Maddox sat down next to penny, and close by astrid. He winked at Astrid as he sat down then poked penny's side. He smiled and looked up at the professor. "Hello Professor Dumont!" He pulle dout his book, some parchment and a quill.

Oh, good. Nancy really hoped this lesson was going to be interesting. It would be quite a distraction from the other lessons, like Herbology or History of Magic. Her face fell slightly at the thought of these two subjects and a frown crept across her face as she realized that she hadn't even started doing her homework. Meh.

Slowly making her way towards one of the desk in the middle of the classroom Nancy heard someone calling her name. Her blue eyes flashed towards a girl who was already seated in one of the desks near the one she had been heading to. "Hey, Meredith." She smiled at the younger Ravenclaw girl.

"Good morning, Qaz," Antonio said. "We'll get started in a few minutes."

Isabella saw Jenn sit a seat over from her. She hoped this would not end up being awkward with everything happening with Biff. "Hi Jenn. Excited about today's lesson?" She asked with a smile.

Penny smiled at Mads when he sat down. "Good morning to you." she said when he poked her. She reached in to her bag and pulled out her quill, parchment and book.

Jenn looked away from the thing and smiled up at Isabella. "Hey!"she said excitedly. "You know it! I love this class! Muggles are soo, interesting."she said, thoughtfully. "You want to sit with me?"she asked.

Miles hurried into the classroom and quickly took a seat at the front. He was eager to learn some muggle things today. Yipee!

Qaz blushed and replied, 'Good Morning, Professor'

Isabella smiled, grabbed her things and moved to sit next to Jenn. "Sure. Thanks. I just hope class begins soon. After this I have so much homework to catch up on." She said as she opened the book again. "It looks to be a very interesting lesson though."

Jenn nodded. "Me too."she said smiling at Isabella. "Really? I don't. I'm so happy about that."she said. Jenn nodded in agreement.

"Yes, sadly it looks as though I shall be spending a lot of time in the library later. Although the homework in here is often quite simple so hopefully it won't take me too long." She said as she read through the book. "I wonder what the lesson plan for the day is."

Jenn smiled. "Maybe I'll come with you. I finished my book that I checked out yesterday, maybe I'll get another one."she said thoughtfully. Jenn shrugged. "Dunno."she said, flipping through the book.

"Hello, Miles," Antonio greeted. "We are going to go ahead and get started, students. This is a very special end of term lesson, there will be homework posted at the end, of course, but there is going to be something else at the end of this lesson that I think you all might - enjoy." Antonio said the last word slowly, teasingly. So, there are only going to be 6 questions for the lesson part itself, then I'll post the homework and let all of you move on to the other thing." He laughed.

So, I have provided a textbook for each of you. As usual I will award 3 points to the first person who answers the question correctly and 1 point to each person who gets the answer correct after that. All your points will be added in later, as will your homework, of course.

On to the first question. We are dealing today with traveling carnivals, some of you might have heard of those before or maybe even visited one. So, do any of you know exactly what a traveling carnival is? How would you describe it?"

"Sounds good. I haven't really read any books in the library other than required reading. I have an extensive collection in my dorm. My problem is that I start reading a book and can't stop. I end up reading all night or until I finish the book, whichever happens first." She laughed. "Do you know how final exams will work?" She asked.

Isabella raised her hand and stated. "A traveling carnival is an amusement show that may be made up of amusement rides, food vendors, merchandise vendors, games of chance and skill, thrill acts, animal acts or sideshow curiosities. It is not set up at a permanent location, like an amusement park, and is moved from place to place."

Astrid looked down at her textbook and raised her hand when she found the right information. "A traveling carnival is an amusement show that may be made up of amusement rides, food vendors, merchandise vendors, games of chance and skill, thrill acts, animal acts or sideshow curiosities. A traveling carnival is not set up at a permanent location, like an amusement park, and is moved from place to place."

At the professor's mentioning of the textbook Nancy's eyes fell on the book in front of her and her fingers started to flip through the pages in search for the answer to Professor Dumont's question. Raising her hand she finally said, "Uhm, it's like an amusement park of some sorts and it's moving from place to place."

"Hello, sir." Miles greeted back with a smile. He then raised his hand. "A Carnival is amusement show that may be made up of amusement rides, food vendors, merchandise vendors, games of chance and skill, thrill acts, animal acts or sideshow curiosities. So basically, a fun place." He beamed.

Barrys hand shot up he had been to one once well he thought so if he was right. " A traveling carnival is an amusement show that may be made up of amusement rides, food vendors, merchandise vendors, games of chance and skill, thrill acts, animal acts or sideshow curiosities and prety much like a amusment park apart from the fact that it has no perminent location and is moved after a little while hence is where the traveling part comes from" said Barry hoping he was correct ravenclaws were never here

Maddox winked and turned his attention to the professor whom had just asked the first question.

Ross raised his hand and said "A traveling carnival is very much like an amusement park when it comes to the rides but a traveling carnival never stays in the same place forever instead it finds a piece of land were they can set up which is usually a field and leave after a short period of time"
