Smiling she said, "then I should be practicing with you. I'm not the greatest at it yet." she smiled wider when he played with her hair. She liked it when he did that.

Her eyes went wide when he said that. "Wow! That's great Jose! Keep the good work up and we have a chance of winning this term." She didn't mind if they didn't come in first really, she just didn't want to come in last place again. "I have been doing the homework too, yes." Though she was still a bit behind on a few of the assignments.

Tancred wandered back down to the Broomshed. He had been down here lately, checking who all was signing up for the Hufflepuff team. The list, from the looks of it, was getting larger every time he had made a visit. That was a good thing.

Satisfied with how the sign ups were going so far, he walked away. He figured that he would be back in a couple of hours or so. Such didication, eh? He smiled at the thought. It wasn't like he was the only one monitoring the sign up sheet. He knew this was a fact, seeming he had just seen Amelia Rose.

He smiled as he snuck up behind her. Normally he'd call out her name to get her attention, but he didn't quite feel like doing that. Today was a new day, and he could never just pop out of nowhere like he did to Mia with one of the guys. No, this was only a Mia thing.

"Good evening, Miss Rose," he whispered into her ear with a cute grin spread across his face.

Sure enough, Amelia didn't have to wait long for one of her wished upon boys to enter the broomshed. Turning around as she heard the sound her name in her ear, she smiled. Tancred. Biting her lower lip cutely she hugged her clipboard and nodded to him.

"Good evening to you too, Mr Adara," she replied quietly, knowing they should keep their voices down. "I was hoping you'd come in here early before our first tryout session tonight..."

Tancred raised an eyebrow. She hoped to see him early? It must have something to do with the clipboard she was holding. Hang on! She was holding a clipboard! Since when did Captains need clipboards? ... Weird.

"Really?" Tancred replied, nearly speaking at a light whisper. "Why were you hoping to see me before the tryout session? " He continued to look at her with his brow raised. He knew that it had to do something with Quidditch, but what?

Amelia continued to smile, a certain sparkle in her green eyes that hadn't been evident for awhile now. She nodded at him, "Of course I was. I need you to post this up on the announcement board at Cooper's in the Hufflepuff common room." Glancing down at her clipboard, she removed one hand from it and picked up the envelope. "Very important information regarding tryouts. Think you can handle it?" She grinned at this last comment, knowing the mental capacities of some of the boys here...

Tancred noticed that sparkle in Mia's beautiful green eyes. He smiled at her and looked into her eyes, sure that his ocean blue eyes were just a twinkling away like they always seemed to do around her. He took the envelope she had handed over to him and put it in his robe pocket. It was probably best to open it somewhere private for just the Hufflepuff guys to see.

He rolled his eyes. Of course he could handle it. How hard coulf it be to post an announcment up on a board? It wasn't very hard at all. After all, he had had to use the board a few times in the past. This would be a piece of cake. "Sure thing," he said proudly, with a wide smile on his face. "You can count on me."

"I'll get this up right away," he said over his shoulder. "See you at tryouts!" He waved a quick good bye to the Quidditch Captian and headed on his way up to the boys' school. It had been ages since he rode on a broomstick in a full Hufflepuff Beater uniform. He couldn't wait!

Amelia couldn't help but notice the twinkle in his ocean blue eyes. They seemed to be more handsome than ever before, but perhaps that was due to the fact that they were in the broomshed - one of the best places in the world! Smiling at him, she nodded approvingly when he put the envelope into his pocket.

"Thank you Tanc," she told him, noticing the proudness in his tone. He really was something. "I know..." she murmured, more under her breath.

"I look forward to it," she waved to him as he made his way back to the boys' school, she assumed. She was half tempted to look after him just to see how far out the school was from the pitch, but decided that it wasn't worth risking the points or detention. Instead she turned away from the door and glanced around looking for equipment she might need for tryouts tonight. She just hoped the other captains hadn't planned on theirs the same time; they would have to share if they did.

Rapunzel was nearly finished clipping the tail twigs of her broom when she heard a friendly voice address her. Oh, thank Merlin it was just Mia - not another annoying boy.

She was about to respond to her cap'n when a boy did indeed walk in...and he was obviously flirting with Amelia too. Punz snorted at their silly proper talk, but she covered her giggling by coughing loudly. If anyone asked, she could blame it on the polish fumes.

