She smiled that false smile she was so well known for. "Which brings me to the reason for my calling you here." She took a vile and opened it. She smelled it. "This to me smells like Cinnamon, Fertilizer..." She couldn't well say the Herbology classroom, "and..." she couldn't place the third scent now... was it grass? wood? sweat? "Something else..." she stoppered it back up and put it in full view on her desk. "I have a task for you." She said and smiled. "Up for the challenge Slytherin?" She asked.

Nicholai's eyebrow raised as he recognised what was in that vial. He briefly wondered what it would smell of to him; it had been a long time since he'd last smelled it and things had changed drastically since then.

Of course he was up for a distraction challenge.

"What's in it for me?" Nicholai responded, folding his arms across his chest.

Typical Slytherin... she thought to herself raising an eyebrow. Who did he think he was talking to? "Let's just say I have power to give and most importantly take away points. I'm not saying that I'll take away 100 points from you if you don't make Prefect Greingoth fall in love with you... per se... as that would be against the rules..." She smirked. If he had any idea of how she was, he knew what she'd mean by that. Any foot out of line would result in a loss in points... "but think of what would happen if you accepted and succeeded in my challenge..." She said then looked at the vile. "There are many items just... laying around... you could use... it's just a matter of... borrowing... them when they have their back turned... like this." And she turned to she wasn't facing the vial. If this kid didn't take the hint she'd demand he be transfered to Hufflepuff House.

"Why me?" Nicholai responded, taking the vial and securing it in one of his hidden pockets in one silent and fluid motion; actually going so far as to switch it with a similar looking vial of his own. A vial containing a similarly coloured placebo liquid. "I mean, why not make her fall in love with someone else?" While Nicholai had a hundred points to spare; the idea of losing even one was an unpleasant one for him.

"She mentioned you and Pretty Prefect Prat-ton." She said waving her hand as if shooing away the idea. "I wouldn't wish a Hufflepuff as a boyfriend on my worst enemy, let alone a friend. Whereas a Slytherin can see a way to make a gain for himself in any situation. This relationship can be symbiotic..."

"You will carry on my challenge?" She asked knowing full well his response. He was Slytherin after all.

Did she mean Seth? Nicholai frowned slightly; did he dare? Yes he did.
"I tend to be a magnet for Hufflepuffs and they aren't all bad." Nicholai paused before adding, "Though admittedly; sometimes they prove to be more trouble than they are worth." Lie. She had been worth every bit.

He regarded the intern calmly for a few moments before nodding his agreement.

"I will." he paused, "What are the terms? Apart from the obvious. I speak of a deadline, an outcome and such matters."

She rolled her eyes as he spoke of Puffs. "Yeah... sure..." and then went into what she wanted to discuss. "I want her to stay at Hogwarts. I could care less about the Newell kid. He annoys me." All Gryffindor boys annoyed her... Keller had started that, Shel had affirmed it. "I don't want her falling for him again. So do something, anything, to make him look bad in her eyes. Don't rely on... things you find in my office."

Nicholai shrugged, "Naturally he does; he's an idiot." that opinion hadn't changed. He was fairly sure Anna was staying now anyhow, so that particular problem was eliminated. But making Cale look bad? Easy enough to do for anyone that wasn't Anna. Hmmm, he might just have to recruit a Slytherin or three to help with that. Luckily there were several likely candidates.

"What things?" Nicholai responded deliberately as he looked around, raising his eyebrow at the bareness of the office. His lips were sealed.

Still, he wasn't quite convinced. Anna was his friend. But then... it was the best thing for her... and similar to what they had discussed anyway...

She looked at where the vial was... Cassandra may have been oblivious most of the time, but she knew what Amortentia looked like, and in what vial she'd put it in... Although Nico's substituted items were very similar, (and if it'd been polijuice, or some other potion, she wouldn't have noticed,) Cassandra knew better. She took her wand and with a non-verbal evanesco she disposed of the placebo vial. "Mr. Toussaint, I know I do not have to tell you to be discrete... do I?" She wasn't going to lose her job, or anger the headmistress... over the Gryffindors...

"Not at all." Nicholai responded simply, watching as she disposed of the substitute vial "Discression is the better part of valor; as they say." And Nicholai was not a Gryffindor... he wouldn't leap before looking... but neither would he be all noble and take a fall for the intern. He shrugged; already considering his options.

He was still curious as to exactly why Intern Trelawney wanted this to happen, but did not expect a straight answer from her.

"Good." She jumped off the desk and looked at the boy... "Take ten points for accepting my challenge... You're dismissed..." She said not understanding what he was still going in her office.

Nicholai nodded and stood up.
"Thank you." He inclined his head and turned, walking out the door; his mind calculating a plan of action and deliberately ignoring pesky emotions and such. He had wanted a distraction after all. Nicholai headed to the common room, a thoughtful expression on his face.

Alaina knocked on the office door,she'd heard about the Medical Internship.She'd always wanted to do something involving medicine,so maybe this was her chance,but she'd had some warning about the women in charge of the Office.Still she was up to this challenge,and she was here now,knocking

Knock,Knock,Knock.

Cassandra banged her head on the desk... she was never going to finish her paperwork if people didn't leave her alone... "Come in!" She said her head still on her desk.

Allie walked into the office.She could sense a aggravation from on the other side of the door,she took a deep breath and walked in.Something told her she should be careful.She walked into the room to find a young looking women with her head on her desk."Hello,Im here to ask about the Internship..are you alright?"she asked.

"Fine..." she sad pulling her head up and looking at the girl... "What about my intership?" She asked.

Allie nodded,"Ok,well,i was interested in it.."she said."I want to get involved with it..and I was wondering who I should do that?"she said,walking towards the table that the women was sat at

"I'm not sure what you mean... Involved in it? How?" She asked crossing her arms and looking at the Gryffindor.

Allie looked at the women infront of her."Well,you see,I want to do some sort of medical job when im older,and I was just wondering if you could tell me the best way to go about doing that?"she asked,she knew the women might not want to talk about her medical career but maybe some guidence might help her.

"Hmmm" Cassandra remarked looking at the girl. "Healing isn't an easy career..." She said trying to discourage her. "You need to have the stomach for it. What are you? A fourth, maybe fifth year?" she asked. "For you to start thinking in the direction of becoming a healer, you may want to discuss the option with your head of house... maybe talk to the potions master and the herbology professor..." She offered.

Allie was listening to what she was saying,she knew she had the stomach for it,all in all Allie wasnt an easly scared away young girl,she was up to the challenge.
"Potions,Herbology,right..."she said nodding.Maybe this was the way she should do to be a healer.

"Don't forget your head of house..." she said... "That's it... that's how I did it... you can go now... I have work to do."

Allie nodded,"Head of Year.."she said,"Ok,thank you.."she said smiling politley.She left the women in peace.

Camira knocked lightly on the door. She didn't know why she was so nervous. She liked Cassandra. As far as she knew, Cassandra didn't have a problem with her. Still...maybe it was the staff thing. She waited anxiously, mentally scolding herself and reminding herself about the dangers of excessive curiosity.

That was it. Cassandra turned to the door her wand drawn and ready to cast a bombarda at the door, just to hit whoever was bothering her now... Mehh... what if it was Eriks-Drago? Or Alex... or Rae? She opened the door and then pocketed her wand. "Miss Yaxley..." she said pleasantly... this was early... yet alright. She stood from her chair and sat on the desk, and motioned for her to take a seat in the emptied chair. "How may I be of assistance."
