Rian sighed as she walked up to the statue, she leaned against it, frustrated. First off, she could tell that Sneeze had some other feelings then friendship with Demetria, if only just a little. Second, they were having a great time, then something happened to him, adn now she was pretty sure her boyfriend was hurt. Third, Miss Trewlawney wasn't being the nicest wand in the shop.

She sighed again and looked up at Jenn. She was so mad, she wanted to cry. She was glad no one else was around, or it would have been totally embarrassing. She let her head fall to her curled-up knees.

Jenn was still glowering after her little "conversation"with Trelawny. Jenn continued to bite the inside of her cheek. After about ten minutes of that she looked up at Rian. Jenn rushed over and hugged Rian. "What's up Sames?"Jenn asked Rian. "You don't look like the cheerful bookworm I know."Jenn said hugging Rian tighter.

Rian couldn't help the smile that spread across her face. Bookworm. She smiled and hugged Jenn back. It seemed silly that she was worried about Sneeze and Demetria when she was with her other friends. She shook her head and kept smiling at Jenn.

"Nothin," she answered finally.

It was the turht too. She started giggling at being so upset about it. She covered her mouth with her hand and after some difficulty, stopped her giggles.

Jenn laughed as Rian giggled. "O.K. That was completly random, but o.k."Jenn said finally. Jenn continued to laugh. "So um, what was with all that in the waiting room?"Jenn asked. She smiled slyly. "I mean I know I totally beat Trelawny in our little competition but still. Why where you and Sneeze there?"she asked.

Rian shrugged. "Well, all I know is that Sneeze, Demetria and I were taking a picture, and Sneeze saw something in the lake behind us." her eyebrows scrunched together in a line as she concetrated, adn her head tipped to the side.

"He went to go look at it, and he got...bit, I guess...by whatever it was." Rian was worried again by the time she'd finished. "I was just there because he said that he wanted me to be there." She shrugged again and fiddled with the eagle bracelet her aunt had given her, not knowing what else to say.

Jenn nodded. "So he got..bit? By what? A werewolf? Those are the only things I know of that bite around here."Jenn said concernly. It all fit! The paper, the potions, the way Trelawny tried to keep it a secret. Sneeze had been bit by a werewolf. But that meant. Gasp! "Rian! Sneeze was bit by a werewolf! That's why he has to be alone. Tha's what was on the paper, and that's why he has to take those potions. He's a werewolf!"Jenn said quickly.

Kait felt like she had been doing things all day. Absently she'd been walking around the corridors for about half an hour. She stopped by the statue of the witch and leaned against it. She was going to sit down on the floor, but even though it was the third floor the floor would still be freezing. Kait just stood there staring off into space.

"penny for your thoughts" Logan said to the girl by the statue.
He had'nt seen her around before but he was awfully bored and wanted someone to talk to.

Kait opened her eyes, and looked sideways at the boy. 'No thoughts really,' she told him, 'just resting.' This was a new face Kait thought, she might as well introduce herself. 'Hi, I'm Kait, Kaitlynn Hayman.' She stood up straight and turned to face him.

"hey" he smiled her
"I'm Logan Zucherro, Nice to meet you" he said as he stuck out his hand

Kait took his hand and shook it before letting hers letting it falll back to her side. 'So what house are you in?' She asked him.

"I'm a ravenclaw" Logan said
"yourself" He asked nodding towards Kait

"Hufflepuff, Fifth year," she told him. She smiled at him and leaned back against the statue.

"oh cool, how do you find it?" He asked her

Kait turned back to him.

'It's good, I actually transfered here this year, so it's a little new, I still dont know many people my age yet.' She told him. 'What year are you in?' She smiled at him shyly.

"im in the year ahead of you" Logan beamed back.
"and as for not knowing many people....you know one more now eh!"

"I guess so," she said, not as shyly now. 'What are you favourite classes?' she asked him.

Logan considered the question for a moment before answering
"i like history of magic and charms, and i hate aritmancy ugh! its so stupid! what about you? what are yours?"

"So far I like my DADA class, and charms,' she started, 'but as time goes on that might change,' she told him.

"yea dada is good actually! so where did you come here from?" Logan inquired

'A school in Rio actually, so it was alot warmer than here.' She leaned against the statue again.

"oh wow! thats incredible! i bet you miss your friends huh!" Logan went silent for a moment......"sorry!..so um......do you like it here?"

"I wasnt there very long,' she explained, 'my parents moved around alot, I just recently came to live with my sister.' I like Hogwarts better so far though' she told him.
