When MJ heard that points had been taken away from Hufflepuff once more she got depressed. She knew that they really couldn't afford to lose any points, her house was already at negative and she had never seen that happen before. She sighed and knew that they could easily be gained back if every hufflepuff did their best. She gave the girl a small smile and looked up to see the demonstration.

Piper was very, very glad she was sitting int the back of the class as The teacher picked Anna and Cale to go up front. She leaned forward eagerly, excited to see what would happen next.

Miranda sensed the apprehension of some of the students whats up with that? Are they afraid they might make misstakes and send them flying towards the other students? They dont look incapable to me, maybe im imagining things, they seem like they know what their doing...

Miranda saw the girl give her a smile, she turned red again looking down. She looked up however and saw the two students get up front of the class

"I'm sorry. Did you have a question, or was there something you wanted to share with the class?' Callie asked the young girl as she saw her muttering to herself.

Callie saw the reaction on Cale's face was one of shock, as if to say "No! Anyone but me!" Something told her this was going to be a very interesting demonstration, she only hoped the two Gryffindor Prefects would behave themselves.

"You're very welcome. Who better then to demonstrate this charm for us? After all you did such a great job demonstrating Glisseo last term." Callie smirked.


"Ok, now if the two of you are ready. I'm going to ask you both to stand around this desk here." Callie said as she pointed to an empty desk near the front of the room.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" Callie cried out, as she pointed to the balloons, levitating them over to the desk where Anna and Cale were about to stand at.

"Now, there are two balloons here. One for each of you. When I ask you to, one of you is going to go first and cast the levitation charm on the balloon. You will lift the balloon over your partner's head and hold it there for a count of 10 seconds before levitating it back down onto the desk. Now remember, you have to concentrate. If you lose concentration even for just a second, the balloon will wind up on top of your partner's head, and I don't think he or she will be very pleased."

"Are there any questions?"

Rapunzel winced - yes, actually winced - when Hufflepuff lost more points. Yikes. This was worse than last term, and that's saying something.

But at least they were having a demonstration now, by the two Gryffindor Prefects. Lovely. Shame Punz didn't really know them...although the girl one did look familiar, maybe from playing Quidditch? Yes? Hopefully she'd soak the boy. Heeeheh.

Her back straightened instantly as Daphne saw her prefects take the floor a uneasy feeling resting at the pit of her stomach. Anna's eyes looked like she could catch fire any minute and conjure a large leather whip out of nowhere, declaring that she would be the winner and that he might as well bow to her and beg for mercy if he didn't want his flesh to be whipped from his bone.

Cale looked just as determined but less confident. Daphne didn't want to recognize it as fear.


Coughing, she shook her head before speaking. "Just wondering if I should move my desk back to make more space for their..." Death Match? Battle of the Sexes? World War Three? Zeus versus Hera. "Demonstration?"

And Latex. Balloons are made of latex.

Astrid gently nudged Allie with her elbow and smiled. She was on the edge of her seat, and on the verge of a horrible giggle fit. She had to wonder if the professor had this planned all along.

Livvy's lips curved into a small smile and one of those "eek" expressions. It was clear these two Gryffindor Prefects would not do well together. By how they acted towards each other, it's amazing how they survived! Uh-uh... this definitely would be an interesting demonstration.

Mari's shoulders slumped a bit as she heard that there were going to be partners in the class. She just hoped that she wouldn't get some first year student who would drench her. Of course, she could always use Impervius, she thought with a resigned look on her face. She would wait to see who her partner was before she did that though.

Excited, Melinda heard the lesson from the back of the room and let the new students answer the questions about Charms, list at least one of them and explain what is the Levitating Charm and what would happen if it was mispronounced. Also, she wasn't so in the mood of speaking her voice out, she had been too much time outside the school and she was having sort of a cold.

Then, Professor Callie called Anna and Cale? This should be interesting. She stood up straight to see what would happen and let out a little cheer for Anna. "Go Anna..." She just said those words, barely whispering.

