Finishing her drawing, that she had made of the terrifying Clabbert. Liz nervously walks closer to the group. Handing the professor her drawing, "here is my drawing professor". Liz says with a small nervous smile.

Cale must have seriously spaced out or something, because suddenly, everyone in class had a partner and he...didn't. Well, that was unusual. There was always at least one female who had the courage to ask him to partner up. Except today, of course. Blushing, he turned to the professor and smiled sheepishly.

"I erm, don't seem to have a partner," he told her. Ohmigosh, this was embarrassing. Cale hated being partnerless.

Care of Magical Creatures class was amazing. Now they were drawing, but oh oh...She had no partner. She looked around. She could see Newell, partnerless as well. She wondered if she could just get close and ask him but, she doubted.

The grown up girl chuckled at the sight of Lucas's blushing. Cute boy! "See they seems excited to see you.." she teased him for fun.

"Thank you Professor," she flashed a smile and patted the clabbert,gently as much as she could. "Hey Pintoo.." she called out the name. She liked the name herself.

Wow, Cale didn't have a partner? That was unusual. Sophie remembered, Anna mentioning that he always had girls after him. An idea suddenly came to her and a sly smile followed. "Anna, do you mind partnering up with Cale? I'm sure Ella and Lucus can manage by themselves." She said innocently.

Sophie smiled and took the drawing. "That's very nice and fast too." Sophie smiled as she continued to look at the drawing.

"Let's go!" Anna said, following Ella's lead and walking forward to pet the clabbert. Anna smiled sweetly at the clabbert she was petting. "Oh, naming them sounds like fun!" Anna said, giggling while remembering the name she gave her Abraxan last school year. "I think I'll name this one...CANNA!" she said. "It reminds me of a special relationship I have with a special someone."

"Actually, this is one of my best subjects," Anna said, answering Ella's question. "I love magical creatures of all types. I just have a soft spot for them. Well, not all of them...the ones who won't kill me, of course!" Anna continued smiling at Canna and petting him. He seemed...sweet.

"I agree, Lucas," Anna said, smiling at how bashful he looked to be holding the hands of two girls. He was such a cutie. Anna really thought a lot of Lucas and was glad to be his partner.

Well...THAT was all it took to get Anna's attention away from the Canna the Clabbert. Anna stopped petting Canna and turned around to smile at Cale. Of course he had a partner, the silly boy. He'd always have one as long as she was around.

"Cale!" Anna called out, waving at him from where she was standing. "Come on over! You can join us!" Anna smiled when Professor Brooks asked her to partner up with Cale. She tapped her finger on her chin, jokingly pretending to think. "Well, of course I will!" Anna replied. Before turning her attention back to Cale, Anna gave Professor Brooks a quick thumbs up sign.

She smiled at the professor as she said she was impressed. she was quite pleased seeing as all the other classes seemed to be a disaster. this was one was going well. "Nope. My mother works with magical creatures so i've been around them since i was little." she explained as she heard that she would have to sketch it. Perfect. she moved to make a quick sketch as she would stop to pet it a few times when it looked like it was getting a bit frustrated or bored."done." she said mostly to herself as she set the sketch to the sided and gently picked up the creature. she moved to give it a smile as she petted its head.

Allie patted her Clabbert. "Okay." she said. "Lets draw you!"
She sat down and started sketching her image.

Dominic frowned slightly at her reluctance with feeding them. How could she not have any? Wasn't she the Professor who looked after them which included feeding them? "None?" he asked curiously, raising a brow. "But how are they cared for then?"

Sighing quietly, he nodded when she told them they could pat a clabbert now and... draw it?! Oh dear. He hoped his drawing skills were up to speed...


He had to smile again when Camira seemed interested in feeding them too. Perhaps they could fetch some lizards together ...


Following Camira towards a Clabbert, he was right next to her as she softly spoke to it. Odd; so apparently he was partnered with a creatures fiend. This was going to be much fun! Please, don't dirty my robes and everything will be okay was his one thought/prayer before he too spoke to the creature. "Hi there. We won't hurt you..." he replied softly, hoping it would return the favor.

"What shall we name it?" he whispered to Camira.

Anna knelt down and pulled some parchment and a quill out of her bag. She loved to draw. It was true that she was no artist, but she was pretty confident that she could get something that resembled a clabbert onto her parchment. Anna looked up at Canna, taking notice of his shape, color, and, of course, postule. She then began to draw what she hoped would actually look like the creature.

Draw! Draw them! ohh dear Alexis wasn't even sure her stickman looked like stickmen! but she should at least give it ago she though as she looked at the Clabbert nearest her

She was a bit disappointed when she didn't have any lizards for the clabberts. And Dominic had a good question. Who fed these poor little creatures if nobody had any lizards to give them? She frowned slightly at the thought of them starving. She would find their clabbert some lizards.

She realized then that Dominic was next to her, talking to the clabbert as well. Good. She wasn't the only one. She turned to watch him. It was actually quite endearing.

"Hmm. I don't know. Is it a boy or a girl?" That would matter, of course. She didn't want it to have gender confusion issues on top of it.

"Do you want some yummy lizards? I'll find you some if you let me pet you", she continued to the clabbert.

"Sure," Cale said with a grin as the professor suggested that he partner up with Anna. Either luck was on his side today, or the professor had heard about Anna and Cale's little romantic history. It seemed ALL the professors did these days.

