"And it was a good analogy too, so there." She stuck her tongue out at Ella then laughed.

Curt grinned, oh yes she was going to have to suffer for the next half hour. “It’s for Tigers own good.” He said with a small smile, “Don’t want to get him worked up too soon.” He mused, Tiger probably couldn’t understand anyway, but it was really just Curt’s way of giving out a hint.
Curt agreed with Vannah, nothing will ever compare to the Hogwarts common room. “Agreed. The whole no girls thing was crazy.” Curt’s mind wandered to last year in the ‘common room’, the only thing he bloody did was study for hour after long hour. “Last year I basically devoted my life to OWLS. Which actually paid off, I did a lot better than I thought I had.” Curt finished with a smile, a future besides Quidditch WAS a possibility after all.
Waving the piece of meat in front of Ariel, Curt smiled to Vannah. All seemed well as she was licking it, but then out of nowhere the dog just hopped right up on the table. Way too quick for Curt to do a thing about it. “Oh, no Ariel come back!” he said, as he attempted to reach for her, the pup knocked over his pumpkin juice and it ran all over the table and into Curt’s lap. “Perfect.” Curt sighed as he got out his want and muttered “Tergeo.” Cleaning up the mess and drying it from his robes. Looking back up, the dog wasn’t as close as he wanted it to be, and he would probably only cause even more of a mess if he reached over all the other people and grab her. Giving Vannah a nervous look, he tapped his hand on the table and said the dogs name, “Ariel, come back over here.” He said, and picked up another large piece of meat that might looking appealing to the canine.

Tiger's own good? The only thing the feline backed down to was owls. Actually, basically anything with wings and talons. Which was the exact opposite of your usual cat, but no one ever said Tiger was normal. "Mmm.. alright," Savannah murmured, pondering over whoever could be waiting in the common room.
"I told you you're OWL results would be good!" Savannah said, grinning triumphantly, recalling their letters from summer quite well in her mind. She had been sure they would, with all the studying he had done there was no reason for them not to be brilliant.
Before either of them could react the pup climbed further up, going from the bench to ontop of the table. Weren't cats the ones that liked high places? And there went the juice! She rose from her seat "Aw, Ariel.." thinking quickly Savannah could either grab the dog, or stop the flow of pumpkin liquid from spilling over the edge of her side of the table. Choosing to stop the juice, Savannah snatched up a napkin or two near her and soaked it up, preventing a further mess, it all disappeared with the incantation Curt casted.
Oh no, the pup was on the move. "Uhm.. Ariel," She motioned back towards them, glancing to her side in wonder if she would even be able to reach over and try to grab her, or if that would just cause a bigger mess. "Ariel! Frederic is coming" She lied urgently, wondering if maybe she would come if the Gryffindor was approaching. Would she even recognize that name to her owner's face? "your master? the hand that usually feeds you?" Just come back this way.

One second she could feel something went flowing through her paws and the next it was like it was gone. Getting up and abandoning her piece of meat, the puppy was looking all around here where the liquid was gone. It was impossible that all of a sudden it was gone. Licking the table to see if their was something left she couldn't taste anything. A little sneeze came out of her and as she did that, she knock a plate that was behind her but she didn't realized it.
Noticing that the boy was showing her a rather big piece of meat, she sort of crawl toward him. Her back paw was stuck in the boy's plate so as she was getting nearer him, she made an attempt of getting up but as she did that the plate went straight in Vannah's lap and everything that was left was now on her.

When Christine decided to just sit there by herself until the feast was over and she was guided to her room, someone started to speak from the staff table. The Head Mistress made a speech and said that they could go up to their rooms. That made Christine feel a little better. She stayed sitting, waiting for the other people in her house to get up so that she could follow them. Christine just hoped everyone moved fast, she was eager to get this day over with. | |

Clumsy girl from the train; the last person he expected to be 'sweet' to him, which was quite surprising. "Er..." he gulped, wanting to apologize, but not knowing how.
Then the Headmistress finally spoke and he sort of listened. Visit new teachers and introduce himself?! Why in the merlin of occamies would he want to do that!? Shaking his head, he turned back to the young girl. "Dominic. Dominic Denton. And you are?" he asked casually. There; he was polite... somewhat.

Savannah gasped as the messy plate fell into her lap, barely noticing the Headmistress make her speech till several moments later while she was still trying to clean herself up as best as possible. "Uhm, alright Hufflepuff first years this way please" She said loudly, once she was satisfied enough with wiping her robes. Waving them over to take them to their common room, she gave Curt an apologetic look, saying "I'll meet you in the common room." before heading off out of the great hall with the first years in tow and Tiger amongst them.
