Nikki watched the boy closely, "yes, I did" she replied. She stood up at the same time and smiled when he said his name, "so you're Maddox" so he was the guy Nico had told her about, the one that was on Kaylas side. "I'm Nicoletta Malfoy, call me Nikki" she told him.

She listened to what he said and held her hand out. "Can I have the pictures back now?" she asked him. She didn't know if he believed that she got the pictures from Nico but she really couldn't care less what he thought.

Maddox was a little surprised that she knew who he was. He raised his left eyebrow and said, "I guess Nico told you about me?" He almost wondered what nico had told her about him, but didnt ask. "Nice to meet you Nikki." He smiled.


Maddox looked at her confused, first she was sweet to him and kinda happy so see him, then suddenly she distrusted him greatly. He looked at her and said, "No you cant have them back. I need these. This is what i came to talk to Nico about." He almost glared but decided not to at the last minute.

Nikki nodded, "yeah, he did tell me about you" she answered, giving him a tight smile, "nice to meet you too" she replied. She thought about what Nico said, Maddox was going to chose Kayla over him, so she had no idea what to think of him.

She pulled her hand around from him and crossed her arms over her chest. "I don't really care that there was you were going to talk to him about. He gave them to me and I want them back" she told him. "Why do you even care about the photos? you're on Kaylas side anyway" she added.

He really didnt understand why she went from sweet to tense. It was slightly alarming the tone she had with him. He just stared at her.

Then she said it. Nico thought he was on Kayla's side. He knew it had to be because of the Flying lesson. "Who said i was on Kayla's side? I would NEVER betray Nico. He is my Best Friend!" He was growling out his words with such intensity a dragon would cower at him. The fire in his eyes was burning so fiercely he almost couldnt calm himself. But he managed to. He took a deep breath and said, "I want the pictures so i can help him figure out who did this to him. I even have a deal with kayla that when she speaks to the person that took them, if she doesnt like what he has to say, she will tell me who this person is." He glared at her, "So please Tell me again whos on Kayla's side." He was so angry he was shaking now. He could use Nico's ring at the moment.

Nikki stepped back slightly when he spoke. She didn't say anything until he was finished, even then she was speechless. Wow, maybe Nico was over reacting? don't believe everything you hear seemed to come in to play here. She sighed and put her hand in her pocket, she ignored her wand and pulled out the other picture. "Here" she said softly, holding it out to him. She still didn't no what to say. He seemed so angry.

Maddox was slightly taken aback when Nikki just handed him the picture. He must have been more convincing when angry then he thought. "Thank you." was all he could muster at the moment. Before he could hold back the word vommit he blurted out, "Will you help me? I dont know if i can do this on my own. I really need to talk to Nico as soon as possible. But i need to know what you know." He sighed and waited for her reply.

Nikki furrowed her eyebrows slightly when he asked for her help, first he's angry now he's asking for help? "um... yeah, of course I'll help" she answered. "I was just talking to Nico not that long ago and he seemed kind of angry" that was seriously an understatement, he seemed evil.

Maddox raised his left eyebrow. He wanted to shake her and say 'DUH HELLO HAVE YOU SEEN THESE PICTURES,' but he resisted. Sighing he replied, "What exactly is he angry about, and do you know where he was going?" Maddox tensed a little but then said, "Thank you for saying yes." He took a deep breath to calm himself; it was ragged and not as deep as he had hoped.

Nikki shrugged, "angry Kayla didn't believe him, that he thought we would chose Kayla over him, that Kayla doesn't love him" she told him. "And I kind of slapped him" she muttered. "I have no idea where he went" she said softly, she felt bad for what she called Nico but it made him realise he was becoming.

Maddox sighed and folded his arms across his chest. he leaned up against the wall and said, "She still loves him. Shes just extremely hurt. But i promised her i would get to the bottom of this, and inturn I am on Nico's side. The fact that he..." he sighed and shook his head, "The fact that he thinks im on her side kills me." He stopped when she said she slapped him, "Why'd you do that?" He was confused. "Dont worry I willl find him. Just like im going to find, with your help, the git who took the pictures. The story is all to dodgey for me." He looked down at the girl, hoping she agreed.

Nikki nodded, "I know she does" she told him, "I was talking to her at the lake before I found Nico" she sighed herself when he spoke, "he's confused himself. He thinks he's in it alone. It's nothing against you... I don't think" she tried to reason. She almost laughed when she saw his face, "cause I believed what Kayla said, he had broken her heart" she shrugged

"Well a clue when you're finding him. Look for a guy with a bleeding lip" she suggested, "and no I didn't do that, it was another one of Kaylas friends that punched him in the mouth" she added quickly. "You're right, the story is too dodgey. Why would someone take those photos in the first place?" she thought outload.

