A bit confused about the plot? Housemates talking about a mysterious something going bump in the night? Here's where you can catch up on happenings around the Castle, Diagon Alley, and Hogsmeade -- out of character, of course.

This means that unless your student character heard this stuff from other students or witnessed the actual event, your student character doesn't know about it.

Also, this is a reminder to everyone to only post updates on the school plot here. Please do not post the happenings of your student character in here - that kind of chat goes in the school chat thread.

Upon realizing that Schmoop was being naughty and saying no to Schmoop's master, Schmoop scuttled to the wall and began to bash his head upon it. "Bad, bad Schmoop! Lord Borr is Schmoopses master!"

However, Schmoop was faced with a choice. Eyes full of tears, Schmoop turned to Lord Borr.

"Lord Borr, sir!" he squeaked in a hoarse voice. "Schmoop is House Elf of Hogwartses. For Schmoop to leave would be wrong! Would be rude! Schmoop needs be freed by Headmistress to choose new Lord! Schmoop is House Elf of Hogwartses and cannot do such a thing!"

Uh-oh! Looks like Schmoop just might get sacked!

After ~~destroying~~ redecorating the Ravenclaw Boy's Common room in dirt, mud, water, and muddy water Cale Thorton, Eddy Basilthorne, and Sho Inagaki have moved on to ~~harassing~~ petitioning Cooper School's Librarian Mario Ingles (who seemed rather happy of the company) for "a few more entertaining pieces of literature."

The Librarian's response was cryptically interesting.

What do you suppose he was hinting at?

Meanwhile, in the kitchens, Prefect Trelawney's little prank with amortentia goes haywire as her partner in crime, Desdemonda Abendroth, offers tainted cookie dough to the potions professor, Miss Melita.

Rather interesting conversations being had in Hogsmeade this weekend.

Caitlin had run into Professor Erikson and was eagar to speak with a "normal" teacher. He was interested in hearing about what the girls were learning in Herbology, and upon finding out their first lesson was the propper way to arrange flowers he wasn't too happy. The girls aren't being prepared for their OWL's or their NEWT's.

It was then Caitlin decided to express her concern over the Ministry Officials And Erikson's response was very uplifting and motivational:

The Slytherin Boys Prefect, the Gryffindor Boys Prefect, and a few other boys ~~have invaded~~ were sent to the Boys Kitchen by Lord Borr to talk to the house elves. Meanwhile, the Ravenclaw Boys Prefect was busy in the kitchen with his friend and is now sitting at a table listening to the goings on.

What could Lord Borr be coercing the boys into doing?

After the rather disasterous History of Magic lesson at Belle's, something even WEIRDER happened

When Cora-Blue Latiffa attemped to heal Professor Melita [who had been punched by Lainey], Melita began to scream that she didn't WANT to be healed. Hmmm. Prefect Trelawney promised that the Nurse would see her, in return for a very odd request...

She opened the vial and poured the contents into the butterbeer bottle... She replaced the cap on the bottle and tapped it one with her wand to reseal it. Thank Merlin for Magic!

She quickly made her way out the door locking everything and headed towards the hospital wing.

With permission from Professor Vindictus, the Ravenclaw Boys are having a celebratory painting party in honor of the Ravenclaw's Quidditch Cup win. Soon, the common room will no longer be ~~white~~ muddy-tan-white.