Once the boy had left, Rapunzel noticed Amelia looking rather wistfully at the door. Odd. Maybe Punz could distract her.

"Hey Mia," she said quietly, snipping a tail twig. "Would you happen to know who the other quidditch captains are? I er, ran into the Slytherin one the other day....and I was hoping the other two weren't, uh, like her...." Punzel trailed off, hoping that didn't sound too suspicious.

Just as Amelia was busying herself with getting things ready for tryouts, she heard a snort. One that could obviously only belong to the one girl she had previously addressed before Tancred entered. "Something funny there, Punz?" she asked casually, eying the fourth year.

"Hmm, yes I do know who there are," she replied watching Rapunzel's facial expressions and noticing the suspicious tones. "Er Gryffindor is Alexis Chosen and Ravenclaw is..." she paused as she realized she probably shouldn't mention him - especially with the present company. "Wait, you know who Slytherin Captain is? Who is it?" She asked, quickly changing the subject.

"Funny? Hmmm?" Pretzel raised a blonde eyebrow, blinking innocently, and wondering if she should just blurt it out. "Who was Mr. McFlirty there, Mia?" she asked suddenly, letting her mouth get the best of her. Nothing unusual there....

But ah! Maybe she shouldn't have asked that, since Amelia had some information she needed. "Oh, Lexi's for Gryffindor! That's good!" She smiled and waited to hear the other one. "And the Ravenclaw.....is....?" Punz hinted, waiting to hear the answer. And she wasn't too patient either.

"Well yeah, I know the Snakes' cap'n..." she responded slowly, still trying to figure out why Mia was avoiding mention of the Claws' captain. "Hey wait!" she added loudly. "Why don't I tell you about her after you tell me about Ravenclaw one? Hmm, do we have a deal?" Sounded fair to Rapunzel.

"Hello Melinda, Chris, Barry and Jose," Jason says. "How's the broom cleaning going, girls and boys? Wild Thing doesn't want to stay still, but she stays still for me."

Maddox smiled at the thought of teaching her how to play, "I dont know if you could handle it darling." He said playfully. He wrapped some of her hair around his fingers.

"Actully no I dont." Jamie said. "How is school going for you?" Jamie asked him.

"I can take you on." she replied just as playfully. "I can be real feisty," she winked at him.

Maddox laughed, and winked back at her. "Im sure you can. And i have seen your fiestyness....left a bruise on my arm.....about the size of quarter but still..." He laughed.

Amelia had to bite her lip to keep herself being inappropriate and laughing at Rapunzel's apparent innocence. Upon hearing the fourth year's name for Tancred though, she couldn't contain herself any longer and let out a small chuckle. "You don't know..." she replied, a mysterious hint in her tone.

The seventh took the opportune moment of Rapunzel reveling in the new quidditch captains to gaze around the shed. She needed to take in the potential of eavesdroppers before given her friend too much information. Turning back to look at the blond fourth year, she realized it was just in time to hear the breaking deal being offered out.

"Hmm, tempting but I got a better idea... you tell me Slytherin captain, then I'll tell you all about McFlirty," she told her. Now that sounded more fair; gossip about a boy in exchange for one little name. "But you tell me the captain's name first."

Deciding that her broom was perfectly polished, trimmed, and in pristine shape for practice, Rapunzel clapped her hands together and faced Amelia. Nothing left to do but have a friendly chat....if only her friend weren't being so darn shifty.

The blonde placed a finger on her chin, tapping it as if she were thinking deeply. "I don't like your offer," Punz replied softly, an odd glint in her eye. "You see, Mia, I made the offer. So I'm like...calling the shots. And I don't negociate." She winked at her friend, hoping she really didn't sound too ridiculous.

Then again, Rapunzel did want to know all about McFlirty boy...but she wanted to know about the Ravenclaw captain too...and surely Amelia was dodging her questions regarding the mystery captain....

"Okay here: You go first, and you can choose to either tell me about the one cap'n I don't know, or you can tell me everything you know about McFlirty." Which Punzel was assuming Mia knew quite a bit. "And then I'll reveal the Slytherin Captain."

She grinned crookedly. "Deal or no deal, Amelia Rose?"

