As soon as Anna had eaten, she walked on a little further and entered the games area. The first thing she noticed was the petting zoo. Anna smiled in excitement, making a mental note to definitely go and visit the animals. She highly doubted she'd come across any crups, kneazles, hippogriffs, thestrals, or anything of the sort, but it'd be interested to see what sorts of animals muggles liked to see and pet. Anna glanced around and took in all the other sights. The spray-on tattoo booth looked fun! Wonder if it'd be okay to return to the Common Room tonight with "Cale" sprayed artistically across her ankle? Hmmm... Anna smiled shiftily and headed right on over to that booth.

" I will give darts a try but you are probably better than me" Biff told Jess.
" Yes, Muggle studies is hard for me because I am a pureblood" he told Jess." Well, thanks for the kind words but if I cabn sing anyone can sing" he told her. " How about you sing and I will be the only one in the auidience and you are probably beyyrt than you think" Biff explained to Jess.

Jess started a darts game. She got a balloon down from the first try. The girl jumped of joy. She then told Biff: "Come on, it's your turn!" and waited for him to throw.

"I see. But Muggle Studies is nevertheless fun." Jess answered. "No, I don't think so!" the girl laughed. "I'm not going to sing!" she exclaimed.

Melinda walked off the karaoke machine. It was worthless. Her voice was dead for now. It, and was always going to be the fact that she was going to leave sooner or later.

She took steps, quiet steps towards the petting zoo. As soon as she entered, a puppy ran to her feet. In amazement she took the animal in her hands and lifted it. She smiled. "You are such...a cutie..." She said and smiled even wider. She walked towards a bench to sit with the puppy still in her hands. While she petted it, she glanced at the other animals.

Karma walked into the carnival type thing that was taking place in the Muggle Studies section. She craned her neck to look at everything and saw people enjoying themselves with the games. She smiled, and saw a girl sitting down by herself with a puppy at the petting zoo. "Oooh!" she squeaked, and walked over to them and sat next down to a fellow Ravenclaw. "It's so cute!"

Karma, a fellow Ravenclaw, ran to sit with Mel and the puppy. Melinda looked surprised at the girl, yet with a smile through her face. "I know.." She answered, "...so bad, that I can't have a puppy at home because Jade is allergic to them..." She commented as she kept petting the animal.

"Aw that would be so sad," Karma said. She looked around at all the other animals to see if there was another puppy around anywhere. Sure enough, a tiny little puppy came stumbling over to her. "Oh come here little guy..." she said, reaching for him. Scooping the puppy up, she looked at Mel. "Look, maybe they're brother and sister," she said, comparing the two.

Melinda looked at Karma. She took another puppy and seemed so excited to have one. She giggled and then according to Karma's comment, she held the puppy in her hands besides Karma's. "Yeah..." She only said that, it was exciting to know that some people have whole families, even animals.

Karma looked at Melinda's expression on her face. There was something that she was missing here, something that Mel had on her mind. She looked at her straight in the eyes for a moment to see if she could find out what exactly it was. Emptiness? she thought, but she's always seemed happy... Karma looked back down at the puppy and then thought of her question. "Is there something wrong? You look sort of sad."

Odd.

This didn't feel like a class.

But he was supposed to be in a class, so... Raiden put down his bag, which he'd had draped over his shoulder, and started to explore. There were all sorts of strange things about. He'd never seen some of them before, even having been around muggles since he was little.

He focused particularly on the dart game. Popping balloons? But balloons were meant to be enjoyed! Still... he picked up one of the pointy darts and, closing his right eye and poking his tongue out the corner of his mouth, he took aim and tossed it.

POP!

...oooh. That was fun.

Biff threw, he missed the first shot. "Got me, didn't you?" Biff laughed. "Well Jess, you are still going down" he laughed even harder teasing her. "Well, if I can throw darts but you do not want to try to sing, is this really fair? Biff asked teasing Jess like a sister." I will be finishing my Muggle studies final in a couple of days" Biff told her.

Oh...no, she catched it. "Umm..." Melinda made the hum and turned around. "I..." She hesitated, what wrong will do to say, she didn't have the real family and that soon, she would have to leave to see her real grandmother just because the woman was so possessive with her, and be apart from the ones she loved?

"I...well, when I see this puppies, that are alike...I think of my family, my missing brother and sister and that soon, I will have to leave Hogwarts because my real grandma says I'm better off with her than with Jade, my foster mum..." She commented and took the puppy in her hands to hug it tight.

