Jenn smiled. "Yes I did, thank you."Jenn said. Jenn laughed. "Rian was wonderful."Jenn said.

"That's great! I do hope I'll see you in here more often then." She reached for the book, taking note of the subject that it covered. "Quidditch? You selected a great subject to start with. It's such a fun sport."

Tapping the back of the book with her quill, she peeked inside the back cover before returning it onto the desk for Jenn to retrieve.

Rian nodded a bit excitedly. "I'm sure I will," she said with a smile. She thought about Madame Kohan's suggestion, about asking the school nurse or Miss Trelawney. Rian would never have thought of that. "Thanks for telling me that," she said cheerfully, "Perhaps I'll try that, if I ever see that they can spare a moment." She grinned at the thought.

She picked up her book when it was tapped. "I bet I will," she laughed. "Thanks for your time." She smiled to herself when she heard Jenn tell Madame Kohan that she was wonderful.

"Hello," Anna greeted, politely replying with a smile, as well. She watched carefully as the librarian read over both notes...several times, mind you, and then smiled when it appeared that she and Nico were going to get the green light to enter after all. Oh, but lo and behold, the librarion, of course, had questions. Anna swallowed nervously and looked over at Nico. Maybe he had something good to say to that. When he didn't speak up immediately, Anna took a deep breath and tried to come up with something that would satisfy the librarian's curiosity.

"Well..., we, erm...we have a particular subject in mind. Pirates! Yes...pirates!" Anna explained. She glanced over at Nico and have him a look that clearly said, "Just play along," and the she continued with her explanation. "Professor Myers has a father who's a muggle historian. He was telling me all about muggle treasure hunts, and how pirates used to follow a map with the letter X marking the spot of the treasure. Nico and I would like to delve deeper into this subject, and we're thinking some of the books in the restricted section may help us. I wasn't able to find anything in the regular section. I'm afraid we're going to have to search that restricted section. You know pirates, ma'am...they're dark. Very dark...erm, muggles indeed!"

Cale fiddled with his satchel strap as he stood at the front desk waiting for Madame Librarian to come to the desk. He needed help looking for a book on freshwater animals and the plants that ate them, specifically Duckweed. He had been looking in the lake and some of it seemed off. He was worried about the purple spotted hardback toads that ate the plant.

Plus there was the added factor that he secretly wanted to see the Liberian herself. Cale had a small crush on her, not that he would admit that to anyone.

Anna was not a good liar. At all. Nicholai shot her a look that said 'we should trust her she's school staff'. Still he figured he'd wait and see what the Librarian said before going down the truth avenue. Nico plastered a casual smile on his face and squeezed Anna's hand again. "Dark muggles?" Nicholai sighed, "You know, its possible that some pirates were actually Wizards; that would explain the seemingly miraculous escapes they were often known by muggles to make."

Nico cocked his head, hoping that the librarian would understand what Anna meant by 'X marking the spot'. Partly because he wasn't sure he did. This was about last term right? And the letter to the Minster?

Madame Kohan nodded once in response to Rian's thanks for her suggestion. "You're quite welcome." Smiling again, she went on. "I'm sure you'll be able to get in touch with them in some way; perhaps send an owl asking for an appointment. At least then you'll be able to meet with them for certain, unless some emergency comes up with a student."

Setting down her quill as Rian picked up the book, Angela folded her hands and leaned on the desk. "You're welcome." She replied.

Looking curiously over at both of the students as silence fell between them at her question, Madame Kohan pondered as to whether this was all legitimate or not.

However, when the prefect began to speak…about pirates, at that, Angela shot her an amused smile. “Well, that is rather fascinating; and quite the interesting subject to research if I do say so myself. You could certainly say that pirates are very dark muggles, indeed. Did you know that there are still modern day pirates that sail the seas? It’s not heard of as much as it was in the past, when piracy was a common thing; but it still is present.”

They may very well have books on piracy in the restricted section, though she actually wasn’t completely certain. Ah, well, she’d be with them the entire time anyway….

