Freya looked up from her plants, she was done, and didn't feel like talking much more. She'd never had to work with plants like this before, her mother liked to take care of that, and almost all of her personal stores were bottled up or dried, or prepared. 'It was a good first step.' She thought, 'Not difficult at all really.' Freya looked down at her notebook again and made some minor changes and updates, things were going well so far, perhaps the class would be more interesting than she originally thought. Looking up again, Freya waited for further instruction.
Looking across the crowded room, Freya spotted Raine, and gave a small, friendly wave.

Miranda looked up from her notebook, and looked around the class. She smiled to herself as a few students laughed. Looking down again to scribble she noticed the book had some brown smudges here and there ''oh well thats nice...'' she shrugged and instead started to check her nails for some more dirt

"Well I heard there were Arithmancy yesterday, but I didn't know about it until it was almost over, so I didn't go.. And anyway I had to bring Erica to the Hospital wing. Did you see her head? It was all bloody..."Lizzie said to Shaylee, and had a hard time keeping her voice down. She took a deep breath and calmed down. In a whisper she continued. "So tecnically this is my first lesson as well. I'm glad you're here Shaylee, and that I met you Reine. I felt a bit lonely when everybody found a partner but I didn't.." She continued taking care of the plants as she spoke. Herbology wasn't that hard, she had done almost the same thing when helping her mother with her plants at home.

Via noticed LIzzie, the girl she had met at the dormitory. She gave a little wave to her and smiled as she tied her dirty blonde hair on a ponytail so it won't get dirty coz it's a bit long now.

yea i saw that arithamancy was yesterday too, but i couldn't make it either. i saw Erica! i felt terrible! how is she? is she still in the hospital wing? Shaylee was still pulling the plants as she spoke.

"Yeah I know," Rachel nodded back, and started tending to Via's plant as well.
"Um, not really," she replied in a whisper to the question. "I mean, don't get me wrong, it's nice to get your hands dirty once in a while, but I'm not really that interested in plants. Do you like it?" she asked, curious.

"Yeah. A bit," Via whispered and smiled at rachel. "But i enjoy working on it." She kept on tending the plants but making sure she's no overdoing it.

"Oh she was so sick, it was like she couldn't walk herself so I helped her to get to the hospitalwing and we met this very rude nurse in the waitingroom, and she thought it was rather seriously so she sent us to nurse Numel, in the Hospital Ward." Lizzie got a worried look on her face and her voice got low. "I hope she's okey.."

ooc: That's all that has happened, we're still waiting for nurse Numel but she hasn't come to examine Erica yet. So I'm still there, but still attending class.. weird i know but let's just say Erica's still there with nurse Numel.. or something..

Helena smiled. It's nice to meet you, as well. Helena scribbled a few things in her notes, remembering them from a class she had last year. Well, to be honest, this is my first year here. Even though... well, today is my 14th birthday. Helena tried to smile, but her bright blue eyes faded noticeably to light purple.

oh poor poor Erica!! i do hope shes feeling alright! i wonder what happened to her? Shaylee asked worridly. Still tending to the plants, she said do you like Herbology so far? Shaylee tried her best to sound happy, but she felt so bad for Erica, that even she noticed the nervousness in her voice.

"Yeah, I really feel sorry for her.." Lizzie said. She tried to smile a bit and said. "Well I think herbology's interesting and all, but not as hard as I thought it would be. But I guess that's fine anyway.. " She was silent for a second, concentrating on the plants, but couldn't stop thinking about Erica. "Do you know if there are any magical deceases that can't be fixed with magic?" she asked worried.

There are some im sure. But Erica will be fine. Im positive. Shaylee said altought she wasn't positive. She was very worried for her friend. I hope we figure out soon.

Rachel nodded, understanding. She tended to the plant for a while in silence, then said, "I think we're almost done here. The professor said not to make it too perfect. What do you think?" Rachel asked Via.

After she finished her notes, Qaz smiled and Miranda and said, 'Well, I wonder what's next?'

"Mhmm I hope so" Lizzie said, not really sure.. "But let's concentrate on the lesson instead, it only makes me feel sad thinking about stuff like that.. " she said, thinking about Erica. "Do you have any idea what we're doing next? I'm not sure if we can ask the professor, what if he doesn't wanna get disturbed..?" she said in a low voice.

Im a little confuzed myself. Im not really sure what were supposed to do next. Shaylee wispered. Do you even see the profesor? Shaylee looked around the room but couldn't find him.

Via glanced at Rahel's plants, "Yeah! that's enough for now," she whispered. "I hope this wouldn't be the last time we'll have a chat." Via really wanted to have friends .

"No, that's true." Lizzie whispered. What kind of professor left the lesson? But then she remembered something about him saying he would be gone for a while, and that they should just keep working on the plants on their own. "I hope he's comming back soon, I think most of the students are done with the plants.." she said.

Mariel had been sitting quietly in the back of the class listening attentively to the professor's instructions and watching the students around her in silent observation. At the mention of partners, she had at once spotted Sarah on the other side of the room and had started to make her way over to see if she'd want to partner up, but an older girl beat her to it. Shrugging to herself, Mariel turned back to her seat and watched as seemingly everyone else found partners. I'd probably work better alone anyway, she thought as she grabbed a planter. Putting on her gloves, her expression turned to that of disgust as the professor announced to the class "No gloves." Fabulous.

She got to work, without gloves, transplanting the larger plants and culling the dying plants, growing increasingly annoyed at the incessant chatter disrupting her concentration. Mariel spotted one girl who wasn't talking to anyone, just doing her work, and thought maybe she didn't have a partner either. She was a little anxious about getting in trouble for not having a partner especially since she didn't speak up when the professor asked who didn't have one. Mariel walked up to the girl and gave her an appraising look before stating flatly, "We're partners."

I think he said he'd be right back. Shaylee said remebering hime saying something like that. Im not really sure what to do. I hope he comes back to.

"I don't want it to be either!" Rachel whispered happily. "Where are you usually? We can arrange to meet there. Or we could talk in the Great Hall. Whatever you decide, I don't really care," she said softly, offering a solution.

As she looked around the room Sarah caught sight of Mariel over the other side of the room.
If only I'd seen her before I would have said hi.

Slowly walking around the back of some other students she went up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder.
"Hey! I didn't see you come in.How are you getting on?"

Lizzie looked around at the other students. "Looks like everybody's just talking." She turned back to Shaylee. "So, what should we talk about? Where do you live?" She tried to come up with a good question, and just picked one. It was interestiong, so why not ask?

I live in London with my parents and my little sister. how about you? Shaylee just finished her last plant while talking to Erica. She smiled at her.
