Edward smiled. "How is it?", he asked.

"Amazing," Kairi said grinning, and she meant it. It was like something out of a dream, she could see the enchanted ceiling as it twinkled above her, the wooden tables covered with magnificent looking food, and thousands of babbling students. She looked at Edward, seeing him for the first time, he was handsome, yes, but she didn't go for looks, she went for personality, but he had let her see. "Thanks," she said, giving him a small smile.

Edward smiled back. "Your welcome", he said.

She smiled at him, and then looked at her reflection in a nearby shiny saucepan. All her life, she had thought of herself as ugly, but now she saw herself for the first time and she thought that she was...pretty. She had shoulder-length red hair and a neat side-fringe, and her eyes, she'd gone through life hating them, but they were amazing, a light with life and a magnificent purple. She looked down at her feet, she was wearing pink converses, and her black, gold and red Hogwarts robes. She looked at her complection, she was pale, as white as snow. She looked back at Edward. "Wow," she muttered quietly to herself.

You never realize how nice you look until you see it for yourself", Edward smiled.

Kairi nodded and smiled back at him. "I can't tell you how thankful I am," she said, her purple eyes never leaving his face. "It's like being in a whole new world,"

"Do I get a hug?", edward laughed.

Kairi hugged him, a big grin on her face, "Thank you,"

Edward hugged her back. "how about I take you to Madame Puddifoots in hogsmede sometime?"

Kairi looked at him and raised her eyebrow. "Madame Pudifoots? Ok, but insn't that a place for couples?"

Edward paused,"so"

"So what?" Kairi asked, a small smile on her face.

'I dont care..." edward smiled.

Kairi grinned. "Ok, what ever you say," she said, her purple eyes fixed onto his topaz ones. She looked away and popped another chip in her mouth, this was going to be a great year, she thought to herself.

Robert caught sight of Sabrina glancing at him and stood up from the Ravenclaw table and headed toward the Gryffindor. He doubted anyone noticed from his table since he didn't know any of the Ravenclaws. Walking up behind Sabrina he smiled and whispered in her ear, "I saw that." He nodded to the girls she was talking to, "Hello ladies. I'm Robert."

Sabrina sat up straight and then bit her lip as she heard Robert behind her. Of all the things he had to do! Well he was her friend wasn't he? "You were looking?" she asked giggling. "Guys this, like he said, is Robert. I met him in Diagon Alley and well he's a really good friend." She was trying her best to keep her hair under control and stop itfrom going even more red out of embarrassment.

Edward grabbed a chip too and smiled.

"You smile a lot, don't you?" Kairi said, popping another chip in her mouth. "You have a nice smile now i can see it," she said, eating another chip, but her purple eyes never left his face.

Robert laughed, "Well since I don't really know anyone over there it's a bit hard not to keep my eyes from wandering." He nodded toward them all, "Pleasure to meet you. Yes, she was kind enough to show me around," he added with a smirk.

"Very nice to meet you Nate" she said with a shy smile. She always had problems communicating with boys, never knew what to say. Even though she wasn't in love with them an didn't even know them, her mouth got dry and she always felt red in her face. But Nate seemed nice, maybe they would be able to be friends? "No, I'm acctually a muggleborn." she continued. "Didn't even know wizards excisted before I got my letter. Quite a chock, it was. But I don't mind, really, being a beginner at everything that has to do with magic, and I don't think there is any difference in knowledge or personality. What about you? Pureblood?"

Lizzie followed the conversation between Kairi and Edward, and saw with happyness how Kairi opened her eyes. A light had been lightened in them, and they seemed to be on fire and alive. With tears of happyness in her eyes, Lizzie watched her friend look around, and see herself for what had to be the first time. "Oh, I'm so happy for you, Kairi. It most be amazing to be able to see, after what you've been through, with being blind and everything." She turned to Edward. "Is it permanent or just for a while?" she asked with the happy smile still on her face. "And who made that potion? May I suppose you did it?" she smiled "I didn't know it was possible to cure blindness."

Maggie realized that with good food she oftens just enjoy the snacks and don't really listen to conversation. She was in the middle of lemon cheescake, when she heard Lizzie talking to Kairi, about Kairi not being blind.

"What?"she looked, confused on Kairi, seeing that her purple eyes are more..alive."Whoa, Kairi! I..thats amazing! Wow, I'm speechless", she said, cheescake all over the table. "Hm, sorry for that,"she smiled.

"Wow, Kairi, I really wish you this,"she said, and meant it. "But, how did that happen?"she asked, feeling little guilty, because certainly she could see it, but..Ok, I know, I just love food, and, hmm,"she tought to herself. She added another "Wow!", and was just watching Kairi,
stinned.

Kairi hugged Lizzie again. "I can see you!" she exclaimed happily. "Wow, you're pretty," she said with a grin. "and I can see you, too," she said to Maggie. "Whoa, this is really weird!" she said, a dazed look on her face.

Lizzie hugged Kairi once more, happy for her friend. "Oh I'm so glad you can see! How does it feel? Did you expect it to look like this? Expect everyone to look like this?"

She turned to Maggie for a minute. "Oh you missed it? Edward came here and gave her a bottle of something to put in her eyes. Amazing... But wait a second, where have you been the last ten minutes?" she added with strengt in her voice, but then it turned into laughter. She was just joking. Anyone could get dreamy, with all the food and the great hall and the whole atmosphere. She smiled.

Kingston chuckled at her squeaky like reply as they slowly walked away from the table, pulling Miss Roscoe along with him. "Don't be absurd, Miss Roscoe. It would be quite rude to call you by your first name." The blond told her with a small smile. He never had called a person by the first name. Well, other than Lindsey who practically forced him to call her by his first name. This goes for Francesca as well. Nikolai's past girlfriend. Merlin's that girl was a fright! He remembered her threatening him for calling her Miss Clairmonte.

Placing Miss Roscoe's hand onto his arm, he took a view more steps and disappeared from the Gryffindor Table's sight, heading towards the Ravenclaw Table.

"It feels really weird," Kairi rubbed her eyes and when she brought her hands away, her eyes were an even more vivid purple. "It's the strangest thing I've ever been through," She paused and looked around, the misty things were gone, she wasn't haunted by them anymore, yet she still felt their presence. She pushed off her converses and placed her feet onto the floor, she couldn't feel the vibrations anymore. She sighed sadly, it was like she wasn't her anymore. She slipped her converses back on, tied up the laces and ate another chip. It was nice seeing, but it wasn't her.
