After your journey through a door to the right of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall and down a staircase there, you find yourself standing before a still life painting. Upon giving the correct password, you are allowed access to a warm, welcoming underground room, decorated in the Hufflepuff house colours. Gathered around the large fireplace are several oversized and overfilled plump sofas, which resemble fluffy clouds, and a variety of comfortable armchairs scattered around for you to rest your weary bodies in.

A long table sits in the brightest part of the room (torches are lit all day long) for the students who would rather do their homework in here than in their dormitories or the library.

Portraits of past well-known Hufflepuffs hang on one wall, among them are Cedric Diggory and Nymphadora Tonks, who died in the dark days of You-Know-Who's power, as well as the Fat Friar. Remember and honour them as you walk to or from your dormitories.

Two perfectly round, barrel top doors are positioned on opposing sides of the common room. They both open to reveal underground tunnels which will lead you to your common rooms; boys on the right, girls on the left.

Addy looked up from her Potions homework when someone sat down in one of the chairs sort of near her. He seemed to be avoiding people, so she returned to her work without comment.

Maddox sauntered into the common room. He had just gotten out of his Astronomy Final and was pretty content with his test. Suddenly he stoped. The target of his quest was sitting infront of him. He growled very faintly and put his bag down noting Zeph hadnt seen him yet. He pulled out his wand and walked up to him, placing the tip of his wand securely at his neck. "You are coming with me. And dont try anything. I'm faster and much stronger then you are Zeph."

Maddox pulled the kid up by his right arm and held on so tight it was sure to cut the circulation to his arm. Maddox conjured to patronuses, whispered a message for each of them and sent them on their ways. "Lets go." Maddox marched towards the door pulling Zeph along with him. He pushed open it open and headed towards the grounds.

Zeph jumped and would have ran if there wasn't a wand at his Neck. But then he knew if he didn't try to get away it would not be only Maddox it would also be Nico and Zeph couldn't imagine the two of them both against him. They always hated each other that much that Zeph only had to deal with one at a time at Durmstrang. He went pale when he saw patronus messages and then he was being dragged out of the common room.

Addelaide watched the two boys curiously, not sure if she should step in. Zeph clearly looked as though this was not some sort of game...
