Nakshatras. Nakshatras. Twenty-something. Nancy was sure about that but twenty-what? Raising her hand still a bit unsure about her answer she said, "Uhm...27, Sir?" |

What in the devil Prefect Jones could've meant by being 'hard to spot', however, was anyone's guess. Perhaps he was talking about spying the stars themselves with the unaided eye. " Yes.", he nodded towards Wills' comment. " Yes, they rather can be hard to spot.", he said in an agreeable tone, sounding altogether senile. Quote:

" 'Dosha' is a sanskrit word meaning 'weakness' or 'fault', but a dosha may also be a strength. It relates to the Ayurvedic belief that a persons dosha affects their health. Who can name the three doshas and what elemental quality they each relate to?"

Daphne's head was spinning during this lesson. Divination was one of her least favourite classes. This question was pretty straightforward and she was able to look in her book for the answer. She raised her hand. "Erm, the three doshas are vatha, pitta, and kapha. Vatha relates to air and space, pitta relates to mainly to fire and some water, and kapha relates to mostly water with some earth," she said, hoping she pronounced everything correctly.

| Wowza! "The three Doshas are Vatta, Pitta and Kapha," said Willow with her slender hand in the air, "Vatta relates to Air and Ethere, while Pitta to fire and water. Kapha, on the other hand, is more inclined towards Earth and Water."

"Good. 3 points to you all. So, it is a little bit like the elements we find in Western and Chinese Astrology."
"In Indian Astrology, it is believe that within each of us, there are various qualities of personality. Psychological 'types' if you will. They are refered to as the strands in the rope of peronsality or the Gunas and there are three main types, which are...?"

"Yes, exactly!", he said, rather proud of his class for knowing the material. "They are almost comparable to the thinker, the doer, and the feeler. Two points for each of you."
"Moving on,...what is 'moksha'?"

Astrid said, with her hand raised. "Moksha represents the final purpose of life; breaking free from the cycle of rebirth and experiencing the ultimate state of oneness or liberation."

Cale raised his hand again. "Moksha literally means 'release' and refers to the release from samsara and all the limits of Earthly existance."

Daphne found a nice routine for this class. The Professor would ask a question, she would check her book, and answer the question. And she did just that, and raised her hand. "Moksha or mukti refers in Hinduism and Jainism, to liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth," she said, proud of the points she was getting for her house.

| Science Freak | Royalty in Love Daniel then raised his wand to answer. He was surprised of himself that he now pays attention to Divination "Moksha or Mukti , literally "release", is the liberation from samsara, the cycle of death and rebirth or reincarnation and all of the suffering and limitation of worldly existence. In Hindu philosophy, it is seen as a transcendence of phenomenal being, a state of higher consciousness, in which matter, energy, time, space, causation and the other features of empirical reality are understood as maya." |
