Caleum turned as he heard a sweet voice behind him and another one followed as well. There she was, of all places, the Broomshed. "Fancy seeing you here as well," he flirted back, learning a few of her tricks and throwing them back at her. He then turned his attention towards the other female voice, smiled and greeted her with a gentle handshake.

"Nice to meet you, Callie. I'm Caleum Myers, Assistant D.A.D.A. to Headmistress Rae for Cooper." He looked around once more. "I came here to find my Hufflepuff boys to let them know about the mini party for them in the common room, but instead I found...you!" His smiled widened slightly towards Sophie.

Sophie felt as though she was back in Hogwarts being a naughty little student, seeking off to see boys. She held back a laugh when Callie saw Caleum. At least Callie knew now. She had someone to gossip with now. Sophie just smiled at Callie as she introduced herself.


Wow! Was that flirting coming from Caleum? Sophie did her famous hair flick as they introduced each other. "That is quite a coincidence. I came to congratulate the students on their win. What a shame they are not here." Sophie grinned- clearly not disappointed.

Callie happily took Caleum's hand gently returned his handshake. "Assistant D.A.D.A to Headmistress Rae? Really? That sounds like a very important position. It's very nice to meet you Caleum." Callie grinned as she slyly gave Sophie a nod of approval.

"Yes, well Sophie and I had met up in the stands and we decided to come down and see if any of the players were in here to congratulate them. We had no idea you'd be here either. We're going to head back to Sophie's hut after this I'd invite you to join us, but these stupid Ministry rules. . ." Callie grumbled. She was enjoying the opportunity to play matchmaker and was determined to get these two together. "Perhaps another day? Maybe we could get a drink in Hogsmeade?" Callie smiled.

Oh! Another flick of the hair and another golden star for me, Caleum slyly watched Sophie with another devilish grin. "Yes, yes! What a shame," he said without a hint of disapproval anywhere in the sound of his voice. Clearly he was rather excited to find that Sophie, along with Callie made their way down to the broomshed. Oh! Secret meetings? He raised an eyebrow to this new thought in his head.

And then the frown came across his face as he was clearly invited back to Sophie's hut but plainly couldn't go. "Yes! Very stupid ministry rules." His eyes flashed up to Sophie, then to Callie. Up until he met Sophie, the rules didn't bother him as much but with so little time in Hogsmeade now, they barely had time to talk, especially when students were misbehaving.

"You know, that sounds like a plan, Callie. Next Hogsmeade day, let's get together and go somewhere were none of us are disturbed. Sophie and I had a tough time with that last weekend." His smile returned once more as now he wished he could go back with them. There had to be a way...something. Oh! Let's not think about breaking the rules, he thought once more.

"Before I give you the, ahem, item that you need to post, I should tell you how to work it," Vindictus said and pulled out four large envelopes. "Hopefully, this will trick any of those nosy Ministry witches. So you'll post this, um, item in a prominent location on your bulletin board. To see what it really says, all you have to do is tap it once with your finger or wand."

"Interesting... and is there any specific way I should let my fellow students know? They wouldn't necessarily know to do so, after all...." Desdemonda raised an eyebrow, eyeing the envelopes in Vindictus's hand.

"Just tell them to, um, touch it but no ripping it off the wall and framing it, okay?" he grinned and used his wand to enchant one envelope (it raced out of the Broomshed after Rhiannon). Then he handed the remaining three envelopes to the female captains. "Get 'em up soon and don't forget the cookies." He winked and nudged the old equipment trunk. "Now if you ladies will excuse me, I need to place this old relic in the Spare Locker Room."

Amelia listened as the Quidditch Official explained about the envelope he was about to give her. Eek! Now she was itching with more anticipation! Especially when he mentioned the tricking of the ministry witches part, which she knew from there that it couldn't be good. Not at all.

The moment Max handed her one of the three envelopes, after enchanting one to fly out of the shed - presumably after the Ravenclaw Prefect who had just left, she tapped it once with her finger to reveal its contents. Her eyes opened wide in shock at what this was about! Finally, something decent!

Hardly hearing the comment about the cookies, she simply nodded as she shoved the note back back into the envelope, giddy with excitement. "Right away M- Professor!" she said happily. "Ciao!"

Winking, she nodded respectfully towards her fellow female captains and dashed out of the shed towards Belle's. There was something very urgent she needed to tell her housemates...

