Livvy smiled. "Toshi's words are true. Now stop worrying," she said, laughing.

"Great, thanks Toshi. You? I haven't seen you around before. How did you and Rachel meet?" Livvy asked

Rachel's mood lightened up considerably and she smiled. She took Cloudy and put him on her lap, stroking him. I'll let Toshi explain how we met... she thought, laughing to herself.

Toshi blushed and looked over to Rachel.
"Errrm....It was like.....erm....Well, I was sitting at the Ravenclaw-Table in the Great Hall to have breakfast. And...well I tried to let a milk-jug fly towards me with Wingardium Leviosa, but well, my spell wasn`t really good, so it crashed down onto the table, and it spilled milk all over Rachel. That`s how we met.", he said and blushed again.

Rachel smiled encouragingly at him, and burst out laughing after he finished is story. "Aww Toshi, it's ok," she said, noticing the blush. She hugged him tightly and continued, "I'm really glad that you did, otherwise I would never have gotten to know what a great person you are."

Toshi beamed at her happily, still blushing, and hugged her back. He sniggered.
"Your great too, Rachel!" He was really happy to have a friend like Rachel.
He took her and Livvy`s hand and dragged them out of the corner they had been sitting in and sat down on the sofa with both of them.
This was much more comfortable than sitting on the ground, and the fireplace was really warm.
He looked up at the beautifully painted ceiling and closed his eyes, still smiling.

Jenn smiled. "It's o.k. Now that I think about it, it is funny."Jenn said giggling. Jenn smiled. "I'm a first year."Jenn said proadly.

Rachel was startled to find herself dragged over to the couches. "Um, thanks but you could have just asked," she said laughing. "This is a lot more comfortable though!"
"Thanks Toshi, that really means a lot to me," she said quietly. It really did mean a lot to her.

"Sorry, that I didn`t ask!" he said, but when Rachel laughed, he grinned.
He pulled out his wand. Now that his wrist was healed, maybe his Wingardium-Leviosa-Charm would work better?
He pointed his wand, at one of his textbooks, which was lying on the table and said loudly: "Wingardium Leviosa!" The book flew into the air. He laughed relieved.
He let it zoom through the whole Room and started to play with Rachels cat, letting the book fly infront of its nose.

Rachel smiled when he started playing with her cat, and noticed with some amusement that he was executing the spell successfully. "I see that you finally mastered the spell. And his name is Cloudy, by the way. I got him this summer, and I absolutely adore him!"

"Yeah, he`s really cute!", Toshi said and stroked Cloudy`s head.
He smiled at Rachel and at that moment, the textbook fell down, because he didnt pay attention to his spell, directly into the fire.

He stared at the fireplace. "Aww...fudgeee....".

Livvy laughed. "Wow... you're quite clumsy," she said, snickering. They were soon pulled onto the couch. Well it certainly was more comfortable. Livvy snorted when the textbook flew into the fire. "Uh-oh. I hope that textbook wasn't important," she said, chuckling.

Rachel smiled back at him and thanked him for his compliment. She suddenly heard the sound of something falling, which was followed by sparks flying. She looked at the fire and saw the textbook in it, slowly burning. Rachel burst out laughing, inspite of herself "Sorry sorry, that's not funny!" she said, trying to control her laughing. "Er, you can share my book if you want..."
She chuckled along with Livvy, and said, "Livs, how could you? Any textbook is important!"

Ludo walked into the common room after a full day of classes. He'd roamed the halls, done his homework, and finally had a moment of peace.

Not seeing any of his friends his age in the room, he pulled a chair up by the window. Ludo took out a wizard mystery he'd brought from home and began reading by the white light brought on from the moon outside.
Several younger students chatted by the fire and he watched as a textbook flew into the flames.

Ludo sighed at this sight and shook his head ever so slightly. He hated the sight of a destroyed book. Clutching his book a little harder he read on into the night.

Glancing around Amy noticed her big blue over stuffed chair free of occupation. She allowed a small smile to escape as she walked over and practically collapsed down into the soft cushions. Aww, she thought for a brief moment as she suddenly started to feel comfortable once again.

She leaned forward allowing her bag to fall to the ground as she looked up noticing the beautiful scenery just outside the window. Then she shook her head slightly as if clearing it of her desires. You really need to do your homework, she found herself thinking.

Livvy snickered and shrugged. "I'm sorry. But some are just... there!" she said, laughing. "Good luck, mate. 'Course which one was that? I may have an extra copy. I do that sometimes," Livvy said.

Laylee couldnt respond to that either. It was hard to lie to Maura, well at least she made it hard! She always knew when she was! Darn that Maura!
Laylee sunk into the back of her chair as she said "more than a friendship", and instead of looking happy, like she felt, she looked frightened, which was another feeling that was creeping inside her.
Laylee gave her a weak smile.

She sat quietly as a young boy walked up and began talking to Maura.
Maura seemed to know him, so Laylee let them talk.

Laylee smiled. Jenn was sweet. "So Jenn, how do you like Hogwarts so far?" She asked. She could only imagine the buzzing going on in all the first year, and second years minds! It was their first times at Hogwarts! How exciting for them!

Rachel had to laugh. It was true. "Why do you have extra copies? Isn't that a bit of a waste?" she asked, confused. Even she didn't have two copies of the same book; she just had tons of other books all related to the same subject, but that's different.

Livvy shrugged. "True. But for some reason the people gave me another copy of some books, and I decided just to go along with it. Don't want the poor people fired. I'll probably just donate the copies to the library. I'm sure Madam Kohan will be delighted," she said, laughing softly.

"Oh yes. She'll be ecstatic! Why not add to the library that has enough books to fill a mansion to the brim?" she said sarcastically. "But that's actually a good idea!"

Livvy grinned and ignored Rachel's sarcasm. She just shrugged. She rolled her eyes. "Of course it's a good idea. So Toshi. Tell me what book it is. I may have it," she said, grinning.

Maura looked away from James to glance at Laylee. She frowned. "Hey, hey, what's with the scared face?" she said. "Laylee! Don't be afraid of your feelings. He's probably crazy about you. What I said...when we were fighting...about him having another girlfriend...that is not true, don't believe it for a second! Chin up, Laylee." She hugged Laylee, trying to cheer her up. She still felt terrible about what she had said about Chandan.

Laylee started laughing as Maura overreacted and hugged her to death! "Hahaha, Im just worried that I wont be.... good at it...." She said awkwardly. She smiled weakly and blushed.

Jenn smiled. "I love it! The outdoors are so wonderful here."Jenn said laughing. Of coarse it was also messy for her.

"Laylee," said Maura impatiently. "You're a beginner! I doubt he's any better than you are at this! You can experiment together. Here's what you have to do." She sat up a little straighter. "The next time you see him, say you have to talk to him. I don't care if you want to shrivel up and die from embarrassment, you just have to tell him how you feel about him! From what I gather, he likes you too. It won't be the end of the world." Here she was, telling someone three years older than her how to deal with romance! How absurd. Oh well.

James entered the common room and sat on a couch.