A few words suddenly poked their way into her mind as she mentally repeated Anna’s explanation. X marks the spot of the treasure, hmm? She had heard about students searching for a treasure; and this certainly seemed connected.

Alas, she wouldn’t say anything right here, of course; not when everything could be overheard.

Madame Kohan gave an impressed nod as she heard his hypothesis. “You could certainly be quite right about that; especially since many of their escapes were quite daring and quite impossible to believe.”

Straightening up now, she folded both pieces of parchment and was on the verge of gesturing for the two to follow her, when she noticed another student. "One moment, you two."

Smiling at the Ravenclaw, she spoke again. "Yes? You're in need of some assistance?" She did not see a book in his hand, so she knew that he wasn't returning or borrowing anything. She figured he just needed to inquire of a location of a book.

For a moment, Anna didn't think the librarian would believe a single word she'd just said. Honestly, she wouldn't blame the librarian one bit if that was the case either. Anna's explanation about pirates did seem rather "out there."

Lo and behold, just as she was about to consider everything a lost cause, the librarian smiled, and then she proceeded to share lots of different ideas about the pirates and the fact that they still exist now-a-days. Anna smiled and then said, "Really, Madame? They do still exist?" Anna asked, the wheels starting to turn in her head once again. "Madame, are treasures hidden anywhere else besides at sea? And if they are, do you have any idea where a person could look if they wanted to find one?" Anna asked. "I'd, erm, just like to keep that in mind for my research."

When Madame Kohan told Nico and Anna to wait just a moment, Anna nodded and then moved slightly to the side so the librarian could address a Ravenclaw. Hopefully they'd get into that restricted section soon...

Cale's cheeks flushed a light pink high on his cheekbones rather close to his ears. He mumbled a few things trying to catch his breath. She was even more pretty when she smiled and he was very thankful that none of the boys were around to see his strange reaction to the Librarian. "Umm...sorry," he coughed. "I was looking for Pepper Poppington's Plants of the Aquatic Nature and the Animals That Eat Them but wasn't able to find it in section QE 2." He shifted his weight nervously from foot to foot. "I was wondering if it was checked out."

Finding the Ravenclaw's reaction a bit strange, though not giving on that she noticed anything, Madame Kohan simply folded her hands and waited for an answer. "Whew! Quite a mouthful there, isn't it?" She remarked with a chuckle.

As it was revealed that it wasn't in its normal section, however, Angela glanced back towards the shelves and then down at the area where the most recent books had been returned. Nope. Not there.

"Hmm, perhaps it's near the stained glass windows?" She suggested. "Some of the most recent books we've acquired end up there. It would most likely be in the Herbology section."

Oh hopping purple lilly pads! She has a really nice laugh. Cale's eyes took on a cloudy look as Madam Librarian laughed. He was so entranced that he didn't really realize she was telling him were to go look for the book. "Hmmmbahbm?" He leaned forward on the counter watching her then shook his head. "Oh - windows... Right."

Cale straightened and shook his head, making his brown hair shake a little as he did so. "I'll go look there. Thanks."

Stupid stupid, way to go Thornton. You're such a flake. He chastised himself as he walked away.

Madame Kohan smiled slightly again as the boy leaned forward a bit, mumbling something indistinguishible. My, my. This was certainly quite the turn of events. This term just seemed to be getting more interesting by the moment.

"You're very welcome. You can come back here if you still can't find it; and I'll try to help you figure out where it's been placed." She offered.

Watching for a moment as he walked away, Madame Kohan finally turned towards Anna and Nico. "Alright, you two. Let's go." Gesturing for them to follow her, she stepped from behind the desk and began to walk towards the Restricted Section.

Ludo smiled, stepping back towards the counter. "Yes. I'd be happy to share one of them with you sometime....although...I fear you might side with my mother." His grin spread across his face.

