Edd stepped in through the portrait hole. After taking a second to look around he walked up to a comfy looking armchair, picked up some parchment on the desk and sat down.
He leaned back against the soft back of the chair and pulled out his wand, he tapped the parchment lightly then pulled out a quill and dabbed it in the nearby inkwell. Then he got to work on writing on the rigid parchment.

Hannah looked over to see a boy she'd never met scribbling furiously on a piece of parchment. "Hello," she said as she approached him. "I'm Hannah. Doing homework or writing a letter home?" she asked with a smile.

Oh no. Oh no. Uh oh...Usagi can imagine the blabbing after her question. She cannot help but squeal and talk excitedly with an endless speech of the awesomeness of Twilight. And her latest lesson at Diagon Alley was that squealing was totally not good in gaining people's interest.

Demetria? Why in the name of Dumbledore does she had to share the name with the famous Disney princess, Demi Lovato? No, this only adds to all the squealings nevertheless. Pressing her lips hard to conceal her sigh, Usagi mustered a broad smile with all the effort in the world. "Yeah, I think there's nothing more awesome than Twilight. I'm Usagi, second year. Usa is also fine, that's what I go as amongst my closest friends."

"I love Twilight!!!!" Hannah said enthusiastically. She blushed. "Sorry... I get a little overexcited when it comes to books sometimes," she said with a smile. "Especially great ones like Twilight. I'm Hannah, by the way. We met last year, but it was brief, so I'm not sure if you remember me," she said lightly. She didn't take it personally - it's not like they'd gotten to know each other too well. They just hung out with some of the same friends. "What part are you at?" she said, gesturing to the book Usagi was holding. "Are you reading it again, or is this your first time through?"

"Oh, hi, Hannah. Um," Usagi took a glance at the current open pages. "Carlisle's measuring Renesmee. And FYI, this is my billionth time of reading this book. I'm hooked." Yep, that's the only information she needed. Another Twilighter around, how cool is that?

Chalice saw someone she didn't recognize sitting at a desk writing on rigid parchment. "Hello, I'm Chalice. Who are you?" she said when she reached the desk he was sitting at.

"Nice to meet you Usa. Awesome name. I was named after my grandfather Demyx, except my parents gave me the female version of it." she listened to Usa and Hannah talk about how good twilight is. "Well, that sounds like a book I will definatly have to put on my christmas list."

"Ok, good. I didn't want to accidentally ruin anything for you by talking about it, so I had to make sure!" Hannah said to Usagi with a smile. "I didn't know that's where you got your name, Dem. That's cool,"

Anna sluggishly walked into the Common Room, clutching the left side of her head. That entire side of her head had been aching for hours, and she was afraid she knew just what the problem was---an ear infection. She groaned in pain and then plopped down on the Common Room couch. This was excruciating to say the least. Anna rolled over on the couch and frowned, deciding that it was near about time to drag herself to the Hospital Wing and see if the nurse or nurse intern had any potions to help her.

Wait---nurse intern. Anna suddenly sat stright up on the couch, a certain charm taught to her by none other than Miss Trelawney suddenly popping into her head. Anna stood up, pulled her wand from her robes, and got ready to heal what she had self-diagnosed to be an ear infection.

Hurrying over to a nearby mirror, so she could accurately see where her wand was pointing, Anna lifted her wand up to her left ear. She swirled clockwise twice, pulled back, and then exclaimed, "Auris!" She put her wand back into her robe pockets and waited to see if the charm would help the pain she was currently in. Soon enough, the pain quickly started to edge away, and within minutes, Anna found herself completely healed!

"I see you've been taking charms seriously, Anna," Hannah said with a smile. She knew how Anna and Cale liked to torment the (terrifying) nurse intern.

Anna walked to a corner of the Common Room and placed the following notice on an endtable for all to see:

Demetria walked into the common room after a long day. She plopped down on a chair and stared at the walls. She was exhausted, but too lazy to walk up to her dorm.

Chris walked into the common room and spotted Demetria and plopped down on a chair next to her. "Sup cuz?"

Chalice strolled in through the Portrait Hole and went to the notice. SHe read it and decided it was time to do some homework. "Hi." she said when she spotted Chris and Dem.

Hey Chalice Whats up?" he said as he huged her

"Not too much. How about you??" Chalice said hugging Chris back.

Kairi sat quietly on the window ledge, Mitchi perched on her shoulder, and a book in her lap. Her hair had grown since she'd started Hogwarts. It was now past her shoulders, and just over a quarter way down her back. She was sucking on a blood lollipop, when she looked up and to see Chris with Twinkletoes and Dexter. She cocked her head slightly, and twirled her two necklaces around her fingers. She needed to end it with Chris, it had to be over. She was going to leave before next term started, she couldn't just leave without saying goodbye. Seeing him with Twinkletoes and Dexter made the thought a little easier to handle. He would be able to find a new girlfriend in no time at all. She took the lollipop from her mouth, looked at it a second, then held it up to Mitchi, who immediately pecked it to pieces. She grinned, and returned to her book.

"Hey Chris. Not much. Just super duper tired. Just finished my Arithmancy final. How about you." she asked. Chalice walked over and sat down. "Hey Chalice."

"Im good too. I've done my Muggle Studies final just now."

Chris walked into the common room. He was still loads confused about what had happened at the Whomping Willow. He walked right to a chair and sat in it with out even saying anything to anybody.

"yea. I don't know what it is but after I took that test I got super tired. It's like I used all my brain energy on one exam. Is that even possible?" she chuckled. "How is muggle studies, by the way? I didn't take it this term and I'm debating whether or not to take it next term."

"Yeah, how was the arithmancy exam? I was going to take it but I don't know I went to the first lesson and was lost."

"I personally didn't think it was all that hard. As long as you study it's simple. I like arithmancy." she told Chalice

Lucas opened the common room door with a big smile on his face.He was away on a leave because of his leg injury but now he was back, back where he belonged, with his friends.His friends,would they remember him its been nearly 5 months and his smile vanished at that thought.

“Well here goes nothing.” He said to himself stepping inside.
He entered the common room was a little different from what he remembered but it didn’t matter and he looked around the room among many unfamiliar faces to find ones that he knew.
