Lainey didn't get dressed up for class, or bring fun things with her. As much as she tried not to be, she was still sore with her students from last class. So, instead of going outside or having fun - they'd have a real history lesson.
She stood with her arms folded at her door, holding it open for her class.

Through gritted teeth Kingston scowled at the professor as she confessed her love to him in front of the whole class. Well, he really didn't care about the class but he sure cared about false pretenses! "I'd prefer to rot before I hug you, professor. No offence, of course." Kingston told her, trying to keep a straight face up. His eyes widened slightly as she blew kisses for him, not believing that she actually thought he loved her! "Ugh. How revolting," he muttered, trying his best not to gag.
With a loud groan, he placed his head on the desk. Well, more like hit and said. "Whyyy?! Why can't you for ONCE have a normal History lesson that I would enjoy? This isn't History! This is child's play! For God's sake woman, grow up!" Kingston told her as he lifted up his head from the table and ran both his hands through his hair, almost ripping out the roots.

Sapphire walked over to the trunk and looked through it she couldn't find anything that she liked in there so she went back to her table and saw a paper bag in her school bag she picked it up and cut out two eye holes and put it over her head she sat there and waited for the professor to continue.

It was obvious that he couldn't fight her no longer. Whatever he said was either shooed off or be twisted and turned into new words that are the opposite of what he was saying! With a sigh, Kingston accepted defeat and stood up. Folding his arms, he walked over to Professor Lainey and looked down at her with an unsatisfied look. "When I'm going to graduate, I'll be thrilled to not wearing any costumes anymore." He told her, frowning.
Bending down Kingston looked through the costumes and pulled out one that seemed... odd to him. They were raggdy black and brown cloths with what seemed to be a stick tagged along. He blinked as he lifted it up. Should he wear it? With a slight shrug, he pointed his wand at the clothes and with a quick flick, he found himself wearing the clothes he had picked out.
Well, it didn't... really represent himself or his past.
Lifting up the bluish stick, Kingston looked at it with interest and then looked back at Lainey. "May I ask what am I wearing?" He frowned, not really figuring out what he was. One thing he was sure about, he was not cupid.

Whitney looked around the room and saw others either showing off their costumes or putting them on. Now that Whitney actually looked at her costume she started laughing out loud. At least if she wore it outside,this time of year, she wouldn't be cold. "Well here goes nothing." she said out loud and slipped into her costume.

Cale had no clue how to dress appropriately so that people could guess his top ten moments...he figured they would get them just fine without the help of some ridiculous costume. He chuckled at Kingston, who was carrying some oversized blue wand and looked like he was getting ready to go on a cameling expedition in the Sahara and then walked over to the trunk himself. He dug around in it a little bit before finally selecting his costume with a shrug and heading back to his seat.
First, he had grabbed a red striped sweater and slipped it on over his white uniform shirt. Then he grabbed the plaid beret...thing that he had seen and stuck it on over his curly brown hair, and then picked up the oversized black glasses he had found sitting on top of all the stuff in the trunk. Thankfully they weren't real glasses, so he could still see clearly, and he was quite certain he looked like a loony right now.

Vanessa smiled as she looked in the trunk of dressing up clothes. This should be interesting. Looking through them she found a silver tiara thing which had something that looked like purple netting attached to it. Picking it up, she looked if there was anything that she could put with it, and a found something that looked like a purple top. She decided that this would be her costume. Picking the two items up she returned to her desk and put them on.

Seeing that everyone else had already started putting on their costumes, Astrid took of her robes and slipped hers on as well. When she was finished, she looked like this. She looked at her reflection in the mirror and smiled. Hopefully everyone would be able to figure out her Top Ten list right away.
Barry was too slow all the costumes had gone and there was onle left a horrible geeky costume which would keep him locked up in his common rooms till the end of term he quickly put the wig on top of his real hair put on the coat and bow tie and the horrible glasses and slipped on the glasses and returned to his desk hoping no one would notice him like this

Helena sighed, and frowned sadly at the fact that she was there without any friends to have gotten her there. She resentfully walked up to the front of the room and rummaged through the trunk. Finally finding something that represented her, Helena returned to her seat next to Cale in her costume. It felt oddly natural, as this was what she used to wear on a daily basis. She had to chuckle at Cale's costume - and his glasses.