Raiden's eyes bulged a bit when the Professor told Anna and Cale to levitate the balloons over each others' heads. This... was definitely going to turn into a watery massacre. He scooted his seat back a bit, not knowing just how far the water would splash. Better safe than soaked, after all... He felt for his friends, though. Their soaking was inevitable.

Evolette pressed her lips together tightly to keep from giggling out loud. Cale and Anna infront of the class, demonstrating? Dear Merlin. Her blue eyes watched the look on her "Boyfriend's" face as he glared at Anna. Haha this was going to be hilarious.

She settled back into her seat twisting her hair around her finger as she watched, an amused smirk on her lips.

Miranda grinned when she heard the professors instructions this is going to be fun to watch! But i guess not so much when its our turn Mirandas eyes grew wide as to not miss a thing

Allie looked over at Astrid when she nidged her, and saw she was also about to start giggling like crazy. But something about seeing her friend like this, made her want to giggle even more.
She had to literally cover her mouth with both hands to make sure no sound came out of her mouth.

Callie knew better, but seeing as she didn't hear the girl's comments, she gave her the benefit of the doubt this time. Shaking her head, she just answered, "No, you're fine where you are. Unless you don't trust your classmates of course. Then you can move it back a bit. It's up to you."

Lucas was so happy he didn't miss this class. It was going to a wet, sloshy mess and Lucas wanted to be in the middle of it. He could hardly hold himself back while Anna and Cale got to go first.

"Glisseo demonstration?" Anna asked, her eyebrows wrinkling in confusion. "Ah, yes. I remember. That unfortunate incident with the sliding..."

Anna did as she was told and stood around the desk. To be perfectly honestly, when she was shooting smirks at Cale in the classroom, she felt a lot different than she did standing right next to him now. Right now, she sort of, kind of just wanted to cry again. Oh, well. No time for those things.

Anna blinked in surprise when the professor called out the incantation, and she watched as the balloons levitated over to the desk. Anna listened to all the instructions and then shook her head. "No, professor. No questions. I'm ready when you are," she answered.

Ebony watched the demonstration, an amused little smile on her face.

Oh for the love of Merlin. Why did it have to be over their HEADS? Cale decided this professor was doing this just to spite him. She had to know that Anna hated Cale right now, right?

Well, at least he hadn't straightened his hair today. THAT would have been a disaster.

"Ok, I'm ready Professor," he told her, confidently standing his ground on his side of the desk as the balloons made their way over to them.

Pushing her seat back an inch (or two or three), Daphne dragged the desk along with her, not trusting herself to speak to the Professor. It wasn't that she didn't trust Anna or Cale for that matter it was just--

Stopping, Daphne eyed the distance she had put between them before pushing her seat back just one more time.

It wasn't that she didn't trust them! It wasn't that at all.

"Yes, the very unfortunate incident. Hopefully this demonstration will go much better."

Seeing Cale look a bit anxious, Callie tried to give him a reassuring smile. "All set then, alright!"

Callie turned to Anna, "Why don't you go first. Pick a balloon, cast the charm on it, remember it's Win-Gar-Dium Levi-O-Sa, nice and clear. Hold the balloon over Cale's head for 10 seconds and gently levitate it back down.

Then turning back to Cale, Callie said "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll have nothing to worry about. Anna's an excellent student. This should be very painless." At least Callie hoped it would be painless for poor Cale.

MJ didn't care if she got wet or not but she knew if something happened to her books she would have a heart attack. Book were the most precious thing to her. She looked at her books and did the Impervius spell, or was it a charm? Even thought she knew that now they would repel water she still moved them away from harms way.

Waiting to see what will happen. Liz remembers learning this spell, and looks forward to trying it again!

Nico narrowed his eyes and turned in his seat to shoot a 'what do you make of this' look to Evolette. Apart from her, the majority of the class was 'Team Anna'. The thing was that Nico was torn over whether he wanted to see Anna do the charm well or intentionally turn Cale into an oversized drowned rat.

He kind of wished he had sat further back, even if he was protected from the possibility of water getting all over him.

Miranda was watching with an open mouth, between Cale who looked anxious and Anna who seemed...hmmm something. She shut her mouth, hoping no one had noticed and waited. She was glad she wasnt sitting at the front of the class
