Chad laughed slightly as the young women hugged him, but then felt sort've embarresed by it... Not that the hug wasn't nice. Altough he did wish it hadn't been infront of everyone.

"Yep... Guess that means I've gotta have something in this thing" Chad said, knocking on his head as Kaika congratulated him. He proudly tugged on his robes and added, "I'm just pleased to not be in Slytherin.. My brothers have been teaseing me about that for months"

Chad smiled as she mentioned Hogwarts and nodded. So far he was very pleased with his choice. "Yeah. It's wonderful, waaaayyy better then my old school... Although I am a little nervous to be around so many girls. My old school was an all guy's Academy" Chad replied, looking around the castle with an air of belonging about him. Ruffleing his hair and frowning slightly at the thought. Now that the Ravenclaw thought about it he had never really liked his old school and he doubted highly that he'd miss it... He did miss his freinds though.

"Well I think blue rather suits me, don't you agree?" Chad luaghed in response to how he liked Ravenclaw. Chad smiled and shook his head slightly before turning back to the Hufflepuff. "I'm pleased with it so far.. And I'm sure my mom will be happy, she was in Ravenclaw too."

"Definitely!" Kairi said with a grin. "So what's it like to be in hufflepuff?" she asked curiously.

Kaika laughed, "We're all smart, Chad" she said, they were in Hogwarts, which must mean something for that matter, "But, yeah, Ravens do have a way of using their knowledge differently or better, who knows?" she shrugged, for whatever reason the houses were known for, she still thought that those were misleading, someway. Especially in the way people thought of Huffies. But, honestly, she didn't truly cared.

"Well, I'm also glad you're not in Slytherin" she said, with a smile, "Otherwise, we would never be friends" this she said rather serious, until she laughed a bit, "No, just kidding" even if the 'green' had a reputation she knew she couldn't judge anything before knowing.

Kaika listened to him and blushed a little. Oh, he went to an all-guy's academy. And the girl just hugged him, in public. That must have been a bit awkward for him. And now awkward for her. "Oh, don't be nervous, you'll do just fine" she nodded, and her eyes narrowed a little as she looked at him, "Yep, blue suits you" she chuckled, eyes returning to normal. "It usually runs in the family, my dad was a Hufflepuff too" she said, smiling.

Jason again walks back to the HufflePuff table. "Tazmin, we need to talk somewhere privately" Jason pleaded with her.

Pheonix shrugged 'Dunno yet, we're all meant to be ditzy in this house, guess I'll have to wait and find out. What about you, hows Gryffindor?' she asked, grinning mischeviously.

"You're not ditzy...much," Kairi said, jokingly. "Naa, I'm only joking. Gryffindor? Well, so far it's great. Us brave and courageous Gryffindors have already eaten every single chip on our plates," Kairi said jokingly, in a fake posh voice. "Its ok, so far," she said, back in her normal voice. "I made quite a lot of new friends, and met I couple I met in Diagon Alley, but I miss you Phoenix, and I miss all my other friends that aren't in Gryffindor. It will be strange not seeing them as much,"

Alyss drifted over to the yellow table, looking for a certain young Hufflepuff. Her eyes wandered around, eventually catching on a rather lunky boy, totally not a Huffie. With a slight scowl, she turned away and caught sight of a girl she'd met at Eva's house. Sliding down to sit next to her, ignoring the looks she got from other Huffies, she totally interupped the younger girl. "Hai," She muttered, picking a random thing from the table, "Seen Eva? I kinda need to talk to her."

Aly yawned and skipped down the aisle beside the Hufflepuff table, looking for a seat. She turned her head to scan the Slytherin table, wondering if Raiden was already sitting down, when she smacked into someone standing in the middle of the aisle.

"Ooof." She grunted, taking a couple of steps back. "Geeze. Do you have to stand in the middle of the aisle? I can't get through."

"Oh sorry, I was daydreaming" Jason told the girl. Jason leaves for the Gryffindor table again.

Christine smiled at what Elan said. He seemed really nice. Christine was happy about that. The only other hufflepuff she met was a jerk and it was nice to see there were people here who weren't so mean. It's good that your dad excepts you for who you are. Christine's stomach continued to rumble more now. When is this feast going to start? I might have to run off and find something to eat if this takes any longer Christine said with a laugh.

That wasn't what struck him the most though; the young man was seated away from girls. Already a step up in his book.

Dominic swept a quick glance down the table and then back to the lone boy. "Mind if I sit here?" he asked charmingly, already stepping over the bench into the spot next to him.

Christine saw Dominic come back to the Hufflepuff table. He sat away from her with another boy. He really got under her skin, with his "I'm noble" attitude. Christine looked briefly in his direction and gave him the meanest look she could put on her face.

"Oh, well yeah.. I think it's mostly just wait we're most proud of.. Rather then our actual abilties, Kind of like it judges what you want, rather then you you think you want" Chad said, his hand on his chin and a thoughtful expression on his face. He had done quite a bit of thinking concerning this fact on the train ride here.

