Edward smiled at Kairi and closed his eyes. Edward seemed like a statue with his eyes closed listening to the girls talk. He opened his eyes and looked around.

She offered Natka a seat and some cookies, and continued talking. "I'm so excited we're finally here. Aren't you? And there are so many nice people to meet. The first years in Gryffindor are Kairi, Rosa, Shaylee, Maggie, Erica... I haven't forgotten anyone, have I??" she looked around as she pointed her new friends out for Natka, and then turned back to her. "If you make it to the quidditch team, I bet you I'll be there to fight against you in a match! Haha, maybe I will try out for the team anyway, since everybody seem to want it.. I'll wait and see if I can fly at all after our first flying lesson" she said with a laugh.

Kairi had decided to keep quiet. For once in her life she didn't feel like talking, but instead she felt like listening. She sipped her pumkin juice and watched he two friends as they introduced themselves to each other, her purple eyes blank and un-seeing, but her feet seeing everything.

"Really? I thought I did...anyway, I'm sorry I didn't," Kairi said with a warm smile. "And don't be proud of me, you sound like my mother," she said jokingly. Truthfully, Via sounded nothing like her mother, Kairi's mother wouldn't care even if she fell off the london bridge!
"I can see perfectly fine, well...not in the way you see, but by feeling vibrations in the ground, its quite easy actually, you just have to have the know how," she said knocking her head gently with her fist so it wouldn't hurt.
