St. Toussaint's eyes widened momentarily startled, but wanting to appear co-operative, she put her wand away. "I tried to, Headmistress! I did! I tried to!" H'mm...was she convincing yet? "But, that little...Prefect just woudn't co-operate."

Jezz turned toward a girl that she recognized. "I wouldn't go in there if I were you. Could be dangerous." She meant it, she was slightly worried.

"What?" She turned to the Headmistress. "I did nothing, I was- I assure you Headmistress, I am not at fault and Professor Pierce needs the Nurse. Please..."

"Dont believe her Profesor Rae." Alex spoke up loudly, "That maniac dumped a fowl smelling potion on Trelawney and stung her with billywigs during her detention, the girl was a wreck when she got to my office. And her detention was for 'poisoning a professor', all she did was give her tea, she didnt know that said professor was allergic to it! And whats more, she attacked me while my back was turned."

Amelia blinked as the Ravenclaw commented to her about it being dangerous. That never stopped her before. "Dangerous?" she whispered, raising a brow. "I don't mind danger." She played quidditch afterall...

Jezz smiled slightly. "Danger can be fun." She thought of all of her escapades in the last few years. "But the Professors were cursing each other. I was nervous about going in and getting involved. What brings you over here anyway?"

Amelia sighed as her eyes darted from the Ravenclaw and back to the office. Cursing each other? And that's why Miss Show Off was getting the Headmistress? The seventh year nodded about being nervous; she wasn't though. Although she did wonder which professors were involved; hoping for Wystan.

Then the girl asked her something. Why was she over here? "I uh... good question," she replied, biting her lip thoughtfully. "Miss Sh- Slytherin Prefect was involved, so I thought it might be interesting? What about you? Why did you decide to get involved?"

Cassandra saw Higby and that moron Rose at the door. "Ladies, make yourselves useful and go get Nurse Numel from the waiting room." She was a lot more pleasant than she would have been had Rae not been there.

"Me and Cassandra go way back." Jezz said, with a mean glint in her eye. "So I wanted to know what was happening. " Speak of the devil. She thought as Cassandra came out. "Yes. I think we will go get her." Jezz said with a huff. She stomped straight past Mia toward the Nurse.

Amelia gasped as she heard her voice; talking to her like she was subservient! "I.." she was about to argue when she realized that considering their respective houses and the house favoritism by some professors, she stopped herself. "As you wish," she replied, giving a glare towards the prefect before following Jezz toward the nurse.

As you wish... yeah... she better As you wish... Cassandra looked at her Head of House and then to the headmistress. "Professor St. Toussaint wanted Professor Pierce to strip me of my Prefect's badge... She thinks I'm after her Job once I graduate!" Sure... it was a good plan, and she was sad she hadn't thought of it. But she HADN'T which was the point here.

"I believe there is an unfortunately large number of professors at my school, and if you don't have a great reason for attacking a student and a professor, you can leave my school without taking time to pack."

Terpsichore drew in a breath and tried to explain, but a rush of coldness hit her tongue and it curled back inside her mouth.

It took all but the last of St. Toussaints strength to hide her feelings of disgrace and hot-blooded anger. She was the victim here, afterall, but because of that ridiculous excuse for a Prefect, she could not speak her piece.

"I'll be on my way, then, Headmistress Rae.", was all her teensy voice uttered as she headed for the door.

On her way out, Professor St. Toussaints' eyes narrowed at the Slytherin Prefect, her fist balled tightly around the circumference of her wand. She would not be forgetting this incident. Ever.

And, with that, she exited Professor Pierce's office.

Ariana headed straight to the office and narrowly managed to avoid running into the divinations professor. She raised an eyebrow and looked at the door before pushing it open with her hand and looking around the side. "Excuse me?" She didn't want to interrupt anything especially since she had been led to believe the emergency was urgent. Ari noticed Cassandra and ....Cassandra as well were both in the room.

A wieght lifted off Alex's shoulders, she wouldnt have to worry about that particular woman harming her the students.
Alex's head turned towards the door, "Ari?" she said questioningly, "I need help. That woman hit me straight in the eyes with the Conjunctivus curse and I cant see anything now. What happens when your hit dead on in the eyes with that spell? The burn has subsided a bit, but it still stings like crazy." There was a slight tremor of fear in Alex's voice as she spoke, the unspoken question evident on her face.

"Nurse Numel," Cassandra called, "Professor Pierce was hit by a conjunctivitis curse cast by Professor St. Toussaint. Please help her..." she said. Now she needed to go find her wand... Cassandra wasn't going to go back to the detention center, and she certainly wasn't going to the Divination Professor's office...

"Alex!" Ari headed towards the woman and hugged her. She pulled away and looked at the eyes. "Don't worry hun, you'll be taken care of in no time."

She gave Cassandra a smile. "I'll do my best, don't worry." Ari patted the girl's shoulder before digging around in her bag for an antidote. "Here we go!" Ariana soaked a cloth in the vial and held it over Alex eyes dabbing around the sides.

Amelia followed the Nurse straight back to where she had come from moments before. Slipping into the office behind the nurse, she leaned against the wall and watched, figuring it was best to stand aside and observe the situation.

"Thank you dear." Alex said giving the Ari's arm a squeeze. She felt a cloth soaked with liquid being dabbed around her eyes and slowly the sting went away. Even slower, things began to get lighter, "I can sort of see shapes now, but everything is still to blurry to make out. Will that come back?"

"Of course. It just needs a few more minutes." Ariana poured a little bit more of the potion on the cloth and continued the dabbing around her eyes. "How did it happen Alex? I mean I know she cursed you and that it was conjunctivitis....but, why?"

As her vision came back, Alex's jaw tightened, "She attacked me because I was protecting a student from her. She attacked me while my back was turned and when I turned ot look at her, it hit me."

Alex blinked a few more times, "Thanks Ari, I owe you one. I'm almost back to normal, just a little fuzzy."

Cassandra looked at the headmistress apologetically. She hadn't meant to get anyone sacked but St. Toussaint went too far and she understood the Headmistress' decision.

Jezz stood quietly off in the corner. She didn't like this whole Belles/Coopers thing at all anymore. She missed the teachers she knew and the new ones were insane. Her hands were shaking. She thought of the ministers reaction to all this. Oh.. the minister! "Mia." She whispered loudly. "Whats the Minister gonna do when he hears about all of this? I mean he's not the brightest crayon in the box.." What if for some reason he blamed Professor Pierce or something? This could be ugly.

"No worries, Cassandra. You should all expect to still be safe here, and I'll remove anyone who cannot abide by those rules," she moved to the door. "Alex, you are in Ari's care. Listen to her, and I trust you'll come see me if you need further medical help. I'm going to go lock up the Divination tower."

Amelia blinked back to the present as she heard someone whisper her name. Looking to her left, she saw Jezz was back in the office and standing quietly in the corner. She shrugged at the question; how should she know what was on the Minister's delusional mind? "I think you said it all right there, Jezz," she whispered back. "Not the brightest crayon in the box. Don't you think the headmistress could handle him?" She nodded and then straightened up as the Headmistress brushed passed them to go lock up the Divinations tower. Weird... the position isn't jinxed since Blaylock's death, is it?