Accepting the envelope from Professor Vindictus, Alexis eyed him for a second. Tap it to see what it really says? This was like.... some sort of top secert mission! Where Prof V was the leader and he gave all the orders while they did the work. It reminded her of the spy missions her brother used to talk a lot when they were younger...NO it reminded her of the old old old muggle movie Charlie's Angels!

Saluting the the Professor in a joking manner Alexis smiled. "We won't let you down sir." She said then followed Mia out of the Broomshed.

Once he had calmed down a bit, Ryan made his way to the Broomshed. He wouldn't need it for a day or two, and he needed to polish the trusty thing. It had served him well in the match against Slytherin. Plus, he was kind of hoping a certain someone would get his telepathy signals and come across him entering the broomshed, so he walked as slowly as possible.

Still lollygagging away from the stands, Rapunzel decided that perhaps a detour would be smart. Yessssss......she was already feeling a bit of separation anxiety from Neyoyo, her dear Nimbus.

And besides that, there was always the chance that a Muffin Man or Eagle Boy would also happen to be in the broomshed at the same time....and with that thought, Punzel pushed open the rickety door to the shed and stepped inside from the snow.

Ryan heard the door creak and expected to see Rhiannon or one of his other teammates, or a Slytherin player, or even one of his fellow captains, but instead he saw none other than his kind-of-maybe-he-had-no-clue-what-was-going-on-possibly-ex girlfriend. The broom servicing kit he was carrying back over to his broom fell out of his hand and landed with a smack hard on the cold ground.

"Uhhhhh.....hey.....there.....Rapunzel." So this was awkward. "How are you?"

He jammed his hands into his pocket, looked at his feet, and rocked back and forth on his heels. "I saw your match. You were flying really well. Better than I've seen you fly in a while." He had no idea how he felt about her right now, but he had butterflies in his stomach all over again, just like the day with the brownies.

Rapunzel's green eyes were scanning the broomshed, searching for her trusty Nimbus, which was supposed to be in the un-cobbwebbiest corner, when she spotted HIM.

"Ryan....." she said softly, blinking at him as she stood in the threshold. What a.....confusing....surprise. Perhaps he was psychic? How else could one explain this chance meeting?

"Oh thank you," Punz replied, a light blush spreading across her cold face. Now her cheeks probably matched her frostbitten nose - and Rapunzel never blushed.

Except around him.

"Congratulations to you, too," she added, smiling slyly. "Your captaining was just superb. And where did you get that seeker?" Punz laughed a little. "I haven't seen anything so ferocious since....er...since we played against each other."

She shook her head. Those were the days....before the fights...and arguing....but she was past all that, wasn't she?

Ryan couldn't help it. He just had to. He responded with, "Yeah, who else?" But in order to take away from the sarcastic, biting tone he had often had around her as of late, he supplemented his comment with a wry grin and warm eyes. Hopefully the warmth from his eyes would cause her icy heart to just melt. And it looked like her cute little nose could use some warming up too.

And no matter how hard she tried to hide it, Ryan caught the slight blush. He would have confused it with just being in the cold for a while, but he had taken note earlier that her cheeks weren't that rosy.

"And a deep, heart-felt thank you to you too," Ryan said, smiling. He certainly wasn't mad at her, that was for sure. He couldn't help but smile at her standing there. He had graduated from looking at his feet to at least looking at her. He was sort of kicking at the ground, though. "It really means a lot to me."

AHA! So she wanted to know about his seeker! Well, he wouldn't reveal anything except that she would be around for a LONG, LONG time. "I got lucky. I just happened to stumble upon her last term when she was on reserve. Tag needed her to play seeker one match last term, and she REALLY stepped it up. Ever since, I've kept an eye on her. She's got a real knack for the game, that girl. And thank Merlin she's going to be around for a while." That was it. He didn't want Amelia knowing anything else.

"Wait a second. How did you know I was captain?! Did you know before the match?" Oops. He had forgotten to tell her. He hoped she wasn't too mad at him. He couldn't stand another fight.

"Er, well, you'd better prepare yourself. Looks like we'll be squaring off once again in the ships, only this time, we're both chasing. My beaters will be gunning for you, girly," he warned. And smirked.

"Huh?" Punz replied simply, scratching her blonde head as she did so. Actually, she was scratching that blue-and-gold knit hat she's charmed before the match....which reminded her....