Karma nodded, understanding the sadness that came with experiencing losing someone and to be taken away from things. She listened to what Mel had to say, she shifted the puppy slightly to keep the little one warm. He rolled into a ball in her arms, and rested its head on Karma's arm, facing Mel. "I think you should have a choice in this situation though," she said. "Don't you have any say in what happens to you?"

Melinda looked at Karma. She was being so understanding and Melinda appreciated that from people around her. She nodded her head when Karma mentioned her choices in that situation. "I have one...if I don't like staying with grandma...I can come back to England any time...but I doubt she will let me come back and I know the reason...she's gonna try to set me up with a boy and...you know the rest..." She said, totally making the situation turn into a joke.

Karma made a face at being set up with a boy. "Blind dates are the worst..." she said, laughing slightly. "My mutter tried doing that with me a few years ago, before she died." She frowned slightly at herself for mentioning her mom's death. It happens, she reminded herself. "But would he be a Muggle or a wizard? Because if he's a wizard then you could just use magic on him if you wanted..." She laughed, hoping Melinda would notice that she wasn't being entirely serious.

"I know...the last time I was with her, she set me up with this guy, Daniel...he was good looking, but I was so crushed by that moment by my present boyfriend, Chris.." Melinda mentioned and smiled wide. Chris was the best thing happening to her at the moment, adding that Mel had the best friends.

When Karma mentioned her mum had died, Melinda gasped, slightly did it. "OH...I'm so sorry..." She said and patted her shoulder.

Melinda laughed towards the magic she could use. "Nope...Grandma would know...and she loves the boy..." She said and laughed, making a mocking of her grandma when she thought about Daniel.

Karma watched Mel talk about Chris and smiled. She was glad that she had fantastic highlights in her life from here, and it only made Karma want Mel to stay here more. "I used to date a Chris. He was a pain in the butt at the end though," she added rolling her eyes, then laughing. "Well, boys can be a pain." She noticed that Mel had gasped after mentioning her mom and shook her head. "It was expected though - she was always so sick for months on end, and even Muggle doctors couldn't do anything about it. They said it was cancer. I'm just glad she doesn't have to suffer now." She also listened to her talk about the boy her Grandma liked, and smiled. "Oh well, it was worth a shot. I think you'd like my Oma, she's the best."

Melinda listened to Karma with excitement. Another friend, she was sure. "Wow...Chris is the opposite as your ex...he's amazing, so understanding...and cute, of course.." She mentioned and blushed.

"Oh...that is so sad...at least you had your time with your mum...I don't even remember her, she died when I was two..." She said and looked at the puppy that was trying to bit her fingers. She played dodge with it.

"Your Oma...I would be delighted to meet her..." She mentioned and smiled.

Ross finally reached the games section of the carnival which was covered in stacks and stacks of stuffed toy animals. looking at astrid he said "What one do you want me to win you?"

Astrid looked all around at all the different types of game and the prizes to be won. "Let's see, how about that cute little Teddy Bear right there." she said pointing at the ring toss prizes. "And then Ross? Can we go pet the baby animals in the petting zoo when you're done? They are just sooooo sweet."

Helena walked idly through the rows of games and the other students having so much fun. She smiled here and there, but mostly she browsed around and stopped occasionally to determine how muggles had fun with such foolish, immature games.

She stopped for a moment, a little unsure why, before she realized she was in front of a game where you threw darts to pop balloons. She hurried away before anyone could hit their mark, plugging her ears along the way until she was sure she wouldn't be able to hear it if someone did pop a balloon over the dim murmuring of the carnival.

Cale, who had just eaten half of his body weight in caramel apples and funnel cakes, spotted Anna walking over to the spray-on tattoo booth. He slowly walked up behind her just in time to see her getting the word "Cale" sprayed across her ankle. Awwww. He grinned and snuck up behind her, giving her a hug from behind. "I didn't know you liked tattoos," he told her with a grin. "I guess I'm gonna have to get a matching one now," he added, holding out his wrist so he could get "Anna" scripted across his wrist in the same font she had just gotten his name in.

Anna, who'd been grinning at the art she'd just gotten sprayed across her ankle, suddenly felt someone come up from behind her and wrap her up in a big hug. That could only be the arms of one person---a certain male Gryffindor prefect. "Hey, cutie," she said, reaching up behind her and hugging him back. "Are you really going to get a matching one?" she asked, her face lighting up. "How exciting! We should get real tattoos one day just like the ones we're getting now." Anna watched as Cale's wrist was sprayed with her name, just like her ankle was now sprayed with his.
