Behind the mirror is a secret passageway. Unfortunately it doesn't lead anywhere because of a cave in.

Lucas leaned against the glass in the bathroom and it pushed open. His heart started racing at the thought of an adventure. He pulled his green little hardhat out of his bag and put it on his head and turned on the light. He climbed through the hole and went in as far as he could. Then he was suddenly stopped on his way by a bunch of rocks and boulders. His face fell, he wanted to see where the tunnel lead to.

He sat down and pulled out his map and started to draw the bathroom and the tunnel.

Laylee was walking down this corridor on purpose, though she was reading a book so she almost passed her destination. But, as she saw a figure show up beside her she turned and saw herself in the mirror. She hadnt been here for a very long time. This Mirror held a lot of memories.
Suddenly, and much much too late, the charmed voice of Will began speaking about boy troubles, Laylee's boy troubles. Laylee laughed, amazed that it still worked. Though just barely. His voice was hardly heard in the corridor and it stuttered in areas. But, it was still amazing to hear. Laylee clutched her locket he gave her by habbit. She needed to use it soon! She missed the real voice of Will, he was such a great friend. And, of course the memorable Chandan visit here was unforgetable. She missed them both.
As Will's voice faded, talking about cookies, Laylee smiled and slid her reflection to the right. But, when she did she noticed a small boy sitting down with a silly hat on his head, a light attached to it.
"Oh, Im so sorry!" She said. At least he had a light! So many times had Laylee been stumbled on when she sat in the mirror. She was very greatful that she didnt have to experience that again!

Lucas' head swung around with his little light shining down the tunnel into the form of whoever it was that was in there with him. "Oh hello." He said brightly. "I'm just drawing in my map you don't have to leave." He said shining his light on the map in his hands.

Laylee squinted as the light shined momentarily in her eyes, blinding her. She chuckled as the light moved from her to a piece of paper. She guessed the boy was a first year because she had never seen him before, but then again he could be a second year that went to Cooper's school last term.
She took a step in to get a closer look at the map. "So, what all have you discovered in the castle so far?" Laylee asked, intrigued by his adventurousness.
She took a few steps closer to the boy and leant down. "Im Laylee by the way!" She added.

He leaned the map over so she could see what she was doing. "I've been on the seventh floor and in the gardens and by the Whomping Willow." He told her. "Its a big castle and I want to make the best map for Hogwarts." He explained to her. "Hello Laylee. I'm Lucas, Lucas Greenwood." he told her.

"Well it looks like it's going to be a productive map!" Laylee said smiling at the parchment. "A map definately would have helped me in first year! I got lost so many times, and a few times in second year too!" Laylee said truthfully, remembering her horrible experience when she walked in the boys bathroom because of that fact that she couldn't find the ladies room. She had no doubt that if he found all the secrets of the castle and the grounds that it would be the best map of Hogwarts and was hoping to see it when it was finished. "The fun part will be finding everything! Every passage and secret." Laylee said. Adventure and discovery was always exciting to her.
"Nice to meet you Lucas!" Laylee added as he introduced himself.

"It's going to be really nice. I will make copies for everyone." He told her as he patted the uneven ground to offer her a seat. "I hope its going to help everyone. Hogwarts is a big place and I'm having fun exploring it just like Dora does. She goes everywhere and she takes her map with her." He thought about something. "Her map talks! I will make my map talk." he said excitedly. "Its very nice to make your acquaintance Laylee." he told her.

"That sound like a very good idea!" Laylee said truthfully. She took a seat by Lucas, crossing her legs infront of her. "Im sure it will help a ton!" She said looking over the parts of the map that were already finished. Laylee laughed when he talked about Dora! Dora the Explorer! "Thats a good comparison!" She said laughing again. "You actually can make your talk! Ha, imagination becomes reality!" Laylee said with a grin.

"I think its one the best ides that I've had." He told her honestly. He smiled when she sat down with him. "I like to be helpful. My mommy said you should help people all the time." He said with authority. He mommy was right about everything. "I love Dora she gets to go on adventures everywhere. I may have to get my mommy to help with the charm but I will make talk." He told her.

He nodded in agreement to her statement. "My mommy says sharing is love, and I love everyone." he told her simply. "You can go exploring with me if you want to. Its a lot of fun. I can get you a blue hardhat with a light on so we can match." He said. "I'm a first year." he giggled. "Do you know Dora? I love her. I watch her all the time on my tv in my room. My daddy even bought me some Dora DVDs." he explained to her.

"I love Dora, my brothers like Diego though. I like him too cause he recuse animals and my daddy loves animals. Well I do too, but I like to go exploring more." He rattled on. "I can teach you French, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin." He told her with a nod of his head. "Mommy said it always makes someone feel good when you speak their language." He told her.

"Hahaha, thanks!" Laylee said feeling silly. She smiled and leaned her head against the stone and made shadow bunnies with her fingers on the wall as he talked more about Dora. She felt like a little kid... and she didnt know why. "I love animals too! I'd have to say that Diego is my favorite!" She said truthfully, her bunny figure bouncing around the tunnel.
"I bet it does!" Laylee said marveling at this kid who could speak so many lauguages. Impressive.

Laylee literally jumped with fright as she heard another voice join them. "Oh Biff! You have got to stop sneeking up on me like that!" Laylee said as goosebumps covered her arms and legs. Most people didnt know about this secret mirror, how did he find it? There wasnt much room inside the small tunnel. She wasnt sure if they were all going to fit.
"Umm, this is Lucas." Laylee said introducing them after she got control of herself. She pointed her head light momentarily at Lucas and the looked back at Biff, shining the light in his eyes. "Lucas, this is Biff." Laylee suddenly felt like the older girl out. A first year, a third year, and even her best friend was a second year. She must be young at heart.

"I like animals too. My daddy is obsessed with dragons. We visit a dragon reserve all the time. I have a crup too. His name is Prince Ali." he said proudly. "It does," he nodded to her.

Laylee was enjoying her time with Lucas! Who knew she would make yet another friend at the memorable mirror? Something great always seemed to happen to her when she came here! "Cool!" Laylee said when he talked about his pet. But, too bad for him, that got her started on her pets. "I have three dogs and tons of fish at home, a kitten, Sebastian, an owl, Bundle, and Cleo, my pygmy puff!" Laylee said proudly. She loved her animals! Especially the last three that were at Hogwarts with her!

"I do not mean to be squishing you my dear" Biff Harrington told Laylee. He moved away so Laylee and Lucas could have more room. " I am glad we met each other" Biff smiled at her. " Hope I can see more of your sketches later" he told the older girl.

"Oh, your fine." Laylee said blushing slightly as if he had read her mind. "Thanks." She said anyway, glad for the space.
When he talked about her sketches again, she blushed deeper. "Ummm sure. If you really want to." She really wasnt used to this much attention directed to her sketches. It was different.
