Winter decided she would go ahead and tell Patty. "See Patty there was no Hogwarts lasts term. When we got off the train last term there were two lines one for boys and one for girls. The girls were taken to Belle's and the boys to Cooper's. I had never attened Hogwarts but my mom told me what it was like and Belle's was nothing like what she had told me.", Winter explained to Patty. "Now that I am at Hogwarts it is really amazing." Winter said as she took a sip of pumpkin juice. |

"Hello...Now...who can it be?" She asked, touching Chris's hand, teasing. "Umm...really, I can't guess who you are..." She said and laughed. |

The Headmistress, well, who she thought might be the Head around here, seemed nervous and tense. Not too approachable, Patty judged from a distance. One of them was supposed to be the Ravenclaw Head of House, or so she had read in Hogwarts: A History. Since professors didn't wear distinguishing articles of clothing, she didn't know to whom she could turn to. Yet... Turning back to Winter, "I wonder when the feast ends, I'm getting really tired. My nerves are shot!" she said with sigh, puffing the air through one corner of her mouth, as she usually did when tired or frustrated. |

Back in Hogwarts at long last! And on my birthday, too! She cooed to herself, thinking fondly of the cupcake dress and matching wool hat her mother had given her. Gem hoped fervently a dress attire dance would be in order this year. With a beam that dominated her small face, Gem slid in beside Jean Raoul and reached, perhaps too eagerly, for a slice of bread, upsetting a glass of pumpkin juice, its contents dripping off the table. |
Winter looked at Patty and could tell that she was tired and ready to go lay down. "The feast will be over after the headmistress makes her speech. Then we can go to our dorms and pass out." Winter said with a smile. |
Lillianna walked over to patty. "Hello, my name is Lillianna I'm a second year at hogwarts and I'm trying to become a prefect in my fifth year. If you need anything at all just find me or owl me." |
Melinda bit her lip and slowly turned around to see Chris. "Oh...yeah...I can remember that..." She said, teasing. She bit her lip and smiled. She quickly hugged him, but before walking away, she whispered, "I so wish I could give you a kiss on that cheek..." She took a step back and smiled wide to Chris. |

"Thanks. It does get tough at times especially during holidays like christmas. I light a candle each for my parents for an hour on Christmas, their birthdays, Mother's Day and Father's Day and I just talk like their standing in the room. It helps me cope," she said. Edie beamed when Ebony said she'd like to meet Minty. "Minty's a short-haired cat. When we head up to our dormitory you can meet him," she said with a smile. Edie raised her goblet as well and grinned. "I'll drink to that," she said as she took a sip. |

"My favorite subject by far has been Charms. I love to make things happen! How about you?" |
Angie; Evs; As Evolette passed the Ravenclaw table on her way over to join the Slytherins, she caught sight of the girl that she had met in Florean's at Diagon Alley. She could just walk away and ignore her, but Evolette McKenna was only a snob to ugly people, and this girl had nice shoes. "Ah, Willow." she greeted, tucking her dark curls behind her ear, "Nice to see you again." She wasn't wearing the cute shoes today, but the ones she was wearing would do. |
Angie & Colle Gav made his way through crowds of little second years and giggly girls. Rolling his eyes, he pushed past anyone and everyone who was in his way - aiming for the Ravenclaw Table. He thought Sammy might be over there - since he hasn't seen Sam, or Sabrina, or Issy or anyone for a long time. And it was making him angry since all he wanted to do was fool around for his last year. Stopping at the table, Gavin caught sight of Willow. Great. But she was talking to a Slytherin girl. A pretty girl. Gav gave a smirk. He couldn't pass up the opportunity to get back at her for what she did and said to him on the train. Girls just didn't talk to Gavin Lupe like that. "Well, well, well," Gav cooed as he stood next to the Slytherin girl. "Willow actually has friends?" He blinked, then narrowed his eyes at the girl. "Tell me - why would you even consider talking to this snob?" There. He said it. Making a face at Willow - a childish gesture - he refrained from sticking his tongue out, too. This was war. Well. Alls fair in love and war, anyway. Heh heh. |

