After your journey through a door to the right of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall and down a staircase there, you find yourself standing before a still life painting. Upon giving the correct password, you are allowed access to a warm, welcoming underground room, decorated in the Hufflepuff house colours. Gathered around the large fireplace are several oversized and overfilled plump sofas, which resemble fluffy clouds, and a variety of comfortable armchairs scattered around for you to rest your weary bodies in.

A long table sits in the brightest part of the room (torches are lit all day long) for the students who would rather do their homework in here than in their dormitories or the library.

Portraits of past well-known Hufflepuffs hang on one wall, among them are Cedric Diggory and Nymphadora Tonks, who died in the dark days of You-Know-Who's power, as well as the Fat Friar. Remember and honour them as you walk to or from your dormitories.

Two perfectly round, barrel top doors are positioned on opposing sides of the common room. They both open to reveal underground tunnels which will lead you to your common rooms; boys on the right, girls on the left.

Maddox walked into the common room. He didnt care who was in there at the moment he just wanted to be alone. He couldnt believe that lima would do this to him. Not his lima. He plopped down in a chair, put his elbow on the arm rest and placed his hand to his forehead. He sighed deeply and let the scene he saw play over and over in his head.

He was so angry. But he wouldnt let lima know what was wrong. He was going to be the bigger person, no pun intended, and pretend he hadnt seen it. he stretched his legs out and crossed one foot over the other, and still had his hand to his forehead. He wasnt happy, and wasnt sure when he would be again.

Lima practically skipped into the Common Room, looking for Mads. She was eager to find him so that she could tell him about the surprise arrival of Kyler. And maybe have them meet each other so that the jealously issue could be put to rest at last.

She smiled widely as she stopped right in front of him and said, "guess what just happened?" cheerfully. "Oh, and your hair is long now! I'll never get used to it but it looks amazing." She giggled. It was a moment before she saw that he looked unhappy. "What's the matter?" she asked, suddenly concerned.

Great. She was skipping. She never skipped for him before. Maddox was getting angrier by the second but he kept his cool. 'be like nico. Fake and distant.' He thought to himself.

"Thank you." He replied indifferently, removing his hand from his forhead. "What happened?" He said just as indifferently, but holding back the fire in his eyes as much as possible. "Nothings wrong." His answers were short, he wanted her to realize what he had seen, but he wasnt going to tell her.

'How could she,' was all he could think in his head. He stood and looked at her, "I'm just fine Lima." He almost growled. He wanted to yell at her, 'Whigalima how could you?' but he didnt. He held is tounge. It was harder to be like Nico then he expected.

Trying to hide his sarcasim, he clenched his left hand into a fist. 'He's no friend of mine,' he thought to himself.

He still couldnt look at her when she hugged him. He was to angry to reciprocate the hug. He did not wrap his arms around her. He tried not to push her away from him, no matter how badly he wanted too. He mummbled "Whatever," and shook his head.

Maddox took a deep breath and clenched his fists, along with his jaw. He finally looked at her directly in the eyes. It was the hardest thing he had to do in a long time, but if he didnt get away from her, he would explode. He sighed and said, "I've got homework to do. I will see you later." He kissed her gently on the cheek and walked away towards the boys dorm. This time he didnt hold back the fire from reaching his eyes. It was there, and it would stay there till he had to pretend he wasnt mad again. He opened the door and walked into the corridor to get to his room. He slammed the door shut as he went, hoping she would get the hint.

She just nodded at him, not really caring anymore if he stayed or went. He was being such a jerk to her for no reason. She made no reaction when he kissed her and she didn't kiss him back. When he stormed off to his dorm she was tempted to yell after him, "good riddance!!"

She plopped herself down on a chair and was tempted to cry. He had never been so angry before and she was scared that he was growing tired of her. Or that she had done something without knowing it. She just hoped that he would feel happier soon...

MJ outstretched her left hand as her book came towards her and Penny. It was a simple yet elegant book. It was in perfect condition but you could tell that it had been used on many occasions, it's skin tanned and polished to a smooth golden brown, its cover appeared and felt like fine leather, and it's wonderful smell. It smelled of lilies, and lavenders. As soon as MJ put down her wand the book began to glow and she quickly put her wand back inside her boot. She smiled at Penny and then grabbed the book carefully.

"This book has been in my family for centuries everyone passes it down, no one has the original copy,sadly." she said and then looked at Penny. "My grandfather was obsess that someone would steal it so after he died, he asked in his will to make the book cover with his skin," she shivered, "This made the book sacred and it is protected by him." she smiled once more. "No one dares touches it, it's in the house behind a protected shelf made of glass."

"Anyways it has all sorts of information on anything you want to know, but I'm not sure if it talks about people, its awfully big and it will take a while but i think i will be able to find out something about this April, she might have been in the family."

Slowly the glow began to fade from the book

Penny watched the book. It was kinda creepy. Then when MJ explained about her grandfather, she was really creeped out, but if it helped MJ out she was going to help. "Well all we can do is hope that here is something in there." she said and watched at the glow faded,

Lenae enters the Common Room quietly. The day had passed in a haze that she could barely see out of for classes. She grimaces slightly, considering how fun this is going to make homework, and sits crosslegged on the floor with her Charms book.

Vannie wandered into the common room, brushing her hair out of her face as she did so. She knew why she was here really, she wanted to get away from everyone and she knew here was ideal. She didn't know that may hufflepuff's so she'd be fine here.
Sitting down on a sofa she closed her eyes and sighed. She just needed to think.

Lima was sitting on the sofa reading - or more like trying to read - a book. This was the first time that she had been in the Common Room since the fight, and she was still so uncomfortable here. Plus there was the fact that Mads might come down here at some point. And if that happened, she would just leave. And so she was checking the room every few minutes or so to see if he was there.

Lima bit her lip slightly. Isn't everything complicated these days? She put her book down and slid over closer to Vannie to make it easier for them to talk. "Okay, tell me what's up," she said noticing the frown. I wonder if it's related to Miles.

Vannie rested her head against the back of the sofa as she looked at Lima. "It's Miles," She spoke quietly, as if she thought that some body was going to overhear and go running off to tell Miles. "I think he's keeping something from me," She frowned a little bit as she looked down at the floor.
