James popped up from the Ravenclaw table and deciding to wander over to the Hufflepuff's. AS he walked by, he bumped against a girl. He lost his balance and took a couple steps to the side. He turned around, his face flushed, and smiled awkwardly to Ella.
"Sorry about that," he mumbled.

Not awaring that she was leaned back as she talked to Zel. She got hit by something ..well..wait, she turned and looked up to see what it could be. Good god! There was a tall boy, stood there, apologizing. She got up from the seat, "No..it's okay" told him with her usal warm smile. "Are you looking for your friends?" she asked, hoping that the boy could be nice. Not like the previous one she had met before.

As the girl that James had bumped into stood up, he realized that she was quite a nice person.
"I-er-no, actually. I haven't really got any Hufflepuff friends...." he said. He looked up and smiled to Ella.
"I'm sorry, I didn't introduce myself," he said, reaching out to shake her hand. "I'm James Carter."

Smiling at his quick self introduction, she shook her hand with him for a brief before let it go. "Nice to meet you James", she looked up again, noticing his brilliant green eyes, full of naiveness. She cleared he thoat a bit a and talking in an announcement note. *ahem* "I Ella Stone, a sixth year with full of mischievousness came here to learn some magic and get friends. But easy going is my second nature too.." she giggled and believed that he could get her jovial gestures.

James laughed with her openness. He already liked her flamboyant attitude.
"Well, if we're going to go into specifics," he smirked. "I'm a sixth year who befriends everyone and has his crazy moments a little bit too often." he laughed. "May I sit with you?" he asked, seeing as it was quite awkward to be standing up at the tables.

Ella felt happy about his happiness and approach. She didnt forget to notice his eyes again which were speaking the same thing as his mouth. "Good. seems like you're very much in the same wavelength like me.." she laughed with him and gestured to sit next to her. "Ofcourse, no need to hesitate.."

James smiled again and sat down next to Ella. He reached for a buttered piece of toast and bit into it.
"It's great that Hogwarts is Hogwarts again, you know?" he said to Ella. He was referring to the whole gender split of the school, of which he didn't attend that year. He took another bite of toast and looked at Ella.

Ella settled down next to him as where she was before. "I think so..but I'm as excited as the first years. I'm a transferred student you know..." she said knew that everybody was excited about it. "So hungry?" asked, looking at him as he was filling his mouth in quick pace.

"A little, yes," he said.
James swallowed his toast and smiled to Ella.
"Oh, I didn't know that. Where'd you come from?" he asked as he then filled a goblet with pumpkin juice.

Helping him get the pumpkin juice, she giggled, "Slow..slow down. dont get choked..." she nudged his side gently. She got to used to that frequently and made all of her family members did help her to get back to normal. Shrugged off her nastalogic thoughts she added, "I was transferred from Beauxbatons for last term. So technically this's my first Hogwarts year. What about you?" She helped herself with some juice, finally.

"I know." She mumbled. God did Eva have to shout it out?

Jose sat at the table he wondered if any of his friends were about.

Sam smirked, "Like the sun?" he asked her. "That's gold too-most of the time!" Odd reasoning, but everyone else seemed to have the same line of thought around him...so why not? Sam regarded the others in the group around their new captain. He was almost completely sure...that they had been on the team the few times he had played reserve. Well...that's what he thought anyway. Even the captain seemed familiar to him....well of course. She'd been on the team when he pitched up every now and again too. Either that or she had talked to him in a class somewhere, but Sam couldn't be sure of that. His memory was hazy about that time.

Sam was pulled out of the brief reflection by the other girl's voice. "You've got everything there 'cept Rap, Nzel and Nuq!" he said chuckling the letters in her name rearranging themselves in his head. "It's Sam...and anything else you can come up with." Sam smirked; it seemed they both forgot names but remembered people...funny. Sam took a swig of pumpkin juice from his goblet, the sugar rushing through him to his brain. So brilliant! Suddenly a voice cut through his thoughts once again-only this time it was another girl from the group around the captain. What she'd said made his mind boggle. "Wait," Sam said to her almost frightened, "Did you say...manicures?"

He listened as she talked of her friends and thoughts about being a citizen here. He looked around and noticed everyone else was eating. "Oh, yeah. I was having so much fun talking to everyone that I forgot to get food." He began to pull out the portions and place them on his plate.