Willow, focused only in her food, was trying to tune out all the noise that the males all around the Ravenclaw table were producing along side the few females. Beasts more than human beings, teenagers could be sometimes. So loud, so messy, with no table manners. . . The girl shuddered lightly at the thought of this. She would have to send a letter to father to complain about this. Maybe he could speak to Rae and convince her to set up a class where people could learn how to consume their aliments properly, without looking like complete and utter animals? Maybe. The fourteen year old made a mental note to do this first thing in the morning. Momentarily distracted by the sound of an unfamiliar voice --though something told her that this voice should be familiar, somehow-- the girl lifted her head to see who the voice's owner was, and realized that it was that girl from the Ice Cream Parlour. What was her name, again? Laurette? Paulette? ... Evolette. Right. It'd better be Evolette, at least. She was not good with names, to be honest. "Evolette," Greeted Willow rather pleasantly. She was a bit surprised to see her there, though. "It is nice to see you again, as well. How have you been?" As far as Willow knew, she did not have any kind of problem with this girl, so she could be polite. Besides, it was obvious that the girl thought the same, for she would not be there if that wasn't the case. Just when the fourteen year old was going to ask Evolette to take a seat another voice interrupted them. This time, Willow did not have to look up to see who it was. She knew that voice only too well. Unfortunately. "I know you are a self centered idiot with a very little intelligence, Gavin, but I would have pegged you for someone that knew where his own table was, at least," replied Willow bleakly, ignoring his comment without looking up to see him. Idiot. |

Thud. Oh great. This was humiliating, and outrageously so. Jean Raoul struggled into a more upright position, though his feet remained on the bench and nearly on the same level as his head. “What ‘appened?” he asked, trying to peer over the top of the table to see what had caused the sudden flood of pumpkin juice over the side. Hopefully spills such as this did not happen at every meal. Or better yet, hopefully they happened less than once a month. Though trusting the French boy’s luck, he would be present every time something spilled. Drawing his wand, Jean Raoul was finally able to pull his feet off the bench so he could scramble to his feet. He glanced across the table, pleased to see there was not much pumpkin juice to spread in directions other than his own. Which meant less pumpkin juice to clean up. He quickly vanished the remaining pumpkin juice, adding a cleaning spell for extra aid in removing the stickiness, especially from his seat. Then he turned to address the recent arrival, the girl. “Pardon me, mademoiselle,” the seventh year said calmly, wanting to instill a sense of guilt in the girl without seeming rude. “I hope none of this spilled pumpkin juice reached your robes? That would truly be a tragedy, and I would be moved to punish whoever was responsible for the spill.” Jean Raoul smiled gently, not wanting to seem threatening. After all, this girl probably was a Ravenclaw, so there was a chance she would sense what he was implying. |

Hugging her back and laughing "Yes, I was. It's still good to see you though!" |
"I hope to do better this year...last...I was so negative...that...I barely gave points and attended classes..." Melinda confessed and shrugged. |
Angie; Evs; Evolette smiled at the girl, she seemed not to mind Evolette's company, which did not phase her really, she always knew people loved to be around beautiful people. "I've been quite wonderful." she replied, of course, Evolette was always wonderful, so no surprise there. Her blue eyes drifted onto the boy who had suddenly approached them, it was quite obvious from Willow's tone of voice that she did not like him, or rather, Evolette suspected, wanted him to dig a hole and bury himself in it. She listened to him carefully, her eyes searching out every inch of his face. She had not found Willow to be a snob. But, then again, she had only spoken to her once. How delightful it would be if she were a snob. Usually Evolette was good at reading first impressions, but she could not figure out this boy. "If you would consider one meeting to make a friendship." she replied smoothly, "But I have come to find that first impressions are not exactly correct." she regarded him carefully, her eyes steady, ready to take whatever he was to dish out, as she was sure by the way that he was acting, he was not an easy one to please. |
"I myself think I should pay better attention." Liz laughed. "I think I did ok on the exams but I missed a lot of questions on the homework during the year..." |