"Oh, do you like my hat?" she said suddenly, a grin breaking out across her face as she removed the hat and held it out to him. "It's blue for Ravenclaw support, see, and gold for Hufflepuff awesomeness. I wore it all day in the stands today," Punz added unnecessarily. Heck, her hair was probably all static-y from hat head, that much was obvious.

"You're welcome," Rapunzel replied, positively glowing. They were getting along so nicely...and he was looking so cute and bashful right there....she couldn't resist hugging him. It was like an automatic reaction, the way she floated across the broomshed and suddenly found her arms wrapped around his tall frame.

And then she realized what she'd done and how that one movement had probably made their relationship all the more awkward.

"Oh, sorry, I'm so sorry," Rapunzel muttered, breaking herself away from the hug. She took a big step back and looked down at the ground. Dang it, Punzie, have some patience! But he had been soooo warm....

"Er, yeah, she's a real catch," she replied slowly, still looking down. "And real fast too." But not as fast as Razzle-Dazzle Curt....

Ooh snap, he WAS hiding it from me! Rapunzel thought, as a momentary flash of anger brought her eyes to his. "Eh, don't worry about it," Punz replied cooly. She just wouldn't tell him how or when she'd found out. "The important thing is that you won your first match at least! Too bad we won't be able to say the same about your second."

She grinned again, feeling better with the teasing. "Ooh, two beater girls. Real scary," Rapunzel winked. "Actually, I take that back...the Willow one is terrifying...."

"Wha? Oh, nothing. Nevermind." Ryan shrugged. He didn't even know what the heck me meant by half the things he said anyway.

Hat. Yeah. Okay. Ryan was hardly looking at her hat. He was just too intoxicated by her mere presence. "Yeah. I love it," Ryan said, sounding more distracted than he had meant. Plus, she had gotten a haircut, and Ryan was mesmerized by how good it looked. He was a fan of her long, flowing, billowing hair, but this. This was even more beautiful.

"Your.....your hair," he mumbled.

But before he could say anything else, he was cut short by a hug. A wonderful, perfect, hug that he had REALLY been missing. It was just what he had been needing. Unfortunately, Rapunzel became embarrassed and backed away. What? Why? What was she doing?! No! He wanted another hug! He wanted to hug her back! GRR.

He didn't even listen to the rest of what she was saying. It didn't matter anymore. He wanted that hug back. NOW.

"What? No. Don't worry about it," he said smiling, and walking toward her.

Now how was he going to maneuver this one? Now that everything was sufficiently awkward....hmmm. This was going to take a bit of thought. The only thing his stupid brain could come up with right now was that she looked cold, and he just popped out before he could stop himself.

"You, er....look cold. You want my winter robes? I'm still really warm from all that quidditch action. I've got an extra set, anyway."

Rapunzel's smile was slowly fading as Ryan seemed to be getting a bit...weird. Or at least weirder than usual. There just seemed to be some kind of glaze over his eyes. He was blatantly staring at her.

That couldn't be good, could it?

"My hair? Oh yeah, I got it cut a while ago...." she said slowly, blinking at him as she twirled a strand around her finger as she tried to figure him out. Did she do something wrong? Yes, it had to have been the hug. Bad Punzie, no more hugs for you.

Then he started walking towards her and she got her hopes up again. Perhaps the hug was a good hug, after all?

And then he stopped. Merlin's mother! Just make up your mind! Rapunzel thought, getting more and more confused by the minute.

"Oh yes, um, I am cold actually," she replied carefully. But a hug is a good way to warm me up.... "Your robes?" Punzel said before she could stop herself. "Sure I'll take the-- I mean, what are you going to wear?" Brow raised, she waited for an answer before coming closer.

She had to double-check. What if another Manly Shirt Incident occurred, eh? Hopefully, he didn't have a problem with wanting to shed clothing randomly.....in the middle of the street....or a broomshed....no, this wasn't a trend. Not at all....

"It looks good," he said, smiling. Normally, he would have been really self-conscious about what a creeper he looked like, but he was too wrapped up in the moment. He was determined to get that hug going again. It was a win-win. He got a hug, she got warm.

YES! She was cold. WIN! This was the perfect opportunity to win her back with his Casanova-esque style. "Don't worry about it," he said, already starting to take off his winter robes, under which he was burning up. "Like I said, I'm still warm from my match, and I have an extra set," just for times like these.

Once he had untangled himself from the fuzzy trap, which seemed to take forever, he held out his robes for her. A gentleman always offers his coat to a woman, and always helps her into it. A gentleman he was.

