearest bowl of mashed potatoes.

Valentine didn't take too long after Cale. She sat down beside him in a planted way. "We never had our adventure." She said with arms crossed, but the crossed arms didn't last long. THERE WAS ROAST BEEF! Valentine was trying to stay cross and stern, but the smell of the amazing food around her just did not help. Her eyes bounced back and forth before she started to pile food onto her plate.
"Oh I love roast beef and mashed potatoes." She said cutting into her food.

He hadn't even waited to add the roast beef to his plate before he started eating. And then he spotted the pumpkin juice. "Pass the juice would you Valey?" He reached in the other direction for the basket of rolls.

He took the pitcher from Valey and pored both him and a gobletful. "I can," he repeated to Valey. "Because you have noooo idea how many late nights I had patrolling halls!" Cale was looking forward to a complete week's worth of full night sleep.

Cale shrugged off Valey's "Caley" nickname. He sort of liked it, but he wouldn't admit it to anyone else- and Valey was the only one he'd tolerate being called "Caley" from anyways.
"Course it was," Cale reached over and filled Sho's goblet up as well before putting the pitcher down behind Robin. "Pass the broccoli Sho." He forked up another helping of mashed potatoes and ate them happily. "She got to hang out with us all year - and we're awesome!"
