As if on cue, and gorgeous as ever, Hugo Jermaine Woods dawdled along the corridor. It was funny that he felt the need to take a peek at the hourglasses, just at the same time that his Lettie Loo was having a look too. His shirt was slightly hanging out of his off-grey trousers, which just about covered his black, polished shoes. As he approached the hourglasses, he began to whistle a tune to himself, and ruffled his hair slightly as he began to peer at Slytherin's emeralds which, funnily enough, were the exact same colour as his eyes. RESULT! They had the biggest point count.
Weyhey.
A smug grin flashed across Hugo's face, as he turned to jeer at whoever was standing nearby. Wait...LETTIE! "Lettiiiiiie!" He crooned, flinging himself upon her and pressing his lips to her forehead. "And Starling! Darling, it's been too long!" He proceeded to plant a kiss on her cheek, and then beamed at the two girls.

Speak of the devil, he had to have some kind of sensor implanted in his brain or something. How was it possible that Starling had JUST mentioned Hugo and he had popped out of thin air? Seeing Evolette and Hugo greet each other in that fasion, she smiled slightly to herself. She was glad that they weren't fighting again.
Startled slightly at the kiss on the cheek by Hugo, Starling held her ground, remembering Evolette's words that rang clearly through her mind. Always take a compliment as though you deserve every word. Yes, the kiss wasn't really a compliment but she still had to control the emotions that scrolled across her face. Holding her calm and breathing in slowly, controlling the butterflies that were fluttering like mad in her stomach, she flashed a small smile in acknowlegment. "Hugo." She said, looking at his perfectly ruffled hair. "It has been too long. What have you been up to all this time?" | |

Patting her back affectionately, Hugo planted another kiss on his best friend's head. Lalala. Evolette held back a chuckle as Hugo popped one of the buttons off of his shirt. What a little spaz. Her little spazz. Aww. Without a word, she patted his shoulder comfortingly and slid her arm though his, resting some of her weight on him, because she could.
"Lazy little thing he is." she replied, smirking at the mention of her kitten, "I swear the only thing he does all day is sleep on my pillow, and at night, he wants to play." She rolled her eyes. Even if the little monster was a brat, she loved him to bits. "I think he misses his Daddy." she added, nudging him with an arched eyebrow.
Her cool eyes focused on Starling for a moment, taking in the younger girl's features. She had potential. A LOT of potential, and Evolette was going to see to it that said potential would be put to good use. | |