Maddox sighed, "He needs to realize that he doesnt have to handle things alone." He rubbed his temples with his thumb and index finger of his right hand. He was starting to get a headache from all the drama. "Oh so its ok that you accuse me of being on Kayla's side, when you really were, and i wasnt. Thanks." Maddox spat out a little sharply, but tried to calm down a bit.

Maddox sighed...Nico really knew how to get people angry with him. "I dont even know how to reply to that. He can really peeve alot of people off with one sentence. Believe me i know." He gave a crooked grin. He took a deep breath and racked his brain for any imformation that could have gone unnoticed. "I dont know, but Nico does have alot of enimes that none of us know about, and some that we do." He instinctivley went for his tooth pendant but realized it wasnt there, so he aimed for his head and rubbed it. "I really hope kayla talks to this person soon. In the mean time, we need to look for people that have cameras. We are sure to find this person then." He folded his arms.

"Told him that" she agreed, he didn't have to deal with things alone but he did have a strange way of dealing with things. She raised an eyebrow at his out burst and sighed, "I guess you're right... though after I spoke to Nico I was on his side" she told him.

She nodded, "yeah, I know" she smiled back at him. "I know of some of his enemies... one from France... but I don't think she could have anything to do with it" she shrugged. "Cameras... that's only a quater or half of the school" she sighed, this was going to be difficult.

Mari had no idea how she had ended up in the corridor on the kitchen level, but she had definitely done it. She frowned to herself, when suddenly she heard two people speaking, sometimes quietly and sometimes loudly enough to sound like they were going to start dueling right there in the hallway. She thought they had said something about Nico, and instantly her curiosity was piqued. She stopped just short of them and she decided they might be able to tell her, at least, how to get back to the first floor. " Pardon me, " She made one step forward. " Could either of you tell me how to get back to the main floor?"

Maddox shook his head. Nico needed to realize he doesnt have to do this on his own, and he wasnt going to with he liked it or not, Nikki and maddox would help him. "I was on Nico's side before Kayla told me anything. Lima was the one that told me about him and Anna. Oh, Lima is my girlfriend." He explained figuring she didnt know who that was.


"France huh?" He didnt know about that one. He knew that Nico had snuck in a bunch of beauxbatons girls at durmstrang which got him expelled, but he didnt think that would have gotten him an enemy. He sighed, "Yeah, but its a good place to start. We can get the negatives from all the people with cameras. Make sure we label them of course....that is if the culprit kept the negatives." He sighed again. This was going to take forever.



Maddox heard someone coming into the hall and put his fingers up to his lips so Nikki would be quiet. When the girl came into view and asked how to get back to the main floor, Maddox pointed behind him and said, "Its that way." He smiled and impatiently waited for the girl to leave.

Nikki nodded, she felt bad enough for no believing him straight away and Maddox wasn't exactly helping that, "I didn't really no much about the Anna thing until I spoke to Nico" it's a date they both didn't really want to go on, what did that really mean?

She nodded again, "Yeah, this girl at Beauxbatons... my old school" she explained. "yeah, lets hope the person did keep negatives or this well be for nothing" she sighed, hoping the person did keep the negatives.

She looked around when Maddox gestured for her to be quiet and saw a girl standing there. She smiled at her when he told her where to go and walked silently for her to leave.

Mari knew she had heard them say something about those photos, and as one of the people unfairly (but probably accurately, in her case) portrayed in them, she wanted to know what they were talking about. She moved to leave, and then stopped, pulling the sleeves of her sweater over her hands in an unconscious gesture of being unsure. She continued on, thinking it would just be better if she left.

Maddox sighed, "I didnt know anything till about 4 hours ago. So you definatly knew before me." He grinned. He didnt understand why Nico was keeping this from him. But he would find him soon enough.

He grinned, "Were you one of the girls he snuck into Durmstrang then?" He chuckled at the thought. Maybe thats why shes going to hogwarts now. "Its going to be a major opporation that we have to keep quiet...somehow." He sighed and leaned his head up against the wall.









Maddox gave a smile to the girl, but an annoyed one. He could tell she was trying to hear what they were talking about but he wasnt going to start talking until she was out of the hallway. Once she finally started walking away, he mumbled, "finally.." and rolled his eyes at nikki.

