Penelope nodded.
'Thats fair enough'. She thought and how long they had known each other.
'Well, I think it's been 6 years since we met, song yeah a fair while, it's just good to have a friend like that, always there, do you have someone like that?'.She hoped she wasn't coming across nosy.

"Six years? Wow, that's longer than I've known anyone. I mean, aside from my mother. I never really had the chance to get out and be social until this year and well...you know." Freya's eyes became a little blank, moreso than usual, "No. I don't have anyone like that. Occassionallly I would think that, but then everyone just seemed to leave..." She stopped, just thinking about those she had met in her life she thought would be around forever and then get up and leave and never seen again. Freya watched the three owls clamber over one another to get what was left of the treats and smiled slightly. "The closest I've come are the animals I worked with, and those that lived in the woods near my home. People think I'm crazy, but animals don't judge as harshly, they are more forgiving and don't leave as easily..."

With his eyes closed, Dominic was nearly asleep when he heard stirring from across the compartment. Oops! Apparently this wasn't a free compartment?! But it wasn't like he was bothering anyone; two boys in here, from the looks of the kid across from him, he was older, but both quiet.

And he was being glared at! Ack! Rubbing his leg subconsciously as the boy kicked him for no apparent reason, Dominic narrowed his eyes at the boy. That was rude, but at least it wasn't saliva. "In case you hadn't noticed, i really had no intentions of talking to you, but just wanted a quiet compartment. And not my fault that your dog ran away from you. No need to blame me!" Honestly.

Penelope felt a little sad for Freya, she didn't have the chance to have friends with her mother around.
'I agree, animals are better on the whole I think, but you don't have to worry about me leaving, I'm not like that, I know how it feels, and I don't like it'. She finished and thought about Jelly.
'I think you'll like Jelly, you'll finally meet someone taller then you' She said with a grin.

Freya rolled her eyes slightly, "Yeah, they are I guess. Except they don't really understand you and they can't talk back." 'Oh well, sometimes that was better anyway...' She grinned a little bit when Penelope mentioned height difference again, "Oh, don't you worry. The herbology professor was taller than me too. I think he is about the same height as 'Jelly'. At least I won't have to crane my neck up as much as you do." Freya finished with a smirk. Oh how she loved being overly tall for a girl, freakishly long legs and arms were always a plus as far as Freya was concerned. "My mother is very short, so I always had to look down on her since I was about eleven." Freya laughed a little bit. "By fourteen I was five feet, ten inches. And when I turned sixteen I reached six feet, one inch. Only in the past year did I reach my final height."

He didn't knew what was holding him from grabbing the boy and throw him out of the compartment. It wasn't his fault that the boy wasn't even able to noticed that this compartment was taken. He just needed to open his stupid eyes to see that... but no he was probably as oblivious as anyone in this school.

Not sorry for kicking him, he felt as every part of himself wanted to take action. "First of all you could open your eyes. You know those two little things you have on your face that help you to see where you are going. They can be useful." Pushing his bag toward the corner so he could sit in front of the boy, he crosses his arms in front of him. "I don't care if you want to keep quiet, I want to be alone. Do you want me to spell it for you... A-L-O-N-E. And as for my dog you are to blame because you open that DARN door." They were nobody who would have been able to stop in ragging to this little twit. He was angry at the fact that his little peace time was over. Was he condemn to have someone annoying with him all the time

Penelope laughed for a moment then thought of something.
'Freya are you scared of heights?' She grinned a little.

"Penelope. I used to play beater on a quidditch team. Do you think I am afraid of heights? Freya said comically back to the girl. "I can't wait until I get my broom back from my mother's place, I haven't flown in over two years now.You aren't afraid of heights are you?" She thought of what she was afraid of and shivered.

Penelope smiled.
'oh yea, No, me and heights are pretty good friends'.
SHe noticed Freya shivering slightly.
'So what are you afraid of?'

The way the boy was looking at him, Dominic almost wished he was back dealing with the little puff ball licking him and that blond laughing maniac. Seriously; the boy was almost frightening. Except he wasn't sure what was worse: the fact that he wanted to be alone or the fact that this boy was WAY too similar to his own mannerisms for his likelihood. Only difference was that he wouldn't have kicked someone, but instead thrown the nearest item.

