Cassie walked up to the Ancient Runes Professor's office, knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

On his way back to his office, Fabian spotted two students lingering outside. "Hello! I'm actually busy at the moment, if you don't mind dropping by after class?" unlocking the door, he grabbed the thick book placed on the nearest shelf and locked the door again. "Class will start as soon as i return. See you there!"

Hailey walked cautiously to the door but straightened herself up and knocked lightly but loud at the same time. She sighed and stepped to the side, hoping that the professor was in his office.

Xehanna walked up to the professor's door and knocked lightly. "Professor? I have a question about the homework." she said as she peekd through the open door. "How do we distinguish when to use Eihwaz and Ehwaz? she asked witha confused look on her face.

"Good luck. I've been waiting for around an hour." Hailey said sighing.

At the sight of congregating students Fabian hurried to his office, "Thank you for waiting" he murmured unlocking the door, "please come in, what can I do for you?"

Theo scuffed his little trainers on the floor as he plucked up the courage to knock on the door. He pulled on his rucksack straps, and took a deep breath. He had left Buzz in his bedroom, he was feeling a bit more grown up without him. He had Eddie on his shoulder though. His faithful little bat, had grown a bit since their time at Hogwarts, but he was still only small.

He took another deep breath, and then knocked on the door. His little knuckles collided with wood, providing a tiny bang. At least he didn't trip and fall this time. He wouldn't like to get to know another Professor that way. Especially when this guy used to be Daddy's boss.

Fabian observed Mr. Newtington knocking on his door when it was wide open, giving him benefit of the doubt he smiled at Slytherin. "Come in Newtington, what can I do for you?"

Theo looked at the floor as Mr Clark called him Newtington. He had never been called that before and it made him feel like he was being told off. "I only wanted to come and say hello, Sir," he whimpered slightly, "But I didn't want to interrupt anyfing you were doing. So I knocked. My Daddy always tells me to knock. It is polite you see." He smiled, looking up at the much taller man.

"Uhh... Yes" he replied with a raised brow, "your daddy is right. Fine manners and etiquette are the signs of good upbringing". Was this Theodore's younger son? He peaked down at him curiously for a moment, sizing him up. "Sure, have a seat lad. Want some lemonade.. or" he looked around his office then back, "lemonade is all I've got so far".

Theo smiled at the big man, and attempted to clamber onto a chair. He shook his head, as he seemed to be lying sideways on the chair. An odd position to sit on. "No fank you Sir. My mummy says dat lemonade is bad for me. She says it makes me bouncy. And dat isn't very good. I am not allowed to eat when it is not meal time eivver." He was very good at listening to his parents. "My daddy said dat you are a very nice man. And I should come and visit you."

"I see" Fabian murmured taking a seat himself by young Theodore, well he didn't really see. How does an acidic drink like lemonade make him bouncy? Poor kid, what about snacks? Candy? "Your daddy is a nice man too, it makes me glad he asked you to drop by" Fabian smiled, " Tell me, what else makes you bouncy? So i take it you never have snacks?"

Theo made his way onto the chair properly and smiled at the Professor. "I only drink milk. I sometimes have chocolate powder in it, but dat is only when I am wiv my grandmummy. She doesn't tell my mummy dough," he giggled. "I have cookies, when mummy makes them. And they are warm from da oven. But I don't normally have ovver fings. Cept at Christmas. I am allowed a bag of Fizzing Whizbees. And same on my birfday."

"I fink Daddy misses you at work. He has to do it all himself now dat mummy got promoted."

Both of Fabian's brows shot up, how can a kid survive this long without a decent supply of candy or sugar? He smoothed his face before smiling again, "I guess its healthier to not ruin your appetite between meals, so I take it you eat well during lunch and dinner yeah?"

"Really? What does your mother do now?" he asked curiously, "I miss your daddy too. Send him my regards the next time you speak with him".

"I eat lots of mashy tatoe. Dat is my favrit," Theo smiled, swinging his little legs under the chair. "And mummy lets me have some icey cream. But not alot dough." He played with his fingers as he talked. "I eat til I am full. But dat won't be as much as you or Daddy eats. My daddy eats lots and lots."

"My mummy is da Head of Patents or somefing. She used to be his Secretary." He nodded, "I will tell him. I am going to send him a message wiv Nia's owl when I have played Quidditch. He will be really eccited dat I will have played."