Nikki nodded, "either way we both know now and need to find who took the pictures" she sighed. She smiled back at Maddox and leaned against the wall next to him. She couldn't believe how confusing everything was getting.

She laughed and shook her head, "that was a different house they snuck in" she told him, smiling. "Though there was a girl that got suck in a closest or something in Durmstang? there was a big thing about it, Cadence... she doesn't like Nico" she told, she wondered if he knew. How were they going to keep this quiet? "well it's not going to be easy to keep quiet if we're going around asking for peoples negatives" she thought outloud.

She watched the girl walked away and she couldn't help but think that girl looked familiar. She chuckled when Maddox rolled his eyes and kept trying to think where she had seen that girl before. "Give me the pictures for a second" she told him, she must have been one of those girls but she still wasn't sure.

Maddox shook his head in agreement. "Thats right. I just hope we can find this person." He poped his knuckles at the thought of getting his hands on the little pratt.


He chuckled and said, "Ah ok, so how did you meet him then?" He was sure it was an amazing story. "Ah yes...Cadence. Kinda not surprised about that." Maddox definatly knew that story. He couldnt believe that Nico had to still deal with that as well as everything else that is going on now. "Yes, hopefully we will find this person soon enough. If luck were on our side, it would be the first person we checked."


Maddox handed her the pictures and looked around making sure no one else was coming.

Nikki nodded, she could see the anger in Maddox but she couldn't blame him really. Who ever did this was a complete git and it was obvious he person would be lucky to keep their face after this.

"Well we meet in diagon alley, he knew exactly who I was but I had no idea who he was. We got to talking and Cela jumped out of no where and started yelling at him in french" she told him with a cheesy grin on her face, she remembered that clearly, "how did you meet?" she asked him. "Yeah, hopefully" she hoped they found the person quickly so this thing didn't go on for too long.

She took the pictures from him and flicked through them. She stopped on the picture of the girl she had just sure and nodded, "yeah, that's the girl that just walked past" she was glad she worked that out or it would have been bugging her for a while. She handed the pictures back and sighed.

Maddox smiled, "Well thats interesting. Cela is amazing." He chuckled at the thought of cela. He couldnt believe that that girl was related to Nico, still. "Ah Nico and I met first year at durstrang. We never got along. Fourth year during a quidditch match, we play very dirty at Durmstrang mind you, he punched me in the nose, so i sent a gouging hex at him. Got him right on the shoulder. We werent friends till the end of last term at coopers." It seemed like such a long time ago when they werent friends.


Maddox wasnt really paying attention to what Nikki had said about the pictures and the girl that asked for directions. "Well Nikki, it was very nice meeting you. We shall meet up again soon. I want to talk to Nico before we do speak again. In the meantime see what you can dig up." He grinned.

Ah, the kitchen floor corridor.

As Evangeline made her way down the corridor, the light tap tap of her shoes breaking the silence, a soft smile played across her lips at all the memories. Like Clifford and her actually getting into speaking terms after they broke up. Hehe. Thank Merlin last's year little ... accident had been at Belle's or ..

Oh deary. The House Elves were the same weren't they?

The thought alone made Evangeline stop on her tracks and she looked around, feeling a bit paranoid. She wanted coconut cookies, since her bag had finished ... but she didn't want to face a mob of angry House-Elves!

Vannie didn't know why she was on this corridor for but she knew it would be some where she could just think. Just think about current situations and why she was feeling more and more suspicious every day. She didn't really know what she was suspicious off but she was scared that it would drive Miles away. She really didn't want to lose him but she was certain that he wasn't telling her something. She just had that feeling.

She brushed her hair out of her eyes as she looked up, to see Evangeline walking furthur along the corridor. It seemed that girl always was there when she needed someone to talk to. If she was ready to talk about how she was feeling. "Evie," She called out as she hurried up her pace a little to catch up with her friend.

Ack. Maybe she should go away. Evangeline was a tad too young to die, and even if she wasn't, she didn't really want to die victim of angry House-Elves. And they sure had enough reasons to be mad at her. Bleh. It looked like she had to go and find Clifford so that he could go and get her coconut cookies.

Since it was no longer safe for her to get in the kitchen. Sniffle.

She was gonna to turn on her heels and go back down to the Common Room when she heard a familiar voice that made her look up. Oh, Vannie! Great. Evangeline had been worrying over her Hufflepuf friend since the last time they had met. She just hoped everything was alright now. "Vans! How's it going?" She asked with a smile, adjusting the strap of her bag.
