As you step through the Arithmancy classroom doors, you see a generic set-up for a classroom: neatly-positioned rows of wooden desks and chairs. Professor Shackleton has provided a number of cushions in a myriad of colors and textures that are stacked by the door for you to choose from to match your comfort and liking. The walls are filled with thick wooden shelves, yet the seemingly endless number of Arithmancy texts and the occasional Ancient Runes and Divination reference that normally rest on those shelves are absent. Instead, two large cardboard boxes sit on the floor in front of the shelving unit.

When you look to the front of the room, you see a tall, blonde-haired woman in hematite-colored robes sitting behind a desk made of dark angelique wood. On the desk is a small placard reading "Professor Macadrian A. Shackleton - Arithmancy," as well as a small stack of thin, leather-bound booklets, an assortment of papers and quills, several copies of the class textbook, and a small pouch that she keeps very close by her left hand. Despite that she appears at first glance to look very much as she always has, something seems different about her, though it is difficult to place. She smiles delicately at you as you enter the classroom and makes a small gesture for you to take a seat.

Camira walked into the classroom, quite happy at the thought of arithmancy. She really did love it. "Good day, Professor Shackleton", she said cheerfully, before talking a seat in the front.

Xehanna walked through the doors her notebook in hand and sat down waiting for the rest of the class to arrive. she was so excited to be here. she loved arithmancy. it had always been her favorite subject and now she got to learn it the magic way

Demetria walked in. Finally classes have started!!! She walked over and sat down next to a slytherin girl and waited for her class to start. "Hello Professor. I am so looking forward to this class!" she said with a smile. She looked over at the Slytherin girl. "Hello. I'm Demetria. This is so exciting isn't it!" Demetria pulled out her notebook and quill ready to write anything and everything the teacher said.

Allie walked into Arithmancy class.
"Hello Professor, how are you?" said Allie, as she walked in and took a seat up front.

Molly stumbled into the classroom and headed for a seat in the back. She was feeling extra tired and wanted nothing more than to sit.

Qaz walked in and found a seat at the back of the room. Being in a classroom made it all real!

Astrid entered the classroom directly after Allie. She took the seat beside her and hung her bag on the chair. "Hello Professor Shackleton. Nice to see you again, ma'am."

Lima strolled into the class. She smiled at the Professor and said, "hello, Professor Shackleton!" and took a seat. She was eager to begin as this was her best class.

Elizabeth walked into Arithmancy class, wondering what they were going to learn about this term. Smiling at Professor Shackleton, she said, "Hi, Professor. Are you having a good day?" She could sense the excitement coming from some of the younger students, which made her smile. Arithmancy wasn't one of her favorite classes, but she still enjoyed it.

Finding an empty seat second row from the front, she sat down, pulling her journal from last term out, as well as her textbook and a quill. Placing them all on her desk, she waited quietly for class to start.

Ella walked in, smiling at the Professor, "Good day, Professor!" said as she casually flipped her hair to her side, picked her favourite baby pink color silk cushion before settled down on the first row. The atmosphere was great even though with a less number of students. Her eyes spotted Lima. She smiled and gestuerd her to come to the first row to her next.

"Hello Professor Shackleton" Savannah greeted happily, upon entering the class room. It was nice to be back, but looking to her head of house she couldn't help but think something might be wrong. Or different, atleast. "How are you, ma'am?" She asked, taking her usual seat in the front.

Qaz saw Elizabeth come in and take a seat towards the front...bummer. Hopefully, somebody she knew would come in and sit next to her....

Lima looked up to see Ella gesturing for her to sit beside her. wondering how she had missed seeing her friend, she got up taking all of her stuff and went to sit at the front beside her. "Hey," she whispered as she took her seat. "I was worried that I'd be stuck here alone." She laughed. She knew that Mads wouldn't be caught dead in an Arithmancy class.

Jordan walked into the arithmancy class and sat down in an empty chair. She opened up her bag taking out a quill. "Hello Professor" She said with a smile. She was ready to have something to do to help with the boredom, and work would definatly do that.

"Hi.." Ella whispered back, "really? what about your partner?" she winked and nudged on her side. Lima would be a great treasure since she was so strong in this subject where Ella was not.

Mariel eagerly walked into the classroom and found a seat near the front. "Hello, Professor," she said, with a grin. This was a class she had been looking forward to, something mind-stimulating. Sitting down and opening her book, she waited expectantly for the class to begin.

Daphne slowly walked into her first lesson of the term. Her bubblegum pink satchel hung over her left shoulder, bouncing uncomfortably with each step. She blamed that on the heavy text book, bulking up her small bag. Nonetheless, she was glad to be back at Hogwarts, attending Hogwarts classes.

She found an empty seat and reached into her knapsack to grab a blank roll of parchment and a brand new quill and inkwell. Arithmancy was by no means her favourite subject, but she decided she would do well this year. That was mostly due to her parents' disappoint with her performance in the past. She decided to prove them wrong.

"Hello, Professor Shackleton," Anna greeted. She smiled at the professor and then surveyed the classroom, looking for a friend or two to sit with. Ahhh, Allie and Astrid were here. Anna made her way through the classroom and sat in a desk right behind her two Gryffindor friends. She took out a quill and some parchment and got ready for the first Arithmancy lesson.

"Good Day, Proffessor," Sarah greeted happily, before making her way to the nearest empty seat. Hogwarts seemed so much better now. Everything seemed much more normal. Ahh, even the boring classes seemed too inviting.

Fred push the door and walks in the classroom. He wasn't sure why he had come since Arithmancy was a subject that he didn't enjoy much. He wasn't that bad but he was very good either. As he entered he noticed that Miss Mae was there obviously. Since she was at the front of the class, he walks toward the back. Not saying anything, he put his bag on the ground and took a sit.

Camira grinned as someone she knew walked into the classroom. Finally, she thought. She gave Sarah a little wave and turned her attention back to the Professor.

She laughed at the nudge but was confused at first. "partner?" she asked blinking. Then it hit her. "Oh, he wouldn't be caught dead in this class. It's not his 'thing'." She made quotation marks in the air as she said that last word. "Even when I offered to help him. Oh well..." She shrugged.