"I'm sure he would! Heck I'd be excited if i had a son making it to the Quidditch team" he grinned and ruffled the boy's head, "I bet he has your name down for Quidditch teams already".

"I remember" he recalled his mother at the department of sports, "your mother is very beautiful. Hard to miss. Lovely lady" he resisted ruffling the lad's hair again. "It's better for her, this promotion. She has more chances now".

"He didn't fink I would play Quidditch dough. He trained Nia not me. And he broughted her a broom. I gotted some new shoes dough. Dey are velcro, and have Buzz Lightyear on dem," he smiled. He giggled as the Professor ruffled his hair. "He might want me to play like he did. But I fink I want to be a space man."

"My daddy sent me a message a few days ago. And he said dat we are getting a baby. But Mr Drago said, dat when you get new babies dat da smallest one is made to go away, cos dere isn't enough room for dem. But I don't want to go away," he said, rather scared. He didn't like the idea of having to go on a compost heap, and waiting there for the other plants to eat him.

Xehanna looked at the girl confused, her eyes turning light purple. "Really? wow i didnt think it would be that long." she shrugged. "I'm Xehanna btw." she said smiling at the girl.


Xehanna walked in the door and smiled at the professor. "Hi professor. i was wondering How you know when to use Eihwaz and Ehwaz?" she asked curiously.

"I see" he replied trying to remember an elder sister to this boy, but no memory called for her. "Uhhh..." he struggled not sure where the boy got those ideas from, why would he be shunted out? "I doubt your mother would want you to go away either. Don't take it to heart too much" he smiled encouragingly at the boy. Bless him, he was so small.


"Hello there" Fabian nodded popping up a piece of parchment and quill over the table, "the differece is fairly simple". He wrote both words down:

'Eihwaz' and by its side 'Ehwaz'


"The first, Eihwaz is to be used for the letter E that is followed by an I. Quite the same in it's Runic composition where the word is written as an E followed by an I" he looked up at the student, "the latter - Ehwaz is used for the letter E only".

"But Mr Drago did it with plants. He said you had to take away da small ones. Cos dere isn't enough room for dem. And dere isn't enough room for me as well if dere is a new baby." Theo whimpered. He really didn't want to go away. He was very happy. "But dey might want a new baby cos I am too small. One dat is da right size, like Nia. She is da proper size, and I am older den her. Only by a few minutes, but I am still older. And alot smaller."

Xehanna watched him explain. "ooooh okay i get it. thanks professor. that helped a lot." she said smiling and bouncing out the door.

Savannah almost hesitated, approaching the open door she could hear voices inside. One clearly Professor Clark, and another smaller one she assumed to be a student. Just go she mentally pushed herself, putting a smile on as she stepped forward and raised a hand she balled up to knock on the wood surface, wanting to make sure her presence was known before setting a foot inside; She didn't want to just barge in, whether the door was open or not. "Hello Professor," She greeted with a polite wave of her hand, deciding to wait before saying anything else.

Rapunzel had nodded, feeling like she understood Ella's description a little more, and then she led the way to Professor Clark's office.

"Aiight, so, let's get the story straight before you lead the way in," Punz muttered, hovering a good distance away from their professor's office. "You found this...thing....at the edge of the Forbidden Forest, saw something invisible moving around, hid it by the swimming rock, and we just want to know what it is, right?"

For some reason, the weird humming object was making Rapunzel nervous and she tended to babble when nervous. "You can lead the way in, dear Ella," she added at the end of her ramble, patting her friend on the shoulder. Heheh.

Ella walked in with Zel and halted outside Professor Fabian Clark's office. Her right hand protected the chiming object insde her robes. She nodded, "Yes..and whenever the object make noise, there was some moments around the place...." she whispered back and gently knocked the office door.

"There is no trace of voices inside, Zel," she placed her ear on the door, observing curiously, then pouted, "I dunno where he's! let's wait for sometime.." she said and leaned against the wall, thinking, "Do you think he'll add this to the School properties?" she doubted, flashed a smile at Zel.

Rapunzel nodded, fidgeting with a loose thread on her robes, and put it in her memory to recall exactly what El said. "Okay, got it."

She waited as her friend knocked on the Professor's door. "Ohhhkay, I can wait," Punz said, leaning against the wall as well. "I dunno what he'll do with it...but he'll probably want to take it and examine it...and since you did find it on the school grounds...." She trailed off into a shrug. "Why, were you hoping to keep it or something?"
