Jayne smiled "Did I scare you?" she giggled

Helena smiled slightly as her eyes wafted from their normal, cheery bright blue to a light purple. I'm... fine thanks, Jose. Her eyes were a little confused, but it was hard distinguish behind their beauty. She still didn't sit down and was in half a mind to not do so at all, though she wasn't sure exactly why.

"No"Ross said knowing that he would never admit being scared by a girl. "So how are you?"

Jayne snorted with laughter "I'm ok thanks, Ross isn't it?"

"Yea its Ross" he said looking away to take a drink of his pumpkin juice.

"Hi" Jayne suddenly remembered Ross didn't know her name "Do you know who I am?"

"Of course i know who you are" Ross aid then starting to stutter he continued "You are...erm.....who are you?"

"Jayne Todd, Fourth year Hufflepuff" she laughed

"Pleased to meet you" he said sniggering "Sit down"

Jayne blinked "Sit?" she asked blankly "Oh! sit" she giggled as she sat down "Thanks" she looked at Ross

"How are you" Ross asked her once she sat down

"I'm great thanks" Jayne said moving closer to Ross "How are you?" she asked

Ross saw her move closer to him and thought that it was so she could hear him better "I am fine too" he said

Jayne smiled at Ross "Good" she answered, seeing he didn't object to her moving closer, she started to lick her spoon while he spoke to her.

Ross felt silence start to overcome them both so he started to stare at the wall

Jayne sniggered "You ok?" she asked as she moved so close she was touching him

Emalyn walked quickly to the Hufflepuff table and found an empty seat, plopping herself down with a sigh.
"Okay." she breathed, gazing in front of her. "Food." She hardly looked at what she had been scooping out of a bowl until it landed with a comical *sprlahht* on her plate. She couldn't help but giggle at this sound.
I am so out of order, she thought, shaking her head and reaching for more food.

Ross started to feel a little shakey once she moved closer to him and tried to focus his attention elsewere.

Jayne smiled and sat on Ross's lap "How're you feeling sweetie?" she asked as she put her arms around his neck

There was one person that Astrid just had to see before getting on the train and it looked like she was going to have to go over to the Hufflepuff table to do so. As soon as she got close enough to see him, she could feel the smile creeping up on her face again and began to walk faster. With his back turned to her, Astrid wasn't sure who exactly who he was talking to. Suddenly, she saw someone climb into his lap and could feel her temperature rise almost immediately. "ROSS! Just what the hell is this?" she asked loudly.

Jayne smiled at the Gryffie "This is me." Jayne said simply "How're you doing?" she asked as she kissed Ross on the cheek

Ross felt the girl climb on his lap and immediatly pushed her off but obviosly not fast enough as he heard Astrid shouting at him, great thats just what i need he thought to himself "It is not what it looks like" he pleaded with her "She came onto me"

Jayne fell to the floor and got up "Hey!" she said as she sat next to Ross, grasping his arm, she kissed his cheek to keep him quiet from talking to this Gryffie "Shut up and kiss me" she kissed his lips and sat on his lap again

Astrid listened as Ross quickly tried to explain the situation. This was certainly not what she expected to find when she came over here but she was willing to take care of it. She looked over at the 'person' on his lap and started to laugh. Really, was there any question at all? She was FAR from competition.

She glared at Ross, still quite unhappy with what she was witnessing and then turned her eyes towards the girl again.

Astrid gave her a look of complete and utter indifference. "I would appreciate it if you could take your hands off my boyfriend now." she said evenly, without a hint of anger in her voice.

Jayne smiled "Well, appreciate this!" Jayne grinned as she raised her eyebrows, she kissed Ross and whispered things in his ear that were sure to make him blush "Well?" she asked as she looked up at Ross's 'girlfriend' "Did you appreciate that?"