"Hey Anna, hey Lucas," he greeted each of them as he walked over to the group. "So, I guess I better catch up, huh?" he mumbled as he pulled out his parchment and started to sketch. After having so much practice, he whipped up a picture rather quickly, even though Anna's was way better than his. "I didn't know you could draw like that!" he whispered as he peered over at her drawing.

He smiled up at her. "They do?" He asked her timidly. He hoped they did like him. He just simply hated to not be loved. He wanted everyone and everything to be happy and be happy around him.

He smiled at Anna. He looked between Anna and Ella, He was having the time of his life. Two pretty older girls were holding his hand and doting on him. He wanted to float on a cloud and eat a tub of ice cream he was so happy. Then the clabberts were really liking them. Canna was being very friendly. He ever let Lucas pet him. "Hi I'm Lucas, Lucas Greenwood." He said smiling at the clabbert and introducing himself.

He turned around and saw Cale. "Hi Cale. You can come see our clabbert. Anna named him Canna. Hey that sounds like your name and Anna's name put together." He said with a smile as if he figured out some big thing.

Sophie noticed that other students didn't have partners. "It's ok. You can just join a group and start sketching if you don't have a partner." Sophie said.



"Well they live in the wild. They know how to care for themselves." Sophie answered. "If you can find a lizard, you can feed them. However they know how to find their own food."

Sophie started to walk around, looking at all the drawings. “Very good. Keep it going!”

"Thank you professor" Liz says with a sigh, after the professor took the picture.

Backing away slowly back to where she had been watching. Liz sits back down on the ground, and watches the class and keeps an eye on the Clabberts too.

After several attempts Alexis gave up and decided just to hand in the picture
she had, it wasn't good but you could atleast
tell it was some sort of animal

Ok. Melinda wasn't the best drawer in this entire world. She just did it sometimes, to relax, but always hid them because they were hidious. She looked at the drawing. It didn't look like anything as the clabbert shown to class. Poor thing, you are just about to be called ugly because of this drawing. Melinda thought in a lot of anger towards her.

Asteira was holding the creature in her arms as she petted its head. "Professor." she asked as she moved from her spot and walked over to the professor." does this one have a name? I mean im sure you named them since you take care of them." she would prefer to call its by its name instead of calling it it. Cause it was pretty generic."Ooo can we name them?" she asked if they didnt have names.

Lucas let go of Anna and Ella hands, even though he didn't want to, but he had to draw his picture. he pulled out some parchment and a quill.



That was the best he could do. He really didn't like it, but he thought Canna would like it if he saw it.

Not breaking his gaze from the Clabbert, Dominic was sure Camira was backing him up on this question of feeding. Poor dears; undernourished by the Professor... he would have to find them some lizards.

"A boy, definitely," he nodded, not breaking his gaze from the little hybrid creature. Truth was that he didn't know, but the thought of his clabbert being female, terrified him. "Though I suppose we could go with a unisex name. Just to be safe."

His thoughts were confirmed on the lizard idea when Camira offered to find him some. Eye twinkling, he was delighted at the sight of the clabbert moving towards them. They're coaxing had worked!

"I say we call him ... Slytherpuff" he suggested, reaching his hand to touch the cool skin of the clabbert.


That was when he heard the response the Professor gave about her not needing to feed them. "But, don't you think they need... deserve to be fed sometimes?" he frowned, still not understanding. "And fine, if we find lizards - which we will - then we'll feed our clabbert one."

"Canna?" Cale asked with a chuckle. "It does...that's original," he added with a smile. He bent down a bit closer to look at him some more. "He does look really friendly, I just need to get a bit closer to get the angle right between the horns..." he mumbled.

Moving a few inches closer, Cale kept his eye on the clabbert rather than his drawing--or his feet for that matter. Not noticing that there was a rock lying in the middle of the grass, his foot caught on the sharp point at the top and he flew forward, parchment and quill flying everywhere as Cale landed right on top of the poor little clabbert.

As predicted, Canna did NOT take very kindly to that at all. It made a short of shrieking sound after Cale landed on it and managed to snake it's way out from underneath him and shot off in the opposite direction, hissing slightly and running full speed right at Anna.

She gave Dominic a real smile. “Slytherpuff is perfect.” She couldn’t believe she was saying that, but it was true. It was their clabbert after all so it was half Slytherin and half Hufflepuff.

Oooh, yes. She was finally petting it. And it wasn’t running. “Awww. You like that, don’t you. You are just so precious…” She spent a few more minutes lavishing it with affection before she took a step back and sat on the floor, pulling out her sketch pad. She starting carefully outlining the body, looking up at the clabbert frequently. She wanted this picture to be perfect. After about 15 minutes and a whole lot of furious sketching, she was satisfied. She reached out to give the clabbert one last pat, before showing her picture to the Professor. “I’ve finished my drawing.”

"Well, when i went hunting for them I gave them a treat. I just didn't find it fitting to bring animals here to be used as food. But yes, they do deserve a treat, so feeding them is optional." Sophie replied.

Oh no, All Sophie saw was Cale fall right on top of his Clabbert and it was heading to Anna, clearly scared to death. "ANNA! Watch out!" She called, hoping she'd move out of its way.