Um... " Chad said, unsure how to respond to something like that. He hadn't perceived Kaika as someone who would judge you on you House.. But then a few seconds later he realized she was joking and laughed along with her, "You had me going there" Chad replied, still chuckleing all the while.

"Thank you... I've never really liked blue, but, I don't know... I''m kind've digging it" Chad said, "Yeah I guess so. My brother's were both in Gryffindor though and My father was in Hufflepuff like you are!"

Pheonix laughed, she'd been laughing quite a lot more lately. 'I hope I make a few more friends in this house but you can't get rid of me that easily Kairi, I'll still try and see you as much as possible.' she replied, another grin on her face, trying to nudge Kairi in the ribs, but missing as she was still sat down and nearly toppling off the bench.

Kairi laughed as Phoenix nearly toppled off the bench. "You better be more careful, Miss Phoenix, your almost as bad as..." Kairi had tried to nudge Phoenix in the ribs as well, but had missed and ended up on the floor. "Hmm," she said, jokingly. "How on earth did I get down here?"

"Yeah, you're probably right" she said, she'd never heard an answer like that before, he must have been thinking this for a while, or he was just insightful. Whichever was, it seemed good to her.

She laughed after his reply, "Right" she said, "I'm really not the one to judge like that, though if I did I'd probably get it right" she chuckled, the few Slytherins she'd met weren't entirely nice by far. And she was still doubting about one of them, instead, the few Ravens she'd met, well, they were smart and nice all the way. "You'll grow to love the color, you'll see" this didn't apply to her case, since she'd been exposed to yellow since she was a child, "And it does suit you, so don't worry about it" she said, a smile on her face, which wasn't really to hard to keep, considering this was the beginning of the term.

Her eyes widened, "Really? Wow, I bet the Sorting Hat had a tough time placing your family, then" she chuckled, "Your dad must be an amazing person, though" she joked.

Elan heard a grunt behind him and turned to see what it was about. He saw someone who looked close to his age. He tapped her arm and asked, "Would you like to sit down with us?"

He listened and then leaned over to her and said, "Yeah, but he still doesn't seem happy." When he heard her question he told her, "Ella says we can eat." He indicated his now half full plate and smiled.

'Are you okay Kairi?' asked Pheonix between giggles as she looked down at Kairi sat on the floor. She put out a hand to help her up, still giggling like a madwoman. 'So who am I as bad as then? Not you I hope Miss Kairi?' Pheonix asked, trying to sound casual but failing miserably.

Aly ran her hand through her hair and sighed. She jumped slighly when she felt a tap on her arm and turned to a boy. She smiled at his question and nodded. "Sure." She slid onto the bench and reached for the pitcher of goblet juice.

Christine got extremely when she realized that it was time to eat. She was extremely hungry and felt that she could eat an entire cow. She reached over and grabbed the first this her hands found, chicken, and started chowing down.

Elan grinned and said, "Hi. My name's Elan." He watched her pour her juice and grinned. He seemed to be doing much better about making frineds, though he probably should work on meeting more boys.

Kairi couldn't stop herself from laughing as Phoenix helped her up. "Oh no, Miss Phoenix, I am the most coordinated person on the planet," she said, curtsying, and then tripping over her own feet. "Whoops," she said as she righted herself. "Ok, I admit it, I am worse than you," she said, grinning.

She turned her head towards him and smiled wider. "I'm Alyssandra, but you can call me Aly." She nodded and pushed her bangs away from her eyes. "Nice to meet you, Elan."

Elan looked over to Christine and smiled as she dove into the food. He didn't know if girls ate a lot, but the ones at his other school ate like little salads and stuff. "Looks good."

Her smile warmed him because he was used to kids not liking him because of all the weird things he could do, before he knew he was a wizard. "Aly. That's a pretty name. Are you a first year too?"

Elan heard Ella's question and shook his head no. "Nope. I love being an only child, and I never had good friends, just guys I would play with. But that stopped a couple years ago when they kept getting hurt around me for no good reason." He had learned how to be content by himself.

Mina slipped quietly into a seat, brushing her short fringe out of her chocolate eyes. The first year was somewhat nervous, and hated to admit it but had to. Brushing an imaginary piece of dust from her robes, she glanced around her.

No faces she recognised immediately. Biting her lip - for once in her life, she was actually showing nerves! - she glanced back to her skirt, plucking fraying pieces of threads whilst cursing her father under her breath.

Kairi, still grinning at Phoenix, she felt some familiar vibrations in the ground. Mina, she thought to herself. She turned around and waved, a smile on her face.

'Not by much though Miss Kairi.' said Pheonix grinning again as she watched Kairi's antics. 'You should have seen me at my Muggle middle school, I was always dropping things and tripping over chairs, you would think as you got older you would gain control of your hands and feet. I seem to be a bit behind on that though.'