Madame Kohan called to him, but before he could respond she was off to the Restricted Section with two students. "Erm..yes, actually. Quick question that I thought you might know the answer to. Perhaps I'll just stop by your office later." , he said. He gave a small wave and walked out of the library, his hands in his pockets. He squinted his eyes a bit as the light from the stained glass windows shone into the room and exited out into the corridor.

Ahhh, finally! The coast was clear, and Anna and Nico were heading to the Restricted Section! Finally! Okay, so Madame Kohan was going with them, and Anna wasn't too sure how that was going to work, but at least they'd get to go.

"Thanks, Madame Kohan," Anna said, smiling at Nico and motioning for him to come along. Anna followed Madame Kohan in the direction of the Restricted Section.

OOC: How exactly does this work? Do I just head on over there and post now?

Nicholai smiled and followed Anna and the Librarian, wondering if Anna had a plan at all. Probably not; Gryffindors did tend to just rush on in there. He shook his head ruefully at the thought.

Barry came up to the desk he wasn`t going to wait for Cela anymore before he went looking for the treasure no sir he wasn`t waiting no more. People would already be searching he thought that he might ask the libarian about a book on the history of the order most people would be searching for the treasure but Barry knew what better place to start then the roots? He waited for the libarian to retern where was she or he. Barry couldn`t remember the libarian at all

Allie walked up to the front desk. She couldn;t help but be a little nervous, she never thougth she would need to go into the restricted section at all.

"Umm Hi." she said to the libraian. "I have a pass to get into the restricted section."
And she quickly held out the pass for her to see.

Tasha walked up to the front desk and saw a girl there. Stepping back, she looked round her as she waited, she orange eyes taking everything in.

Kayla walked up to the front desk. "Excuse Madam Kohan, I was wondering if you could tell me where I could find a book on conjuring solid objects, it's for my Transfig homework."

Jenn smiled. "I'm sure you will."she said. Then she grinned. "Thanks. I know isn't it. I love it."Jenn said smiling.

Jenn grabed the book. She smiled. "Thanks"

Where was the libarian? He was not waiting for her1 He had learned to wait a while but not an eternity that was it off to the bookshelves

Aly headed through the shelves over to the front desk. She stood staring up at the librarian with a smile on her face. "Do you need any help with anything?" She asked, setting her hands on the lady's desk. "I could help you put books away, or file some papers...or.." She blinked and chewed on her bottom lip while waiting for the response.

As Madame Kohan stepped back up to the desk, she noticed a line of students waiting for her return. With an apologetic smile, she promptly turned her attention to the first student.

Another pass to the Restricted Section? And this one was Professor Shackleton. Hmm. Looking over it carefully, she slowly nodded. "If you don't mind me asking, dear. What sort of exercise are you doing?"

"Yes? May I help you?" She inquired, looking over to the next student waiting in line.

"Oh, no problem at all. Check near the stained glass windows; those bookshelves right next to them. You should find a book there called 'Intermediate Transfiguration Magic.' It should have what you're looking for." She answered.

"Yes, it is. I remember playing Quidditch during my school years." Her voice trailed off for a moment as she imagined how great it would be to play Quidditch again. Perhaps they could hold another Quidditch game between staff and students as they had a few years back.

"You're very welcome."

As a Hufflepuff stepped up to the desk, and immediately inquired if she could help Angela in any way, Madame Kohan blinked in surprise before nodding slowly after taking a few moments to think.

"Actually...yes, I do need a bit of help." She answered. "These books do have to be placed back into their proper place." Indicating two long shelves behind the desk, both of which were stacked with books, she smiled at the girl. "If you would like the job, it's yours. Just...please be very careful with the books."

With his neon green hair young Nathaniel walked up to the front desk. "Good day" he said with a smile. "I'm wondering if you have any books about Metamorphmagi" Nate asked shoving his hands in his pockets

Kayla looked over shoulder to where the librarian had indicated and nodded her head as she turned back to Madam Kohan. "Thank you very much for your help" she replied giving the woman a smile.
