Jenn smiled. "You did? Where you good? What position did you play?"Jenn asked. Jenn smiled again. Stepping out of line she moved in next to Madame Kohan.

Cale, having not been able to find Pepper Poppington's Plants of the Aquatic Nature and the Animals That Eat Them, made his way back up to the front desk where he waited quietly for Madame Librarian to come back. Cale wondered if she was still in the good mood that she had been when he had inquired about the book earlier. He hoped so. He would probably need her help finding the book in a few minutes.

My goodness. That was a hair color that she didn't often see. "Good day, young man." She greeted back. "And yes, there are books here on that subject. They'll be located upstairs, first row of bookshelves, first few rows."

"You're very welcome." She answered with another smile. "Hope you find what you're looking for!"

Chuckling as the Ravenclaw stepped out of line and next to her, Madame Kohan settled onto a stool. "I did; played Chaser, and..." She chuckled again. "I would like to think that I was a pretty good player, but regardless I had so much fun playing. There's nothing like flying through the air to the sounds of cheering housemates while scoring goals."

As a familiar face walked up to the desk, and without a book in his hand, Madame Kohan gave a little frown. He must not have been able to find the book.

"No luck?" She inquired. If he hadn't been able to find it, she'd have to help him find it herself. Hopefully, it wouldn't be too difficult.

"Thank you very much." Nathaniel said to her as he turned around to leave.

Cale stepped to the side to let the Gryffindor go past then stepped up to the counter just in time to catch Madame Librarian ask him about his book. "Nope, couldn't find it." In an attempt to look suave and cool, he leaned on the counter, crossing his feet at the ankles. "You don't think it grew legs and walked off do you?" Course not stupid, Cale's inner voice said to him. Books don't grow legs - now you sound like a dummy dum dum head.

Jenn smiled as Madame Kohan told her story of playing Quidditch. "Chaser huh, how cool!" Jenn smiled. "Hey! I think that's what makes it fun. Is having fun."Jenn said. She grinned. "What house where you in?"Jenn asked.

Madame Kohan nodded with a smile. "You're welcome. Come back if you cannot find what you're looking for."

Madame Kohan chuckled again as Cale remarked about the books walking off. "Well, I'm not sure what exactly what happened to the book, but I certainly want to help you find it." She offered.

Turning briefly, she pulled a large book from beneath the desk. Setting it onto the desk with a small puff of dust rising in the air, she turned open the front cover.

"Okay...what's the name of it again?"

Madame Kohan grinned back at the Ravenclaw. "Gryffindor." She answered. "And it would be fantastic to have another chance to play Quidditch. I'm not sure how well I would do, but it wouldn't hurt to try."

Approaching the front desk with Camira, Nico smiled at the librarian.

"Excuse me, Madame Kohan?" Nicholai paused, "Remember when Anna and I spoke to you about... errr... pirates? Well something was found in the library, and now... Camira and I... have need to do some further research." Nico eyed the other students nearby, unsure whether he should speak openly or not.

"I still have my pass; Camira doesn't have one but she does have something else." Nicholai gestured for Camira to show the librarian the scroll, giving her a 'you can trust her' look.

Camira nodded as Nico spoke. Please let this work, she thought. She just had to help search.

Something else? What did she – oh. Duh. She pulled out the scroll and showed it to the librarian. “This is the Slytherin house scroll. I think if you read it, you’ll see that it lead to the restricted section”, she whidpered. She didn’t want anyone overhearing her, but she wanted to make sure the librarian understood the significance of what she had.

Checking to see if she had pulled her book mark out of her book, Rian stepped in the in front of the desk. She smiled at Madame Kohan when it was her turn, and hefted her finished book onto the desk. "Good morning!" she said happily, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

Jenn smiled. "I have a good friend in that house."Jenn said. Jenn rolled her eyes. "I'm positive that with a little practice, you would do wonderful! I wouldn't even mind doing it with you."Jenn said smiling at Madam Kohan. Jenn looked at Rian. "I bet Rian agrees with me, don't you Rian."Jenn said giggling.

"Why, hello Rian!" She greeted the Ravenclaw. "Finished already?" She slid the book towards her and opened it, tapping it twice with her quill before setting it back behind the desk. "Going out to search for more?"

"That's great to hear." Madame Koahn remarked with a smile. It was always nice to see people making friends with other houses. It really gave htat spirit of interhouse unity. With a slight chuckle, she straightened up a few nearby pieces of parchment. "Yes, well, I do like to go out flying during the summer, but other than that, it's difficult to make time."