"My eyes were open for your information, but if you must know, I've sorta had a very rough start this train ride home. First the captain annoys me with her manic attitude and then her little pet tries to attack me with its tongue," he drawled on. "However, I can see I'm not wanted here either, so perhaps I should just hang onto the outside of the window or something instead of dealing with this nonsense. Nonsense that I thought you wouldn't want as well, but I suppose I was wrong. AND if your dog wasn't prone to running away from you, probably because you STINK, S-T-I-N-K, then perhaps it wouldn't have escaped when I opened the darned door for two bloody seconds!" Dominic finished, crossing his arms and continuing to glare at the older boy. He never knew someone could be sooo .... rude.

"Let's have you say what you are afraid of first. Then maybe I'll tell you what I'm afraid of." Really, anyone who had seen Freya on the grounds at one point in time would be able to notice it.

Penelope nodded and thought about what she was afraid of.
'Birds, darkness, lonliness and becoming something I am forced to be, something that forces me away from friends and family alike, something that could ruin me'. She stopped and composed herself.
'What about you now?'

'All those? Wow...' Freya thought to herself, "Well, aside from the constant fear that I might go berserk and kill everyone around me, I guess I would have to say that I fear deep water the most, and being stabbed in the back by someone I trusted." Freya stared at the owls who had finished up the last of the treats and were now eyeing Penelope in the hopes of getting more. "I dunno, I had an...accident a long time ago and it still frightens me." 'Accident, yeah...'

Penelope chucked the owls some more owl treats in the hope of keeping the, quiet.
'There some good fears, you say accident, what happened?' She wondered for amoment and then the thought of deep water sent a shiver down her spine for some reason, it was quite frightening.

The compartment door suddenly swung open, and in the doorway stood both Gryffindor prefects---Anna Greingoth and Cale Newell. "Hello, boys," Anna greeted. "Dom. Fred." Anna nodded in each boy's direction as she said their name. "So, I have a really good story to tell. Do you want to hear it? Oh, good! So you do!" Anna exclaimed, not waiting for either boy to answer. "So, get this. I'm sitting in the back of the train...with my boyfriend...having a rather in-depth conversation with him, might I add. Then, all of the sudden, out of the corner of my eye, I see a dog run by my compartment's door. A dog! Isn't that FUN-NY!" Anna exclaimed, dropping her nice act and glaring at both boys on that last word.

"In other words, what, might I ask, is going on here?" she asked, crossing her hands over her chest. "And you, Fred Krum, are not sitting alone anymore." As she talked, Anna plopped down on the seat right next to her co-Gryffindor. "...because I'm now sitting next to you! Won't that be fun? Huh? F-U-N, fun...since we seem to be in the mood to spell!" Anna cleared her throat, crossed her legs, and sat back with a smirk on her face. "So...boys. How was your year at school? Better than mine was, I hope."

Every seconds that the other boy was staying in the same compartment as him, Fred patience was growing thiner and thiner. Was he having a kick at it or maybe the solution was much simpler than that. The boy was a complete idiot. It was the first thing he had thought of him and he was going to stick with that. He knew that if one would show up then of course someone else was going to and so on...

Rolling his eyes as he heard his comment about having his eyes open the all time. Well if it was the case then why did he came here in the first place? Was he so innocent that he couldn't figure out on his own that he would bother him? Then he went on blahbing about how the Captain annoys him in the first place and blah blah blah. Putting one of his hand over his eyes, he was starting to get one of those massive headache. "SHUT IT!! I don't care how you day start and I don't care what you are going to do. All I care is that you are going to walk throught that door NOW!" With the firm intention of dragging him if the boy wouldn't respond to his request, his fist thighten when he told him that the reason why his dog ran away was because he stink. He didn't want to waist any energy to mention that Ariel was hyper and she always wanted wide space so that she could run.

Raising up, he walks close to the boy with a menacing look on his face. "Now it's ENOUGH!! I give you two seconds to walk out... Starting now."

His nightmare seems to have no end when the door open again. Grinching his teeth together, he heard that Anna, his prefect was entering HIS compartment. Way to go!! The entire room was now in a shade of red and he was wishing he could grab something that he could throw just so he could put is anger somewhere.

Freya paused for a moment, "I, um, fell into the lake near my old home." She said quietly. "And I guess I went all the way to the bottom for a while..." Realizing she was very vague on the details she went on. "I, uh, guess something caught my ankle and I followed it downwards. After my mom le-got me out I was sick for a while with pneumonia." 'Nearly died twice.' "But it was nothing much, I just am probably overreacting, gave me a good enough scare." She stopped quickly and took a deep drink of her hot chocolate, which was cooled down considerably by now, but Freya didn't mind. She had such a guilty mind now, not to mention she was a terrible liar.

Penelope knew by the tone of Freya's voice that this wasn't the truth but she left it anyway.
'That seems like a good enough reason for me, so how did you manage with the lake at school?'

