CoMC- Class 1 The sun was shining, the grounds was as green as could be. Basically it was a beautiful day for a CoMC lesson. As you walk over to where the class is being held, you see wooden logs set up in a semi circle. Sophie stands at the front with a huge smile on her face, just waiting to get started. "Come on over and find a log everyone. I will be starting in a few minutes." She calls. |
Allie walked to class, and took a seat on the log. "Hello Professor!" she said. "Its a beautiful day, isnt it?" |
Anna strolled out onto the grounds, practically bouncing in excitement. Professor Brooks class was always---ALWAYS---a treat! Anna got along so well with the professor, and she even looked up to her a good deal. She'd been waiting for a while for this class to start. After admiring the beautiful day, Anna looked over to see a group of wooden logs set up in a semi-circle fashion, with Professor Brooks standing right at the front. Anna flashed a smile in the professor's direction and then took a seat on a log nearby Professor Brooks. "Good day, Professor Brooks," Anna greeted. |
At last, the first care of magical creatures lesson. Valentine was exicted for this class most of all. And it seemed as though it took forever for it to come. But now it was. Valentine had a small smiled across her face as she walked over to the semi circle of logs, finding one close to where the teacher stood so she could pay more attention. Close is better than far after all. |
Astrid walked over to a log in the middle of the circle. As she sat down, she waved at the Professor and said, "Good afternoon Professor Brooks. How are you today?" |
Camira walked over to the professor. "Hello, Professor Brooks", she said cheerfully. "How was your summer?" She actually liked this class, as long as there were no kneasles involved. She heard the professor's instructions and walked over to a log and sat down on it. Not the most comfortable thing, but it was better than standing. |
For Issy, it had been a while since she'd last visited Professor Brooks who just so happened to be one of her favorite professors ever, and not just because of the flying abraxans, the marshmallows, and the Hogwarts Brigade. However, these were admittedly large factors in the situation. Still. Visiting Professor Brooks, class or not, felt a little strange, because Issy was not with Juni. Juni was always by her side whenever they went to see the Professor or attended any of the classes. Deep down, it made her just a little... bittersweet. Still, she made her way to one of the little log benches and dropped her bag upon the seat. "Hullo, Professor," she greeted Professor Brooks, waving her fingers in a twinkling fashion. |
Dominic strode out onto the grounds for he heard Care of Magical Creatures class was going to begin shortly. It wasn't the creatures that he minded - he found them quite interesting. Rather it was the apparent glow on this Professor's face which had him alarmed. Honestly, what was the need for her to be so.... so... cheerful. Sighing, he walked over towards a log, away from where the two gryffindors were and stared at. Sit on it!? Oh no. He was not having a campfire with these crazies! |

Ariana walked along briskly, trying to keep warm as she smiled at professor Brooks. "Hello Professor!" she said happily, a warm grin on her face as she sat down on a log and put down her bag. She sat quietly, wondering what the lesson would be about. |
Elizabeth walked out onto the grounds as she started to wonder what they were going to learn in CoMC. Finally, she got to class to see several students already there, along with the professor. Smiling at Professor Brooks, she said, cheerfully, "Hi Professor Brooks. It's really gorgeous out here today, isn't it? I love when the weather's like this." She made her way over to the logs, finding a seat not far from Anna and one of her fellow Ravies. |

Ross noticed astrid sitting on a log so he decided that he should walk over and sit beside her. On his way to his seat he waved to professor brooks and shouted "Hey, miss" |
Uh. Care of Magical Creatures. Great. After having taken her sweet time to comb her long hair, and putting a navy blue head band on it just do decorate it, clean her already immaculate shoes, checking to see if she had all the neccesary materials for Care of Magical Creatures, and doing many, many things that weren't neccesary for her to do --she was stalling. She didn't want to go to Care of Magical Creatures, obvious-- Willow, looking rather defeated, wandered out of the castle, and headed to the place where the class would take place. Well--at least the sun was shinning. This was a good thing, considering that the fourth year was in need for tan. So pale her skin was right now, that it was beginning to freak her out a bit. Noticing Iss--Isabella (Willow had to remind herself that Issy was not her real name, and that it was a nickname) the fifteen year old made her way swiftly towards her frien and took seat beside her, before placing her messenger bag on her lap. "Hey, Isabella," greeted Willow easily, with a half smile. "Hello, Professor Brooks!" said the girl remembering she had not greeted her Care of Magical Creatures professor. |
Wow, before she knew it the class was filling up. It was exciting to have so many eager students. Sophie continued to wave and say her greeting. Quote:

This was the first time Sophie taught boys; she looked around to see a few of them, one looking not too impressed. She hoped they'd be as friendly and easy to teach as the girls last year. |
Qaz plopped down on a log...not the most graceful of girls. It was a beautiful day to be outside. |
Asteira made her way down to the magical creatures class as she couldnt wait. This was pretty much her favorite class and she hoped that she wouldnt screw it up like the others. Which werent her fault, may she add. "Hello Professor." she said with a grin as she waited for some further instructions. |

Seeming has how he had little choice in the matter, Dominic carefully sat down on the log. He'd need to scourgify his robes later for any griminess that would appear there from Merlin only knows where these logs had been before! Waiting quietly, he gazed around as the logs started filling up with students... |
Molly made her way over to the class and quickly found an empty spot on a log as far away from the professor as she could. |

"Take a seat...well log. Just a few more minutes. Can anyone guess what we are studying? I'll give you a hint. They will match the grass." |
Match the grass? But how in the name of Canaries were they supposed to see them or even work with them. Shrugging, Dominic thought of small creatures that they could possibly be studying. He raised his hand timidly and spoke in response to her question. "Could it be bundimuns? They are small and resemble greenish fungus with eyes. Or maybe bowtruckles, but they more blend in with the trees than the grass..." |
Camira raised her hand. "Could it be a boomslang? The females are green. Or maybe a clabbert?" She had no idea if the animal was green or if it could blend in with whatever. |

Qaz raised her hand and replied, 'A moke is silver-green...that would blend in with grass.' |