"OMG! Are you serious?" she said breaking out into laughter. "I left a bruise on you? I guess I mist be tougher than I thought." She couldn't stop laughing.

Jason goes out and gets a broom from the broomshed. "Okay Jamie, this is for you. Remember when we flew at the castle? Take this broom with you and when you have a chance you should practice but for right now we'll clean it. Now you need to name it as you know my broom is named Wild Thing. I named it as the broom acts, or was it after me? Oh no, sorry it's a girl's name." Jason teases Jamie. "Is it you? Unfortunately, I named it before I knew you."

"Jamie, I think you should name your broom after whomever you choose to name it after. I really would like you to do some flying. Trust me on this one. If I could help you I would. So what are you going to call your broom? And then we could clean the brooms together."

Walking into the broom shed, leaving the door open for Savannah Alexis leaned her broom against the wall and looked for where the trunk was to put the quaffle. "Where is that thing...." She said slowly looking around spotting it in a corner she opened it and carefully put the quaffle inside. "So what did you think? Did you have fun watching all by your self?" Alexis asked Savannah with a smile.

Strolling in after Alexis, Savannah left the door alone, since it had partly closed on its own. Her nearly inaudible humming stopped, at the Gryffindor's question. She returned the smile, "It was interesting! You have a number of promising choices, which is always good" She nodded, brushing a lose strand that hadn't made it into her ponytail, away and continued. "And yes, it was fun. Plus I finished one of my assignments, even better."

Alexis raised an eyebrow at Savannah. "Promising? What's with you and big words anyways? Can you just say...good..like normal people?" Alexis teased trying to move the trunk out of the corner. It wasn't suppose to be there anyways, it blended in too much with the walls and would make it difficult for other people to see it.

"Really? Well...you're not suppose to be doing assignments while watching Quidditch. It's one of the new rules at Belle's you wouldn't want to break it would you? Don't do it next time." Alexis said rubbing her eyes. She was kind of tired. "There are other new rules that got put up today as well. No picking your nose. No wearing shoes to big for you. No bumping into walls; they don't want you to damage the walls. And sneezing isn't aloud either, if you sneeze you spend a week in a dungeon." Alexis said smiling. She wondered if Vannah would believe any of this.

Watching the girl trying to drag the trunk out of its place, Savannah giggled at the comment, but rather than answering it she pointed something else out, "By you putting that..in the middle, taking it from out of the way, someone will trip over it." Smartly, poking her tongue out.

An eyebrow raised, Vannah eyed Lexis, arms crossing comfortably over her chest. New rules, that she, a prefect, hadn't heard of. Uhuh. No doing homework during watching your best friends quidditch tryouts. Right. "Oh, of course I can understand that! Picking your nose is digusting, we're all over the ages of ten anyways, it should be so. Sneezing spreads germs, so it's understandable too," She said, her fake goody-two-shoes tone making it obviously she was joking right along with Lex. She cleared her throat, talking normally when she went on. "But no bumping into walls? What if its an accident? I haven't seen any students that weight enough to do that! It's hardly fair." Savannah mused, "Lexi, got any bubble wrap? I'm gonna need it."

Still trying to pull the heavy trunk Alexis hoped that the bludgers wouldn't start moving around. Listening to Savannah the Gryffindor thought for a moment. "Nahh....only someone like...you would trip over it." Alexis said still trying to pull it. Why was the thing so heavy anyways?

"Like you haven't picked your nose in the last 5 years." Alexis said with a small laugh. "And sneezing is a fun thing to do! It's fun to spreed germs!" Alexis shook her head and shrugged. "Sorry Vannah rules are rules. Plus bubble wrap isn't aloud, Belle doesn't like the popping noise. I would have us flown out on Reptar...except...another new rule says that any Hippogriffs around will get a giant pumpkin thrown at them." Trying to hod back a laugh Alexis went back to the trunk.

Melinda stopped by the broomshed, she had forgotten her necklace box that had fallen out of her bag. Hope no one finds it... She thought. Inside, she saw the Gryffindor Captain, Alexis and Savannah, a girl she had seen around at classes. She waved her hand to both and started to look around the broomshed, about where she had sat besides Chris to polish her broom. Below the bench, really below, was the box, she quickly hid it and stood up from the floor.
