Kairi jumped when Via said that. She had been caught off guard, Kairi could see more than un-blind people...did Via know?
Kairi could see things, things that haunt your worst nightmares, they were everywhere, all the time and always with people. She even had one. She'd touched it once, and she'd felt like she was on fire and then it suddenly changed so she was freezing cold. She had promised herself never to do it again.

Lizzie listened at Kairi explained to her Via about her blindness. She had been watching Kairi, Edward and Via for some time now, not knowing if they had noticed. But tired as she was, she hadn't really spoken to them yet. But now she did: "I feel sorry for you too, Kairi, but I think you are amazing. I wish I could feel the vibrations... " she hesitated for a second, realising what she had just said. "Oh, I'm sorry Kairi, I didn't mean you're lucky to be blind or anything, just that it's amazing that you can make it." She wanted to hit herself in the head. What kind of that was that to say? She smiled to Kairi and her friends, hoping they would understand.

Kairi looked questionally at Lizzie, "What in the name of Merlin is ballet?" Kairi asked, curiously. "After school? Well after muggle school, I was normally pulled behind dumpsters to be beaten up, then I'd go down to the lake that's near where I live and have a little swim, it's quite refreshing, you should come with me some time," she said with a smile.

Kairi took the bottle from Edward, her heart beating extremely fast. She would be able to...see...
She uncorked the bottle and put a drop in each eye, first blackness, and then she saw everything, it hurt, it hurt a lot, the light was too bright, there were too many people. She shut her eyes tight and then opened them again, looking around anxiously. She saw everything, it was amazing...