Oooh, there he went. Off with the clothes again. Although, luckily, he did have normal, real clothes on underneath. What a relief.

"Thank you," Rapunzel replied, beaming at both his compliment and his robe offer. She took a step closer and turned, stepping into them....more like swimming in them. The blue robes were about six inches too long for her 5'5'' frame, but hey, they were warm. She huggled the material closer and breathed in, enjoying Ryan's musky boy-scent. Clara Belle's school really was a torture chamber, she realized suddenly. Plain and simple punishment.

This was his opportunity. The perfect chance. She took the robes, which was exactly Ryan's plan. Peeerrrrfecttt. He smiled to himself as Rapunzel slipped her arms into the sleeves. He was impatient, and she seemed to be taking forever. This had to be timed perfectly or else it wouldn't work, but Ryan could hardly wait.

FINALLY! She was done! And she was...smelling it? Ryan would have normally been confused (he had no idea he smelled so lovely) but he had his eye on the prize - the hug.

While she was distracted with his masculine scent, he slowly wrapped his arms around her from behind in a hug. Not a hug between friends, but the kind of hug when a guy sneaks up behind his girlfriend and really shows her what she means to him. It was perfect in every aspect. It was beautiful, and Ryan couldn't have been happier. If only it could last forever.

Still trying to find the end of the her right sleeve, Rapunzel was completely surprised when Ryan....er...glomped her from behind. It was a good surprise though, not at like his flying ninja tackle in Diagon Alley.

She closed her eyes for a moment and enjoyed the hug. Things almost seemed to be back to normal....no, better than normal. But she had yet to seal the deal.

Finally finding the end of her sleeve, Rapunzel turned a little in the hug and stood on her tippy-toes to reach Ryan's cheek, where she slowly gave him a little peck - as if claiming ownership of her boyfriend and Eagle Boy.

Ryan was relishing in the mere fact that they were sharing such an intimate moment, but the fact that she turned around just enough to kiss his cheek warmed his soul. He did not need those robes at all. All he needed was Rapunzel.

While still holding her close, he turned her around in his arms and stooped down just enough to plant a kiss on her forehead. He allowed the kiss to hover there for a while until he pulled her back into a tight hug.

Unfortunately, this moment could not last forever. Lest Wystan decide to head down to the broomshed again. Ryan was scared of that woman and wanted no contact with her whatsoever. Besides, there was always Hogsmeade.

He pulled Rapunzel away from his body and looked her right in the eyes. "I'm glad we had this time, but we really should be heading back to our respective schools," he said, a slight twinge of sadness in his voice.

So he hadn't polished his broom. Oh well. This was exponentially better, anyway.

This moment in time could not get much better, as far as Rapunzel was concerned. No one was around and it was just her and her boy man.

Then he kissed her, right on the forehead. Punzel got a warm little tingly feeling from her head to her toes - a weird, different feeling but something that seemed so right.

Alas, even the best of times must come to close...and what better way to end than on a note like this? "You're right, of course," Rapunzel said quietly, never taking her eyes off of his. "Maybe we'll have another Hogsmeade weekend soon..."

After all, that was where she'd met him in the first place....

He didn't want to leave. But as perfect as this moment was, and as much as he wanted to stay, Ryan knew he had to leave and go back to Cooper's sooner or later. He supposed sooner would probably be better. However, now that they had made amends, every time Ryan thought or uttered Cooper's name, it would be dripping with venom and discontent.

So, against his will, he turned around and left the broomshed, his eyes staring at Rapunzel apologetically the whole time.

Rapunzel sighed rather dramatically as Ryan left. She waved a little, waiting until he was out of eyesight before she went to check on her broom. He might be able to get away with loitering in the shed, but she was no Quidditch captain and needed a legit excuse.

Plus, Vindy scared her. A lot.

With that in mind, Punzel darted to the corner and found her dear Nimbus, Neyoyo, with a few cobwebs on the handle. Oh dear, she thought, carefully using the extra few inches of her sleeve to wipe the webs off. There, he looked so much better now...but it was too cold and too late to finish polishing him. She'd just have to come back before THEEE next match.

Sighing slightly, Punzel tucked her broom back into the corner and turned to head back to Belle's School. She carefully held her borrowed robes up so they wouldn't get snowy and marched out the door, feeling much, much better than when she'd snuck in that same door just a few minutes ago.
