Kairi jumped, "Me? What do you mean?" she asked in an anxious voice.

Lizzie's eyes got wide. He liked Kairi! Wow, she turned to Kairi to see her reaction.. She seemed to be a bit shocked, and anxious.

Erica smiled at Shaylee and said "My dad let me ride on his broom when i was younger. He taught me some about flying, but not much. I love the feeling of wind in your hair and the speed of the broom. So i like flying, but i haven't done it very often."Drinking some pumpkin juice she asked "So are you going to try out for the Quidditch team or maybe play in the Gobstones game?" Erica sat next to Lizzie trying to understand what she, maggie and Kairi were talking about but to no avail. Poking her friend gently in the side she whispered "Liz, what are you guys talking about? Boyfriends?"

Kairi looked at Lizzie in disbelif, a-boy-liked...her! She shook her head and took a big gulp of pumkin juice.
Deep down this felt wrong, but know one, not even her, knew this...

Lizzie turned to Erica. "Sorry if I left you outside the contersation, didn't mean to" she said, regretful. After a quick glance at Kairi and Edward, she continued. "I think Kairi and Edward are just about to tell the other they like each other." She grinned. "They're so cute.. Don't you think?" Lizzie concentrated on Erica for a while. "What we're we talking about? Quidditch? I hope I'll be able to try out for the team... A bit nervous about that." She went silent for a second. "When will the speech be? Soon I'm too tired to wait any longer."

Kairi awaited Edward's answer anxiously, her pale cheeks showing no sign of embarrassment. She looked at Lizzie, Maggie, Erica and Rosa and then shot a quick glance at Chris who was sitting further down the table. She ate some chips and sipped her pumpkin juice, all the while her heart was beating extremely fast, a feeling she'd only had once before.

Unfortunately nobody moved plates with sweets from Maggie, and her will wasnt so strong, so she kept eating. She saw that boy, Edward, who gave Kairi the potion. He was really hendsome. She was looking at them, thinking that this is really nice, and wished that to Kairi, then Lizzie asked her if she was ever in love. She looked at her, surprised,"Hmm, nope,"she admitted."Iave hnever though about that at all, you know."she added. She was watching Lizzie talking about her previous 'love', seeing that sad expression in her eyes.

Then Chris suddenly stood up,"Hey, where did he go?"she asked her friends.

"Talking about Quidditch, the game sounds really great! Cant wait to fly!"she said, excited. "You know, its new for me, but it just attracts me so much"she added, blushing a little.

Kairi turned to Maggie and shrugged her shoulders. "He said he'd just seen his friend or something like that, although, it almost sounded like he wanted to get away from us as quickly as possible," she said glumly, resting her head onto the table, her eyes drooping.

"Why is your heart beating so fast?", Edward asked.

She looked at him. "Because of what you said, you said there was only me, what did you mean by that?" she asked curiously.

Livvy walked towards the Gryffindor table, tired and bored. There wasn't a soul she could talk to at the Ravenclaw table. As she reached the table, her eyes widened to see Edward talking to Kairi. Livvy smiled at Kairi and Edward and Maggie. "Hey," she said, sitting down next to Maggie. "What happened?" Livvy whispered inquiringly.

Kairi groaned jokingly as Livvy sat down, "Hello Livvy, you always show up at just the right moment don't you?" she said, grinning.

Livvy grinned and shrugged. "I try," she said, humorously. She eyed Edward suspiciously. Why was he here? Did he really like Kairi. "So Mr. Edward. What brings you here?" Livvy asked casually as she took an apple and bit into it.

"I ment you were the only one I like", he whispered.

Kairi looked at Edward, stunned. "You mean like, or like like," she whispered back.

Livvy's eyes widened slightly as she watched what was going on between Edward and Kairi and as she caught bits of what they were saying. So the boy wasn't kidding, after all. But Livvy still felt suspicious of Edward.