She shrugged, "I was okay with it actually. As long as I know I can grab a hold of land when I need to I was able to relax a little bit while I was around it." Freya remembered jumping into it. "I even managed to jump into it from one of the trees nearby. Ugh, I had to keep a hold of a rock the whole time, I was shaking like crazy and my lips turned blue. I think from nerves mostly." She took another quick sip of her drink, "So, any new developments with that 'issue' of yours that might help me when I have to make that potion?"

Penelope nodded and noticed her drink had gone cold, she prodded the bottle and felt her cup warm up in her fingers and knew Freya would to.
'Well, the syptoms are stronger now, and I find that I can't eat cooked meat, it has to be raw, my smell has picked up and I can smell anything from here to the other side England, but apart from that, I'm as normal as anyone' She grinned.

Poking her head threw the compartment door Alexis looked around at the people (Anna, Cale, Fred, the dude from Quidditch) inside. If she was smart she would have just left right then. But nope, she was a Gryffindor, she just had to butt in. “Everyone in here seems happy .” Alexis said sarcastically as she entered the compartment fully with Ariel in her hands. Putting the dog on Fred’s lap Alexis turned to Anna and Fred. “Sooo…whats going onnn?”

Freya grinned a little bit, "I hate 'normal', it's so dreadfully boring." She couldn't help but laugh. "Everyone that I have managed to meet this year has some oddity about them, it's crazy, and I absolutely loved it. I think all of the 'normal' people stayed far away from me while I was at school, I'm convinced of it." She laughed slightly again, "Really, meeting not one but three metamorphmaguses, a boy who can see the future, a second year who is a parselmouth, you of course with your little 'issue', a girl who can't control her magic and nearly killed someone, some mind-reader, and another who both creeps me out and intrigues me at the same time. Oh what a year it has been." Freya sat back in her seat a little more and noted the changes with Penelope, "So far nothing out of the 'ordinary'. Those are the 'normal' symptoms or traits if you will."

Losing patience with the boy, the last thing Dominic expected was for the Gryffindor Prefect to barge in. With a story!? Oh for the love of Merlin; did she have to be sooo hyper? Crazy girl. Crossing his arms, he just shook his head as none of it really pertained to him, but mostly with the dog and thereby the older boy.

Until she sat across from him, next to the other boy and looked all smug as she asked them about their year. Crazyyyy... Sighing dramatically, he rolled his eyes, really wishing to be back with the saliva and laughing hyena blondie. "Just dandy... you know... won a quidditch match... lost one... made top point earner for Hufflepuff... made no friends, unless you count Professor Myers... life is just great," he replied, slight sarcasm in his tone at that last bit.


Only good thing about the prefect showing up was that it forced the boy to be quiet, even after telling him to shut up. Sitting smugly, Dominic had to give him a glare like 'haha. i win', as he just looked back at Anna, awaiting to see what her reaction would be to his quietness around here.


Until someone else entered the compartment. It was the Gryffindor Captain whom he'd accidentally gone sledding on in the stands. Eying her as she sarcastically mentioned the happiness in the compartment, Dominic just nodded politely and kept quiet. He was not going to be first to answer her....

Penelope couldn't help but laugh.
'You have had an interesting year haven't you?' She grinned and htought about her symptoms.
'Well we can only hope next term is as eventful as this one, otherwise it will be to dull for both if us thrill seekers' She laughed
'Looking forward to meeting your new family?'

Grin upon his face, Cale Newell followed his girlfriend Anna into the compartment. Even from down at the other end of the train they could hear Dominic's charming tones echoing through the corridors. Not to mention, watching Anna go completely insane on the two of them was more than entertaining. He had never seen her so--prefectly in his life.

"It gets better," he told the two of them, plopping down on the chair right next to Anna and continuing her little story. "Not only do we see a dog running about, but as soon as we came down to investigate we heard the sound of two very lovely raised voices disrupting the peace of the train," he added with a smirk.

"And yes, we're going to have lots of fun fun FUN!" he exclaimed. Oh boy, he wanted to see Dominic's reaction. They had finally caught him doing something legit this time. Mwahaha. "In fact, let's see if we can break a record on the number of people squeezed into one compartment. ALEXIS!" he practically shouting in greeting, grinning at his Quidditch captain as she entered the compartment. "Come join us! We're trying to get as many people crammed into this compartment as possible. It's going to be loads of fun!"

He stopped and blinked as Fred started shouting at Dominic again, leaving a ringing in his ears. "My my, that was a tad unnecessary. How do you expect to break a record if you're kicking people OUT?" he asked.
