Christine was tried of trying to find someone she knew to sit with. She didn't really know anyone, so she just decided to sit in the next compartment that she walked by.

"I really have, maybe next term I'll have to drag you around the castle with me so that you're there for everything too. You always seemed to be cooped up in the common room, you poor thing. Always studying?" Freya gave a small smile, "Yeah, well let's not hope that it is too eventful. I don't want to forget about my studies and have to stay yet another year. I'm already the 'old lady' of the class it seems." She rolled her eyes slightly again, then nodded, "Yeah, I'm anxious to meet them. I'm looking forward to work too, lots of it. I just don't know if they are going to meet me at the platform right away or not..." 'If that's the case, I'll take off towards my mom's place to get my things...then leave for good. Thank heavens!'

Sam was walking down the train aisle and heard yelling. What the? Taking a few more steps, she watched as Anna and Cale walked into the noisy compartment. Being the nosy Gryffindor she was, she stumbled over. She grabbed the door and pushed it open and couldnt help but smirk. Figures she would find Frederic being the source of the yelling. Who was the midget boy though?

"Sheesh Freddie. Vannah isnt even here. Why are you yelling now?" she threw an innocent smile over at him. She then noticed Lex and stood next to her. "I swear you cant take the boy anywhere without him popping one of the veins in his head." she said sideways to the Gryffindor Captain.

Christine was trying to walk into a compartment when she heard a lot of noise. The was a girl, standing in the way, holding Christine up. She looked in the compartment and saw an older girl and guy she didn't know, and one that she did. Dominic did not look happy at all. Christine just shook her head at the fact that dominic always finds trouble where ever he goes. She turned her attention to the path blocker and said Can you not find any other place on the entire train to stand then in my way?

His little trip toward hell was still going down and down. First Anna had step in with her all bubbly self, then her boyfriend had suddenly appear, Lexis was following right after and then Samantha had burst in. Now he couldn't drag him out without having the disapproval of Lexis on him. DARN! What a pleasure he would have taking from doing that. He was inches away from it and now it was impossible. DRAT!!

Rolling his eyes at the comment Newell had about some stupid record. If he wanted a record he would give him one, like the record of shoving the most people out of a compartment.

Walking back toward his sit, Fred let himself felt loudly. He didn't want to tell Lexis that he was angry at this moment but by the looks on his face it was rather obvious. So instead of answering, he rolled his eyes again. His eyes then meet Samantha. "Samantha... don't start."

Cale blinked and looked up when he heard a voice that he didn't recognize coming from the corridor. He saw that the newcomer was talking to Sam, who seemed to have wanted to join in on the action in the compartment as well. He frowned when he heard what she said--there was no need to be snippy like that. She could have easily walked around her, it wasn't like the hallway was ridiculously narrow. He stood up and walked over to the door, opening it some more so that Sam, Alexis, and their new Huffie friend could fit in the doorway now.

"She's in your way? You could go around her I suppose...or come join us in here!" he told her with a grin, opening the door even wider. "We're trying to break a record here on how many people we can cram into a compartment...please, I insist," he added with a head nodd.

"So, Fred...I don't believe I ever heard your answer to my question," Anna continued. "What's going on in here? Apparently this isn't just another friendly Gryffindor/Hufflepuff conversation of sorts. I mean, come on. There are dogs. And shouting. And spelling." Anna continued to sit back with her legs crossed and smirk in place. This train ride was proving to be amusing after all. She and Cale were headed to Hawaii soon. She could relax then. For now, this train compartment was where all the action was. What was it about the train ride home that always brought out the wild animal in everyone?

"That's exactly what Cale and I were wondering, Alexis," Anna said. "While we wait on one or the other to tell the story, we're trying to fill the compartment to its maximum capacity. Please," she said, motioning at an empty space on one of the seats, "come and sit down."