Rapunzel had already turned in her list, now she just had to figure out what costume to pick. She sorted through the trunk of crazy stuffs but was more distracted by what the other students had picked. Why, look at that Kingston Wendleworth...mmm mmm mmm, she thought, trying to keep her jaw from dropping when the older Puff found a Jedi costume. She shook her head to keep from being distracted, then finally found something that would work.
Punz slipped her costume on and adjusted the wings, then fixed her wig and skipped back to her seat. She would've preferred her naturally blonde hair but eh, this was more of a natural look.

Lucas just looked up at him. What was his problem? There was no reason to just be nasty for the sake of trying to appear tough. The boy was clearly a very unhappy person, and it was sad to be so young and so unhappy, and then to take pleasure in making others unhappy just baffled Lucas. "Well if what I said didn't effect you, you wouldn't be getting so upset." He pointed out to him. "And my name is Lucas, Lucas Greenwood." He wasn't going to let that boy bully him. He packed up his things to move to another desk. He didn't need that sort of negativity in his life. His mother always told him misery loved company and Lucas' dance car was already full. "I hope you have a nice day sir. Everyone deserves a smile once in awhile." He said before moving to another desk across the room.

Lucas happily waited his turn to pick out a costume. He loved playing dress up. It was fun and his dad had some cool things to dress up in. Lucas liked his daddy's leather jacket. It smelled like his dad and it was always warm. He went over to the trunk and jumped into. He dug around and around looking for something that represent him. "I found it!" He cried climbing out of the trunk and wiggling into his costume. He looked down at himself and laughed himself silly at what he was wearing. He skipped back to his desk to write his mommy a letter about what they were doing in class. She would love this, he thought to himself.

Daphne sat a little longer to write out her list. She didn't think she had a particularly eventful life so far, but did her best. After finishing, she got up to pick out a costume. She had a clear idea of what she was going for, something pretty, something dramatic, something glamorous. She found a few costumes that fit some of those descriptions, but they felt cheap, and Daphne didn't want such fabric irritating her skin.
After a while, she found one that fit all three. It was a pretty complicated number, but Daphne was set. She walked off to a corner to get prepared, and came out looking like a younger version of Cleopatra, black hair and all. She thought she looked wonderful, and cheerfully emerged from her changing cocoon a different girl. She glided over to the rest of the class to continue with the lesson.
Lainey took the time that the students used to get dressed to arrange the lists on the board and write out each of her students' names. "Alright class! The lists are up. Take your time and see if you can figure who is who and see if you learn anything from the history of your peers."

Lainey got a good look at her students. Some - well some were just hilarious... a bear? A wildcat of some sort? And who knew what exactly Kingston was wearing... And then there were others that looked lovely, and a little bit silly. She got stuck on Camira though and a huge, huge frown and large crease between her eyes marked her face. Lainey was not pleased at all with her choice of costume.

Helena looked around, surveying the class, trying to determine who was who. When the lists came up, she scanned them quickly, frowning slightly as her bright blue eyes passed over her own. She sighed and allowed her eyes to wander the room again, trying to use her keen sense of knowing to match the person to the events/people. She smiled and jotted down Cale's name next to his corresponding number right away. This would be fun.

Astrid was having the hardest time trying to match each list with its rightful owner. She decided to go ahead and give it a try. There were at least two that she was positive of. And she was pretty sure that anyone that knew her, was gonna guess hers straight away. She jotted down her guesses and lifted them up for the class to see.

Daniel got to his knees and went through his things he needed a much better bag to put his things on. He then grabbed a quill and had his seat. He then thinks to himself. Daphne looked at the board and saw the students and their lists. She was ashamed to know so little about her peers. She was able to easily identify her list, but beyond that she was clueless. In all her years at Hogwarts, to be so clueless about so many was pathetic. She needed to correct this, so she walked around, smiling friendly at the others in costume. She told a few how fun their costumes were. Anything to spark a chat or something.