Watching some one young like him was always interesting to Ella. She always tried to read their mind not as a hobby but in cuirosity. She was trying to read Elan's mind now as he was filling his plate. "Absolutely. dont let your tummy growled.." she giggled, "Do you have siblings?" asked, carefully letting him eat his food.

Elan reached to his plate and grabbed at a potato pancake and bit into it just as she asked a question. Taking a drink of his juice, he swallowed while shaking his head. "No. I'm an only child. And I'm not sure that my dad would be very comfortable with more than one. He's very structured and children seem to make him upset if they ruin that."

Strange! was the only word popped in her mind when he said about his father and his children theory. Being one of the 5 childrens she always liked a big family and kids as well. "I'm speechless. Dont you feel alone when you're at home? " she asked, felt pathetic for the smart kid.

That was a very good saying, Kaika made a mental note to remember it, in case if she needed to say something about Firebolts in the near future. "You couldn't be more right, Punz!" she said, and looked around the table. It has become more crowded than she'd imagined, of course, twice the people, considering they weren't separated this term. Silly, how she used to forget this fact often.

"Ohh." Ema nodded understandingly. "What happens in the winter...does the snow fall down?"
Emalyn grimaced. She actually hadn't been looking forward to classes...she was quite scared. Coming from a muggle backround, she had no idea what to expect. Would they learn how to pull a bunny from a hat? She had read some of the books she had gotten in Diagon Alley, but couldn't even imagine herself doing all of those things.
"I'm not, actually..." Emalyn told her, biting her lip. "I'll probably set someone on fire with this thing." she pulled out her wand, fumbled with it, and dropped it under the table. She blushed and ducked under the table to retrieve it, only to bump her head and come up even more embarrased than before. She rubbed the back of her head and tucked the wand back into her robes. A few kids from the 'Green' table were laughing at her and shaking their heads, saying something to do with...Mud? Emalyn gave them a cock-eyed look and turned back to Ella and Vannah. "I'm so clumsy. What house is that called?" She nodded toward the 'Green' table. "They don't seem very kind."

Pheonix slid onto the bench at the Hufflepuff table, there were quite a lot of people there already. She still couldn't believe she'd been sorted into Hufflepuff while Kairi had been sorted into Gryffindor. She hoped they could still be friends though. Pheonix gave a sigh and contented herself to watching those around her.

Chad Mondai had just finished eating his way through the fest when he spotted Kaika at the Hufflepuff table. They had shared a conversation or two back at Diagon Alley, and Chad being rather nervous about interrupting the older student's talks around him decided to walk over and say hello.

As the newly apointed Ravenclaw made his way to the Hufflepuff table he noticed the young women was talking with her freinds. Chad hung back for a moment in uncertainty, but, forged onward anyway.

"Hey... Remember me??" Chad said, tapping the brunette on the sholder, as he finnally walked up to her.

Kaika felt a tap on her shoulder, and decided that the words spoken before that were meant for her. She turned and saw the boy she'd met at Diagon Alley. "Chad!" she exclaimed, and stood up to give him a hug, "Wow, you're in Ravenclaw" she said, looking at his robes, "That's awesome!" or not, considering she'd always preferred Hufflepuff, but at least he wasn't in Slytherin.

"Isn't Hogwarts just perfect?" she sighed, looking around the Great Hall, there was no possible way for him to understand how much she liked to have Hogwarts back, "So, are you glad you turned out to belong in Ravenclaw?" she asked, a bit curious about it.

Kairi was sitting on the Gryffindor table, popping chips into her mouth when her feet spotted Phoenix, sitting all by herself. She didn't know if they were alowd to go and talk to people from other houses, but she didn't care. It was a shame that they were now separated, while Phoenix in Hufflepuff and her in Gryffindor, she would miss her.
Sighing, she shrugged, and walked over to Phoenix and tapped on her shoulder. "Hello," she said quietly.

Garret would have repeated exactly what he'd said to the older boy about the girl, but she was already having ten million other conversations with another twenty other people.

How typical of a girl, he thought a little smugly.

Turning back to his food (ah food, now there was one thing he could never detest), he ignored the girl and all other girls... and their chatter.

Pheonix felt someone tap her on the shoulder, she turned and a smile spread across her face as she saw who it was. 'Hi Kairi, how are you? What do you think of this place then, its really cool isn't it?' she said.