Out of the side of her eye, Anna noticed Dominic shaking his head at her. Bratty boy. He was probably sitting there thinking that absolutely none of this had anything to do with him. Yes, brat indeed. When the Hufflepuff boy sighed dramatically, Anna suddenly turned to her gaze towards him and raised her eyebrows, almost if she were questioning him. "Ah," she said. "Glad to hear your's was...how did you say it?...dandy. Let's see, in the course of one school year, I nearly lost the most important person in the world, went through three boyfriends, was drugged by a Slytherin, nearly failed Herbology, was reunited with the love of my life, placed third in Quidditch, searched for a treasure that I never technically found, lost a whole headmistress and two or three teachers, was overall top point earner, and won the house cup," she said. "Oh, and a partridge in a pear tree," she sarcastically added.

Anna wrinkled her eyebrows and studied Dominic for a moment. What was the smirk on his face for? Surely he didn't think he'd won? Psh. Misled Hufflepuff.

Anna sarcastically laughed as Cale picked up where she'd left off in their little story. "And trust us, it really was peaceful. We had a compartment all to ourselves, and we were just talking about how much we needed to just sit back, relax, and enjoy the peacefulness of the train. Then again, we are leaving for Hawaii soon, so I suppose we could relax there instead. It's the more, the merrier in here!" she exclaimed. As she spoke, Anna pulled a chocolate frog from her pockets. If she was going to be in here for a while like she planned to be, she may as well have a good time.

"Why, Cale!" Anna continued. "I think cramming the compartment is a lovely idea!" Anna smiled as more and more people crammed into the compartment. This was sure turning out to be "the more, the merrier." Anna turned her attention back to Dominic, who'd for some reason grown very quiet. "So, Dominic, what are your summer plans?"

Ryan trudged to the front of the train. He walked, head down, turning his letter over in his hands. He wasn't looking at it, though. He was just.....looking down at nothing in particular. Normally, he was excited to leave Hogwarts, but not this time.

Without even paying attention, he walked into a random compartment. Of course, it happened to be the same compartment containing his girlfriend, a ray of light in a dark room.

Punzel had decided not to let Won-Won have his way, for once - he was such a spoiled animal - and she just scooped little Nacho Puff up from the floor when once again, the compartment door slid open.

"Ryaaaan!" Punz cheered, rushing to give him a big hug. It was mostly a one-armed hug though, since, well, she still had a pygmy puff tucked under her arm.

She took a step back when he didn't really hug her back. Must be Nacho...I guess he could use a bath... Punz thought, glancing at her boyfriend for second. And the first thing she noticed was a bit of familiar-looking parchment in his hand.

GASP! "You got one too?!"

Ryan couldn't react quick enough to hug her back. He would have, though. He hadn't exactly been around much this term. He was just glad she wasn't sour after....well....nevermind.

He was shocked out of his melancholy demeanor, though, by her gasp. "Got one what?" But before she could answer, he saw where she was looking. A smirk crossed his face. "Oh...yeah. You got one too?" Suddenly, he was a lot more excited for summer.

To top the icing on the cake, Dominic's favorite person followed Anna into the compartment. Cale "Way to Nosy for his own good" Newell. Talk of complete morons who didn't know how to mind their own business. Ignoring the male prefect as best as possible, he just shook his head with his continuation of the story about raised voices. Meh. What did he care if he woke the whole train? Fun? Oh yes. He could just see it now ... Dominic rolled his eyes as Cale called for his captain to join them. Seemed he had no other choice but to attempt to endure it. Cramming people inside a compartment was NOT going to be fun at all.

Even when another girl entered the compartment, who from the looks of things, was another gryffindor. Had he missed the memo that this was a Lion only compartment? Seriously. Thankfully she didn't seem to bother with him but immediately started in with the captain and the older boy, Fred it appeared was his name.

