Noticing the Professor begin the lesson, and heeding Cassandra's words, she gave her a malicious glare, that basically said we're not done, and turned back to face the Professor....

Daphne smiled politely at the Professor and lowered her hand. From her seat she could feel the pressure of hatred on her back and she dared not turn her head for fear of being glared at.

Someone was suffering from gas and it was making them upset.

Perhaps they should have laid off the carbs, she thought to herself and hid a smirk behind the back of her hand.

Amelia nodded at the professor when she said they would be making and trying them. Settling in comfortably, she waited for what the Professor would say next trying not to think about the girl who asked about calories in the candies.

Poor girl. She had to sympathize with her, as she was sure no one else would be doing so. It was a reasonable question though, and besides, they were all females... not like it wouldn't be asked by someone.

Amanda took out her wand as well as her ink bottle, her black feather quill and some parchment. She couldn't wait to start this lesson as Transfiguration was one of the subjects she could excel in.

"Alright, I want every one to come up here and grab a couple of danishs. We will be placing a transfiguration spell on them so that when they are bitten, the 'biter' will become an animal." Alex explained.

Allie walked up to the desk, and grabbed a danish. Then went back to her seat.

Amelia walked up to the desk and moved to grab a couple danishes as directed, but paused a moment and looked over at the professor curiously. "Er, one more question Professor Pierce... Are their pineapple ones?" she asked cautiously, knowing that if she was going to become a canary, she'd want to do so with style. Yes, a Pineapple Hufflepuff.

Reluctantly, she stood up from her chair, hands instinctively reaching behind her to dust off whatever her bottom could have acquired from sitting down. Upon reaching the desk, she quickly let her honey colored eyes run over the danishes. Picking up two, she took them over to her desk and placed them in the farthest corner of the surface.

There was no need to have them tempt her. Although their eerie voices were already torturing her.

Amanda got up and walked to the Professor's desk, she took a couple of danishes as Professor Pierce instructed the class to do. As she walked back to her seat and sat down,she thought that this is going to be quite fun and she couldn't wait to try it.

Katrina walked up to the table, and as instructed, took a couple of danishes. She half wondered whether she should try to choose a flavor or something like the Hufflepuff Captain, but decided she didn't really care. She went back to her seat next to the Slytherin first year, and quickly pulled out parchment, her quill, and a bottle of ink too, in case she needed to take notes. She couldn't wait to start!

Tomasina walked up to the desk picking a danish, not really knowing what they were. But the way that calorie girl was eying them they had to be something sweet. Calorie girl looked as if she were just itching to lick the desk that the danishes sat on. Tomasina wasn't one for sweets unless it was chocolate. That was her guilty pleasure. She went back to her desk and with her danishes in hand. She rolled her eyes at Amelie asking if there were pineapple ones. She wanted to make a comment but kept quiet. She was surprised the girl's head didn't float away into the clouds some days. Honestly asking for a flipping pineapple danish thingy. Was this forget your brain in the dung heap day or something? Amelie's question almost topped calorie girl's. Nevermind, that was one for the books that one was.

Steelsheen raised an eyebrow when Professor Pierce looked upset after reading the Ministry letter. What was that all about? she wondered.

When she saw the Professor demonstrate the effect of Canary Cream she felt her jaw drop open. Nothing quite compares to the sight of a giant canary in a school classroom. Closing her mouth quickly, she couldn't help but grin under her nose This subject is gonna be so much fun she thought.


At this, Steelsheen stood up, took a few danish pastries and returned to her seat.

Rapunzel, who'd curiously watched the professor read her mail, raised an eyebrow. This class could be another good one, especially since it involved danishes.

She strolled up the front of the room and grabbed a few danishes, holding her questions until the professor explained the spell. This could be awesome, Punz thought cheerfully. I could give my brother one of these....and then he'd be a worm....or I could make Jasmine be a cockroach or something...

She grinned and sat up in her seat, waiting for more instructions.

Usagi stood up, went to the table, took a danish, then returned to her seat. Boy, just think about putting it onto any unsuspected Slytherin...Even my fellow Gryffies. She chuckled silently at the thought of one of her friends turning to an animal.

Alycya walked up to the front and grabbed a danish. She was quite nervous. She hadn't had anything like this before. She walked back to her seat and looked back up to the front, wondering what in the world would happen next.

Anna watched in amazement as the professor demonstrated what the canary cream was used for. Anna had seen lots of magic similar to that, but she's never tried anything like that herself, of course. Truth be told, she was a little frightened of things like that.

Anna wrinkled up her face in confusion when the professor mentioned people turning into animals. Somehow, with what happened last school year, Anna wasn't too keen on doing anything that involved turning humans into animals. Nevertheless, she made her way to the front of the room, grabbed a couple of danishes, and returned to her seat.

Jezz grabbed a couple danishes and went back to her seat excited to be learning something other than ettiquette. With a big smile on her face she sat down and looked at the Professor.

OH! Food!

Who would've thought that this class was going to involve making, and eating cookies, eh? -Though Willow was not very enthusiastic about the 'making it' part, for she was used to all of her house elves back at home making all the food- She could not help but to grin with what could only be described as delight.

Yes, food made Willow happy most of the time.

So as soon as the professor was done talking, she stood up, and made her way gracefully to where all the danishes were calling for her. Grinning at the little pieces of food, as though they were able to see this, Willow grabbed a few of them, and went back to her seat.

Hehe. This class was surely going to be very interesting, for the single idea of being able to see her brother Nikola turn into an animal, made a little snicker spread across her naturally pinky lips.

Saffy went and got herself and couple of danishes, too, but she wasn't sure about wether she wanted to bite them or not.

Via who was curious about Professor Pierce's letter eagerly grabbed some danishes and returned to her seat. Staring at the danishes made her mind drift, What are we going to do with these? she thought. Via waited for further instructions.

Rhiannon stood up from her desk and went up to get a couple danishes, as Professor Pierce had asked. She was curious about the response the professor had had to the letter, mainly because she connected Pierce to Josh, but wasn't going to bother asking. Pierce didn't seem like she wanted to discuss it with them anyway.

Returning to her seat, she placed the danishes on her desk, along with her wand, and waited for them to be given more instructions. She didn't know who she would have wanted to transfigure into an animal, but this was certainly going to be a more interesting class than a few others she had attended lately.

Nikki eyed the professor. A cooking class? She thought to herself, it stucks. well at least it is transfiguration. She got her wand out and grabbed a couple of danishes and went back to her seat next to Steelsheen.