As a familiar face approached the desk, Madame Kohan edged forward a bit more. "Hello, Nico. And yes, of course I remember." Had they found something? Moments later, her suspicion was confirmed. "Oh?" Now looking curiously towards the other Slytherin, the librarian waited for her to speak.

Taking the scroll from the girl, Madame Kohan read it silently. Once, twice, three times. Each time that she read it, she felt great excitement. She believed them to be correct though, at least in the location that the scroll pertained to. "My goodness." She murmured as she folded the scroll and handed it back to Camira, her expression thoughtful.

"Of course, of course, you may enter." She granted permission. She couldn't stand in the way of something like this.

Stepping from behind the desk, she indicated to the other students who were waiting that she would return momentarily. She then gestured for Nico and Camira to follow her.

Jenn smiled. "Thanks."she said. Jenn frowned. "So you never get a chance, other than the summer, to fly? That's no fun."Jenn said saddly. Jenn smiled. "Maybe, sometime I could come by here and help in the library and then you could go and fly with me. It would be fun! Rian could come to!"Jenn said smiling at Rian and Madame Kohan.

Nicholai smiled in relief and shot a look at Camira before following the librarian back to the restricted section, grabbing Camira by the hand and dragging her along impatiently. He pulled his wand from his sleeve, ready to use lumos to fight off the darkness.

Ari practically burst into the library, her breathing irregular as she looked around for the librarian. She had been hopping to get into the restricted section before the term, well okay no before she got extremely busy and forgot. Spotting the woman at the front desk, she pushed past the two students who were rushing past her and took a deep breath, "Hello Madame! Can I get into the restricted section?" She asked, hoping the woman would remember. "I've been offered a part time job already and really needd to get going with it." she explained, huffing slightly.

Just as she was about to head off towards the restricted section, she noticed Ariana rush up to the desk. "Calm, dear." She instructed with a smile. "Yes, you may. And may I say that's fantastic that you secured a job already!"

Now gesturing for all three to follow her, she walked towards the restricted section, unable to help from wondering what could be hidden there...

"Yup, finished already" Rian replied, still smilng at Madame Kohan. She nodded. "I'm thinking about what kind of book I'd like though. I've been thinking about maybe a novel, I haven't read one of thouse for a while..." she trailed off, thinking about the many books she could choose from. Hearing Jenn, Rian looked at her, surprised, she hadn't seen her. "Um...I'd be glad to help in the library!" she said enthusiastically, "But flying's not exactly my thing..." she trailed off again, blushing.

Jenn was shocked. "You don't like....flying?"Jenn asked. Wow! That was a big shock for Jenn. Poor gal was just standing there, mouth open and all, looking at Rian like some new thing had come into exestiance. Jenn quickly closed her mouth and eyed Rian. "I thought everyone loved to fly."Jenn said quietly. She blushed slightly. Boy! How stupid was Jenn? Then all of a sudden Jenn jumped up and had a huge grin on her face. "I've got it!"she said putting her pointer finger in the air. "I can teach you how to fly and then you won't be so scared. Come on, it will be fun, and I won't laugh if you fall off. I promise. "Jenn said smiling to herself at her brilliants!

Madame Kohan nodded once, a slight smile on her face. "Sometimes I have the opportunity to do so during the school term." She answered. "But the periods of time in between that I have to wait only make it better when I do get to fly."

At Jenn's offer to help her in the library, the librarian smiled again. "Certainly. I can let you know if I'm ever in need of any assistance, and perhaps the flying bit could work as well in the future. We'll have to see."

Once she had returned to the desk, Madame Kohan set Rian's book off to one side. "That does sound like a good idea. Fiction or nonfiction?" She inquired. "Any particular subject matter?"

As Rian mentioned that she would like to help in the library, Madame Kohan sent a smile her way. "Thank you for the offer, dear. I'll let you know if something comes up."

"Well, flying isn't for everyone, but I"m sure you're quite talented in something." She added.

Rian chewed on her bottom lip, thinking about her answer. "Fiction," she decided, folding her arms and setting them gently on the counter. "I was thinking muggle...I haven't read a muggle book in a while." The continued chewing on her lip.

"No particular subject," she answered with a smile. "Do you have any recommendations?"

Jenn smiled. "Ok. Just give me a owl or something like that."she said. "I shall see you later then."she said to Madame Kohan. She hugged her, then walked off to the doors and was out of sight.