Could matters seriously get much worse though, as Christine, a younger Hufflepuff pushed past them and was invited by Anna to sit with them. Sighing, he nodded towards her, at least thankful for not being the only non-Gryffindor anymore. No matter that she was a tad rude to the previous girl; rudeness did seem to be a common trend in here anyway.

Sneaking a glance back over at Fred, Dominic couldn't help but notice that him too seemed wanting to not be here. At least he wasn't the only one. Besides the fact for Newell being completely annoying as per usual with his ranting about something or other and record breaking. Who the canaries cares how many people can fit into a compartment!? He just wanted comfort and peace; something he was not getting anymore.

Then Anna spoke again, speaking of something or other. Dominic tuned her out awhile ago, even if she did seem to side with Cale on the filling the compartment bit, encouraging the newcomers to sit. Finally she seemed to be addressing him and then started going on about her year and what she did - who the clabberts cared about her personal and dramatic life!? Stupid, crazzyyyy Gryffindor.

Sighing quietly, he stared as she laughed and went on about their peaceful compartment. Why don't they go back to it if she liked it sooo much? Leave them be. Honestly. Gryffindor prefects could both sooo nosy sometimes, it was quite irritating.

Then she turned back to him again, stating his name. "Oh Anna, nothing much except enjoying the peace of minimal drama." Dominic beamed at this thought. It was quite a wonderful prospect, not having to deal with emotional students or drama for two whole months. He might actually get bored!

Punz merely beamed in reply and rushed over to her Chudley Cannons bag, reaching inside to whip out the thick, fancy envelope.

"Look! The same! You...right?" She was so excited her grin really couldn't get any wider. "We should trade and read. Just to make sure, you know." Punz's green eyes darted to the side then to the other side, as if she were checking for spies. Or cough becuase my nosy sister is in the same compartment cough.

Ryan quickly shut the door to the compartment and snatched the letter out of Rapunzel's hand. He also threw his letter into her lap as he hopped onto the seat right next to her.

All he needed to see was the top of the letter head, though, before he grinned wildly and threw his arms around her. "Oh, I'm so proud of you! Er....us!" He gave her a quick smooch on the forehead and went back to reading, which was rather hard because his hands were shaking with excitement. He could only hope he wouldn't ruffle her paper, which he was sure she would want to frame. He knew he wanted to frame his.

Who knew his fortune could turn out to be so great?

"Grabby fingers," Punz mumbled, not really mad at Ryan's eagerness. Honestly, this was one of the best train rides ever, and that was saying something.

She started blushing when he pecked her head though. "Aww, yeah! I'm too excited!" Rapunzel was trying very hard not to bust out in another fit of giggles and/or squealing.

"Aaaah this summer is going to be intense," she said, zipping through his letter. This was, what, the fifth? Sixth time she'd read the same information?

“CALE” The blonde yelled, blinking. “That’s…weird…okay then. Cramming people into a compartment…how normal.” Something was really strange. The two prefects were…abnormally happy and everyone else seemed grouchy. It was, kind of scary in Lex’s opinion.

“Sam!” Alexis exclaimed, giving her a look as she entered the compartment. She always picked on Fred…not that it was a hard thing to do. But it was mean. “You. Do. Not. Make. Those. Type. Of. Comments. To. Someone. Who. Can. Throw. You. Out. A. Window!!!!” She yelled making every word clear. About to say something else to Miss Edwards Alexis heard another voice at the door, clearly a rude one. “Can you not butt in where you’re not wanted?” The Gryffie asked still wondering why this random Huffie was being so rude. “It isn’t in your way either. You could have just asked nicely.” Not saying more to the new girl as she entered Alexis turned back to Anna.

“Mmmhm…uhuh.” Lex had no idea how to reply to the Prefect. Obviously she didn’t know how Fred could act…or WOULD act. This was not good. “Well…hmm....well I think that if I talked to Fred alone he’d tell me his side sooo.” Grabbing Fred’s hand and putting Ariel on to the floor Alexis turned. “We’ll be back …to uh…help you with your record, don’t worry.” Alexis quickly rushed out the door pulling Fred behind before Anna or Cale could object.

