Maura tipped her head back. "Uuaaaaggghhhhh. I am going to hate flowers for the rest of my life," she said jokingly. she followed Patty's gaze to the staff table. "Yes, but I'm sure we'll get used to them in time," she said. |

Oooh. Already Issy had decided she liked this boy, for the mischievous glint in his eyes and the way he smiled. And he was rather cute, she decided, with pretty blue eyes that were very… well, pretty. Eyes that one could easily fall into, at the very least, which made her feel very foolish and silly. His hair, too, she noticed, was nice. Issy quite liked boy hair and often felt the urge to play with it. Forcing herself to turn to Willow, she ducked her head in slight shame and nodded, a small grin curling on her lips, whether a lingering swoon directed to the boy or a happiness for seeing Willow, she couldn’t be for certain. Perhaps it was a combination of the both, for her cheeks hadn’t yet lost their patchy pinkness. “Just a bit late,” she noted, glancing over at the boy, up through her lashes. He was teasing, she knew, in a playful sort, and it only made her lips pucker in attempt to ward off another grin. “Sure it’s only a couple odd hours? I was thinking I surely must’ve been out for a good five hours.” Did she bat her lashes? Issy might have fluttered her lashes at the boy. “I figured a fashionably late entrance had to be the best of them all, yes?” Coyly, she rose her shoulders, smiling. Flirting was second nature to Issy and suddenly, with all these boys around, Issy found it wasn’t exactly THAT hard to keep her mind off Samson. Except that he was still there, at the back. As she glanced around the Great Hall and spoke, she found her eyes scanning around for Samson. Thus far, she hadn’t caught sight of him and, though she tried to pretend it hadn’t, her stomach kind of plummeted. Against her will, Issy was quite desperately missing Samson, possibly more so because she was trying to push him out of her life. “Pleasure to meet you,” she told the boy, trying to change the topic of her mind. “I’m Isabella Cortella, but everyone just calls me Issy.” Insert charming smile here. |

“Erm… no apology is necessary, mademoiselle,” he said politely. “And I am quite fine.” Well… now he was standing there, towering over the table and looking quite ridiculous. He quickly sat back down on the bench, in his seat next to the girl. The girl whose name he did not know… oh, that was a problem. But an easily curable problem, nonetheless. “I’m terribly sorry, but I don’t believe I know your name. Mine is Jean Raoul,” he said, his accent causing the entire statement to flow together. “Jean Raoul Devereux, that is.” |

Jason came over with a wet rag with soap on it. Jason cleaned Patricia's robe. " There you are for right now" Jason told Patricia. He left the RwavenClaw table. |

Willow! What a beast! She was such a snob and that other girl - whoever she was - was irritating him. Last year - he could get kicked out and go join the aliens. He opened his mouth to snap at the two of them - but closed it when Vindictus came over. Great. Shooting a glare at Willow, silently blaming her for involving this professor, then folded his arms across his chest as he stared at Vidictus. He remembered back at the boys school how Gav got points taken away for what - a twisted tie? Gimme a break. And here Willow was making up stories! About him getting lost! God forbid, he wasn't that dumb. Oh, he'll get back at her. Just wait. "No, I'm not lost," Gavin flashed a look at Willow, although speaking to Vindictus. "Willow's just making up stories to get me in trouble." Idiot. "I was looking for Samson," Gav added, then froze when they both demanded an apology. Him - apologize to HER? No way! Gavin doesn't do apologies! But wait... Gavin had to go back to his table? Nuh-huh. He wasn't going back to those losers. "Apologize to her?" Gavin more-or-less yelped. "What for? I didn't do anything!" Willow was the one starting it by making up stories of how lost he was. Plus, all he did was greet her. Man, was she high and mighty. |

Asteira had spaced out there for a few minutes as she came back to catch that everyone was talking about houses and quidditch. Not before Elizabeth explained the unfortunate events of last years school change. Quidditch was alright for her, but you werent going to get her near a broom. She wasn't one to be floating in mid air with nothing but air between you and the ground. It was a disaster waiting to happen. |
Jason walked back to The RavenClaw table." You welcome Patricia" Jason told her. |

Jason sees the girl talking to Patricia. " I know Patricia, but I like to get to know you" jason told her. "What is your name?" Jason asked her. "My name is Jason Potter Weasley." he said to the girl. |
Sela took her seat and stared around at the Great Hall in amazement. She had spent the better part of the train ride there trying to picture what Hogwarts would look like outside of the books, and it definitely did not disappoint. Everything that was impossible before now happened all the time. Looking up and down the table, she already saw members from the other houses walking up to talk with old friends. She recounted everything that had happened since the morning; going to the magical train by walking through a wall, watching others cast spells in the other compartments, departing to see carriages moving of their own accord, crossing the lake, being sorted into Ravenclaw... She doubted anything bad could happen at all. |