Kairi looked at Livvy nervously. She was looking at Edward suspiciously, and Kairi didn't blame her. It was good that her friend was looking out for her, she gave her a small smile, and then ate another chip.

"thats cool, iv'e only rode on one a little bit to. We don't see my cousin Jimmy very often but when we do i normally go on his broom at least once. I might try out for the team, it sounds like fun!" Shaylee turned to Lizzie and listened to what they were saying. She smiled and pretended to know what they were talking about until she could catch on.

Cale walked--well, kind of stomped--over to the Gryffindor table after his little conversation at the Slytherin table. Nico and Evangeline were just...GAH. He couldn't stand either of them. He couldn't believe Nico actually wanted to THROW him out of the table. Jerk.

"Hey," he said with a smile as he sat down next to Anna again, his troubles with the Slytherin's already forgotten. "Did I miss anything?" he asked.

Liesel's eyes fell on a few familiar faces as she made her way to the Gryffindor table.

"Anna! Cale!" she called, as she took a seat next to them. She couldn't help but be dazzled by the delicious-looking food that surrounded her. No joke...she was starving. All this Hogwarts-nervousness could make a girl hungry. She indiscreetly yanked a turkey leg and plopped it on her plate.

"How are you guys? Man, I'm so- Paul Kutcher...," Liesel trailed off, her attention ripped from her friends to a carving on the table. She furrowed her brow and looked questioningly to Cale and Anna, "Who's Paul Kutcher?"

Anna blinked and jumped back in surprise as she watched Cale stomp back over to the Gryffindor table, clearly annoyed at something that had happened over at the Slytherin table. Must be that Evangeline girl again. Or better yet, maybe it was Evolette again! One could only hope...

"Hey," Anna said, smiling playfully as he sat back down. "Is everything okay with you, Cale? You look...annoyed at something." Anna stood for a second then moved to sit sideways in her seat so that she was facing Cale. "The Slytherins aren't bothering you again, are they? Oh, and I have no idea what you missed. I just got back myself. I saw Seth and Nico standing around nearby and went to say hey."

"Well, there you are!" Anna exclaimed, turning her head to see Liesel finally walk up. "Well, one thing's for sure, Liesel. One can never get by with accusing you of being an early bird." Amma smiled to let her new friend know she was only kidding with that last comment. "I'm doing pretty good, actually. It feels good to be back at school with the....boys," she said, turning back around to smile at Cale.

"Oh, and Paul Kutcher...he's like my dad's age or something now. I don't really know. All I know is that he was a Hufflepuff who went to Hogwarts around the same time my dad did," Anna explained. "Who knows why he felt the need to carve his name into our table, though."

Some girl came and sit next to Maggie, it looked like she knew Kairi. "Hi,"she said to her,"I'm Maggie! You?"She saw she has had the details on her robe in blue, altough Maggie did have them in red,"Oh, you are from another house, arent you?"she asked her. "Wow, nice!"she said, happily she met some of the members of other houses, she smiled at unknown girl.

Kairi was whispering with Edward, what made Maggie little uncomfortable, she felt like some spy, but she was just sitting where she was, so whe turned to the unknown girl hoping, tha she will talk to her as quickly as possible.

"Ehh, it's nothng," Cale said with a shrug. "Just Nico. Can you believe he actually asked Evangeline if he had permission to use his wand against me? The nerve of that slimy, stinking, Slytherin prat," he grumbled. "Hey Liesel! Pardon me and my stomping around," he chuckled. Those stupid Slytherins.

"Paul Kutcher?" he asked, wrinkling his eyebrows. "My dad knew him too...he wasn't a Hufflepuff, he was a Slytherin. My dad was good friends with him." he told her.

Oya approached the Gryffindor table with a huge smile playing on her lips. It was her sixth year and she was looking forward to it. She took a sit near some girls and started filling her mouth with whatever was near her.

Kairi notcied a girl who was completely stuffing her face, "Calm down, or there won't be enough for the rest of us," she said, grinning.