Finding an empty compartment a couple doors down from the one packed with people Lex pushed Fred in. “Okay Monkey Boy, explain.”

Penelope shook her head.
'No, not studying, just really shy, but I'll come with you next term and meet some of these people'. She looked out the window.
'Well, if they're not they're then thats a good chance to go to your mum's house right? So you don't have to go halfway through the holidays'.

Christine turned her head to the left to peer into the room. She raised one eyebrow when she saw how many people where in there. It reminder her of the last time she rode the Hogwarts express and was crammed in a compartment with seven people. Um........ Ok Christine said slowly. She took one step into the compartment and stood there trying to figure out how she was even going to find a space to sit down.

"Yeah it is," he added. He knew it would be worth it, though.

After finishing the letter, he nudged her playfully. "Chaser, eh?" He stopped to look her over. "It suits you. You were able to get the quaffle past me a fair few times." He had a big smirk on his face.

Oh. NO. He. Didnt! Fred went there. Her mouth dropped and she gave him her most rudest look. "Do NOT call me SAMANTHA!" she said through gritted teeth. If she opened her mouth completely she would be yelling. And yelling in front of the Gryffie prefects wasnt a good thing. But then again why not? Not like they can give them detention now. "Look here Fred, say my full name again and I will hex you." she glared at the boy. She was never mean to the boy! She had gotten the boy a kiss from the girl he is obviously in love with, and he had to go and pull something like this.

She crossed her arms over her chest stubbornly as Lexi began to talk. Now she was taking his side! "Dude Lex! He called me by that wretched name! I didnt even do anything to him! Its not my fault the boy takes everything the wrong way." she pouted.

Then a new voice floated behind her. And they were saying she was in her way. Sam turned and looked down at the girl who was getting snippy with her. Now was NOT the time to get snippy with her. She was already steaming about the "Samantha" remark. "Who do you think you are midget? Did you not learn any manners? I can teach if you dont know them." she said, looking down at the first year.

Seriously! What the heck! All she did was walk into the compartment and she got called out by her supposed fellow housemate and gets a rude first year talking to her. What has the world come to when being nosy gets you in trouble?!

Suddenly Lex was dragging Fred from out of the compartment. Alexis didnt think she would actually hex him did she? If she wasnt so steamed she would of found it cute that she was trying to protect the male Gryffindor. Instead she threw a nasty look toward the midget Hufflepuff again and took a seat next to the other Hufflepuff in the compartment. Sam didnt know what his story was, but he seemed like the most sane one at the moment. She felt bad for him in way. The poor boy probably got attacked by the temperamental Frederic. Pft! She wasnt scared of him.

"Well duh, what else would I be? Seeker?" Rapunzel snorted at the the thought. Ugh, that term was a disaster for Hufflepuff.

"And you, Mr. Keeper," she gave Ryan the eye-over too. "Suits you well, I must say. Although good thing we're on the same team....gonna bring the Cannons winning streak back, eh?"

Aaah this was a dream come true for Punz, it really was. Quidditch + Life + Love + Cannons = Bliss.

Fred could feel the eyes of that little prick on him and he knew that both of them were hoping to be anywhere else other than here. It seems that faith was always against him. The only thing that he didn't mind at this moment was Alexis presence. She was the only one present that he could handle. Well at least it was one that he didn't want to throw out of the door.

Hearing her yell at her friend about not saying those type of comment to someone who could throw you out of a window the idea of actually doing this pass in his mind. This didn't sound as bad and at the same time it would have been quite relieving but before he could actually do something he was pulled away from this nightmarish compartment. Something was telling him that he would be grateful to Alexis for a while. She was the one that had pulled him out and he now owned her big time.


