After your journey through a door to the right of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall and down a staircase there, you find yourself standing before a still life painting. Upon giving the correct password, you are allowed access to a warm, welcoming underground room, decorated in the Hufflepuff house colours. Gathered around the large fireplace are several oversized and overfilled plump sofas, which resemble fluffy clouds, and a variety of comfortable armchairs scattered around for you to rest your weary bodies in.

A long table sits in the brightest part of the room (torches are lit all day long) for the students who would rather do their homework in here than in their dormitories or the library.

Portraits of past well-known Hufflepuffs hang on one wall, among them are Cedric Diggory and Nymphadora Tonks, who died in the dark days of You-Know-Who's power, as well as the Fat Friar. Remember and honour them as you walk to or from your dormitories.

Two perfectly round, barrel top doors are positioned on opposing sides of the common room. They both open to reveal underground tunnels which will lead you to your common rooms; boys on the right, girls on the left.

I went to stay with my dad, who is a wizard. I told him about how much I loved sports. He said he was on the house team when he was at Hogwarts. So he taught me how to fly and play a bit.

Diana entered the Hufflepuff common room,exhausted.She had been running throughout the school,to visit the various Professor's for her classes.She felt very tired,and she plopped down into a couch.She turned round to see that Christine,was beside her,busy talking to a boy.She smiled to herself,and muttered,"That's good!She has made some friends.Now she wo'nt feel lonely."Diana herself felt quite lonely,but she was happy to see Christine smiling.She sighed and looked blankly above her,on the ceiling.

"Y--you don't like me shouting?" Rapunzel frowned. "Wh--wait, never mind, I just remembered...not everybody likes Quidditch." She sighed and smacked her hand to her forehead. "I'll be quiet now." Punz nodded and picked up Nacho the pygmy puff, cuddling him in consolation.

She shook her head, begining to wonder if the feline was imagining things. "I think Browny may have startled him," answering, she shrugged.

Hearring a slight 'thud' she spun around where she sat, leaning back abit to see past the side of the couch. Eyebrows raised, gaze once again on Tiger whom by the looks of it charged at the portrait door on the left. As it opened, revealing the torch-lit tunnel, the cat got up and took off at full speed. "Alrighty then" She murmured, more to herself than anyone else. "And Grandma Angelina says his check up went perfectly." That was hard to believe.

Being only a tiny little kitten in a huge, noisy world all on her own would traumatize some for life; though she also had a good chance of recovering, too. "Really?" She asked at this bit of news, looking up and back to Curt again once she realized she was staring absent-mindedly at the bottom of the couch, "I would say maybe she sensed another feline scent on me, but considering her reaction I'm probably wrong."

"Yes, Alexis always means well.." Savannah agreed, slowly. "But she also has fun plotting those ideas. Third year? Oh no, try second" She corrected, grinning with slight amusement. The only thing that had stopped Alexis from making her the main target of her fun was because Alicia was also another favorite, and the now seventh year was always around back then. "Don't get me wrong," Savannah started, seriously "I love Alexis as I would my sisters, maybe even differently, in the way I trust her more than them sometimes," She mused, pressing her lips together to keep the mischivous smile from appearing, and failed miserably. "But I do believe it is time for some overdue revenge."

"Our head of house? Ummm I think it's Professor Shackleton,the Arithmancy teacher.I've not met her yet,though." reaching forward she put Norman down on the floor so he could roll around.

"Oh this?" she said pointing at the yellow fluff ball. "This is a Pygmy Puff I've called Norman.My friend Jenn persuaded me to buy one when we were in Diagon Alley getting our school stuff...isn't he cute!" Sarah watched as he amused himself by rolling around her legs.

"I've been down to the fruitsy tree grove and the library,but no where else yet.I guess I really should have a wander."

Once she was there on her own, Eva began thiking about the summer holidays. it had been great having the guys over her house. Okay, everybody less Jared. it was obvius, even for a strange, how much she disliked Jared.
She wondered why the huffie girls always ended up falling for Slytherins? it was just so... unatural. Weird.
Like Kayla and Nico. Honestly, I can't understand, she thought. The same way she didn't want to understand Kayla's and her own reactions to Jared.
It was better than admit that she... kind of.. liked the Slytherin guys' atitude. And they were usually hot - theses were the thoughts Eve tried to avoid.

Oh boy, if a certain he would know about her thoughts.....

Christine saw Diana walk through the portrait hole looking exhausted. Diana walked over to the couch that Christine was sitting on, sat down, and look up at the ceiling. Hey Diana. Tammy walked in fiddlign with her newly died longer brown hair. Hard getting used to but she could manage it hopefully. It was just an experiment. Having your aunt as a hairdresser helped alot. It did looke really nice but she just hadnt got used to it. As she slid into the seat that sat before her she sisgehd a sigh of relief and smiled at everyone else in there. So far not even Eva had recognised her. It was sort of to keep Jason away from her aswell. She just couldnt believe that he was taking a first year Slytherin and flirtting with her. God, she was such an idiot.

Elan strolled in and smiled. What a great place to hang out. he thought.He felt like he was in a bee's hive with all the yellow and black and he thought the colors really made things pop. He looked around for a nice place to sit, and popped down not minding whether he was going to land on someone or not...until....

She then smiled as Pretzel walked in the room. That girl always had great timing. Might be that SlytherPuff instinct... "It's almost like she's on a sugar high. But worse." She chuckled. She grinned as he then howed enthusiasm. "Well, I'm not the greatest player. I need quite a bit of practice. But you are an amazing player, so I know that you will help us get that Cup!" She pumped her fists dramatically at that last sentence.

Misty the panda had been fast asleep were MJ had left her before she went for a stroll. Misty was fast asleep dreaming of her next prank when all of a sudden she felt like she was being squished by something or someone. She wuickly woke up and began to kick, someone was on top of her and who ever it was she was going to let them know that Misty was not a cushion.

Holly runs in, out of breath, from exploring the castle. Wow, she wonders, this place is so big! All of the magic is incredible. She looks around for an empty seat, spots one by the window, and takes a seat and opens her book for a good read.

A familiar face popped in when the portrait hole opened. Same grey hair and intriguing eyes..Yes it was Elan. Watching him looked around the place with wide opened mouth, he plopped down on something..nah..someone across her couch. "hahaha.." She sighed in relieve and grabbed Ella's hands. "Thank you. I would have ran and hid behind Mads if you tried." She laughed. She was serious though. She would have used him as a shield.

Ella sprang up from the couch, keeping her hands on either side of the hip, "Are you trying to portrait me as a bad girl? not fair.." she pouted playfully, it was her usal thing to play around her friends like that. First Zel now Lima. Girl!

She leaned forward to her, "But dont ever think, I would get scared of your boyfriend. Wipe it off baby," she stuck out her tongue at her, her eyes twinkled.
