A utilitarian desk with a light finish sits in the center of the office, slightly closer to the front than to the back. There are a couple of comfortable chairs in front of the desk and a matching but, more worn, chair on the other side where the professor sits. The desk is covered in messy stacks of parchment, ink stains, quills, books, and potions paraphernalia. The walls are floor to ceiling covered in bookshelves, just as disheveled as the desk, were mostly filled with books pushed back to the wall and potions supplies precariously placed in front of them on the edge of the shelf. "Nothing wrong with a bit of fun but, I do expect students to be attentive during class, yes," he chuckled. "And whilst I do have a formal amount of work to get you through, I do hope it won't be overly formal and boring."

Rachel walked up to the door, relieved. She didn't like the dungeons one bit - How on earth do the Slytherins survive? She knocked on the door, waiting to be let in. She had really enjoyed the last lesson, and had wanted to talk to the professor because he had seemed really cool.

Rachel snapped out of her day dreaming when she noticed someone else there. She smiled at him too, then realised who it was. "You're Nicolai, right? Cela's brother?" she asked. She already kind of knew the answer, but it was polite to ask. She smirked slightly when he cleaned the wall before leaning on it. Good idea, wish I knew that spell!