Gritting together Fred didn't take the threat from Miss dont call me Samantha very easily. Well in truth he couldn't take it from anyone. Glancing an angry look at her, he could feel the rage coming back. "First of all I didn't knew and second... Call me Freddie one more time... just one more time and you are going to see that window pretty fast." He was remembering how she had call him when she had burst in the compartment and this was something he couldn't forget. If she could threatenen him so could he.

Following her in the corridor and into an empty compartment, he let himself fall into his newly find sit and sighed loudly. Putting both of his hand on each side of his head, he was hoping that his headache would go away fast. This was getting more painful that he had ever experience. He glanced from underneath his hand toward her. It was obvious that she was going to ask him about some explanation and it was obvious that he didn’t want to talk about it but knowing her like he did he also knew that she wouldn’t let go that easily either. "That guy," referring to the badger's boy, "burst into the compartment and of course Ariel ran away... All I wanted is so peaceful time on my own and that moron completly blew it."

"Well....you did beat me to that first snitch when we were both seekers..." He knew she would never want to be seeker, though. He was just giving her a hard time.

"Yes, it is a good thing." Truly, it was. Although the competition was fun, Ryan was glad they would be on the same team for once. Playing against her was the only time he was nervous in quidditch.

"Cannons, FTW!" He held up his hand for a high five.

Chandan sighed. This year had gone awfully fast, almost as if he'd been in a trance through most of it. All he could really remember was Laylee, and that promise he'd made for her to go round his house next summer. But it was Christmas now... Christmas...

Chandan laughed silently to himself. He'd gone through all that trouble to get Laylee a present, and he still hadn't seen her! Some Christmas, if he couldn't see who he only really wanted to see...

Patting Phoenix the silly blue toad, Chandan stretched out until his feet were resting on the seat opposite him. Getting on the train practically first because you were sad and had nothing else to do had its advantages. Nobody had disturbed him yet. He was alone...

Closing his eyes, Chandan pictured Laylee's face. He smiled to himself. Perhaps he was right the first time. Perhaps it would just be better for him to fade away and forget... Problem was, he didn't really want to...

"Really shy except for the fact that you opened up to me pretty well and are now moving in with someone." Freya replied with a sneaky grin. "Oh, yeah, those people are pretty entertaining to say the least. Not to mention that two of the-well, three of them are great at art, me, not so much."
Freya nodded in agreement to what Penelope had said. "Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I'll just leave my owls and trunk at the edge of the forest line. I'll have to walk the rest of the way, it's only a few miles hike through the woods. Shouldn't take too terribly long to get to the house...as long as all the security is the same..." 'Which I doubt. So I will need to be extra careful of where I step.' "My mother, Ursula, she has a lot of security charms and curses around, I'm sure you know why. Things wouldn't be good if authorities or muggles started wandering around the facility and everything. But here's the kicker-" Freya leaned a little bit closer, "If you were to trigger an alarm, you wouldn't know it until something or someone met you in the forest. Usually Ursula would go out herself and tend to the problem herself, but when I became older she would send other...things to deal with it." She really had no idea how sinister the idea was until she had been thrown out and started to really give things a good thought. It was what she knew, what she had grown up with so who was she to judge otherwise?
Freya shrugged a little bit. "And if I do head out immediately to my new home, which I expect, I'll just have to sneak away for a night and get things done then." She winked, "I'm awfully good at sneaking around, I'm silent and can see quite well in the dark."

It was getting a bit too crowded in the back of the train for Mina's liking, despite the fact heer compartment had remained mostly empty. It had been the corridor, and the amount of people standing and talking in it. She was very picky about that sort of stuff.

She rubbed her stiff shoulder as she made her way down the front of the train, dark eyes scanning the compartments. They all seemed to be full. The Hufflepuff sighed, stopping and leaning against the window.

Great. Just great. She gave up her nice, empty-save-for-her compartment for this - just to stand in the corridor. She kicked herself internally.
