Ella stopped right in front of Professor Alex's Office. She was thinking to meet her in person for a good reason. Now the time had come. She gently knocked the door without disturbing her, whatever she was doing inside.

Krysta sighed deeply and shook her head. She thought about continuing her argument, but she could see this was going nowhere. She missed her Mother. Her Mother always seemed to know what to say to people. There was no way Professor Pierce was going to believe her and she couldn't even change into the panther to prove it to her.

"Never mind. See you in class, Professor." she said, feeling helpless. She'd have to find someone else who would listen to her. But who?

Sabrina went and knocked on the Professor's door wondering if she could talk to her about the lesson she had had earlier. It was really good, and the Professor seemed really nice.

"Come on in." Alex called towards the door.

Sabrina heard Professor Pierce and walked inside slowly. "Hello Professor I just wanted to say I really enjoyed the lesson the other day. It was really fun turning into other animals."

Alex smiled, "I'm glad you enjoyed it dear. Is there anything I can do for you?"

"This is going to sound like a very weird question, but how do you become an Animagus? I know that I am too young at the moment, but I was wondering about when I was older." Sabrina's hair accidently turned a blue she was so nervous about asking the question, but she automatically changed it back to brown, not wanting to get into trouble.

Alex smiled again, "I dont give that information out dear, just incase someone descided to try it themselves, which can be very dangerous. I do Anamagus training for 7th years and the occasional 6th year."

"That's understandable. I'll wait until my seventh year then," Sabrina said remembering in the lesson when Amanda hadn't said what animal she wanted to be and ended up as two different ones. "Is there anything I could help you with Professor?" she asked. She had nothing to do, and no one was in the common room.

"Not that I can think of dear. Though if I think of something I will be sure to let you know." Alex replied

"Okay Professor," Sabrina said smiling. She decided to go and take a walk instead, "I'll see you later then Professor Pierce. Thank you for answering my question for me." Her mind was up, Professor Pierce was one of the nicest teachers in Miss Belle's school.

Kayla made her way to Professor Pierce's office and stood outside her door for a moment and then knocked quietly on the door. She took a step back and waited for the Professor to answer.

Alex looked up, hoping this wasnt another Animagus question or issue. "Come on in." she called out as she rearranged some papers on her desk and threw the Minister's picture another dirty look.

After waiting for a long time, Ella got tired as she didnt get the permission from the Professor. But she wanted to show her gratitude. So she picked out the parchment and put the spell on it, slipped it through the door. It would turn to a flower bouquet by the time the Professor pick the parchment. She smiled and walked away.

Kayla walked into the Professor's officer and gave her a smile. "Hello Professor, I do hope I am not interrupting anything important" she said as she stood by the Professor's desk, as she had not been asked to sit and thought it would be rude to do so.

"No, of course not dear, have a seat." Alex said gesturing to the chair across from her.

Steelsheen went straight from the Great Hall back to Professor Pierce's office as fast as her special shoes can take her. Coming to a full stop, she straightened her hair and robes and knocked on the door.

Alex looked away from Kayla as there was a knock on the door, "Come on in." she called.

"Thank you Professor" Kayla said as she sat down in the chair and looked across to the Professor. "I just wanted to say that I enjoyed your class very much and you've probably had a thousand questions already on the subject but I was wondering if I could pick your brain just a little more?"

Hearing the Professor calling her to come in, Steelsheen entered the room and closed the door quietly behind her. “Greetings Professor Pierce” she smiled. She glanced at a familiar blonde and gave a small wave “Hey there Kayla”. Turning her attention back to the Transfigurations teacher she began “Don’t mean to take up a lot of your time Ma’am, but I’ve just been to the Great Hall to finish up on some homework, and uhm…” she hesitated. How does she say this? As glorious and virtuous a transformation as it was, her Head of House did pretty much defy the Ministry, and Steelsheen is painfully aware that such information getting out will surely risk the Professor’s future in this finishing school teaching institution.

She cleared her throat and continued “I just wanted to bring you the news that the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff tables look rather splendid now. The tables and chairs are smooth and cushioned and the dinnerwares are exquisite. The students of both houses are very happy about this and very thankful.” she said with an emphasis on the last word, hoping her Head of House would understand the message. “Yes, well…” she said as she fumbled with the hem of her blouse “… that’s all I wanted to say Professor.” she said as she inched her way towards the door.

"Of course, what questions do you have? Thats what I'm here for." Alex responded witha grin.
"Really?" Alex said mildly, "Well I'm very glad someone saw fit to make the preverbial playing ground equal for all students. I'm sure the person responsible would be very glad to hear how thankful they are, an I imagine she'd be very welcome." she finished with a glint in her eye.

Steelsheen smiled, trying to control herself from bursting out laughing. The things we have to do to communicate around here she mused. "Yes Professor, I agree with you there." she said nodding her head. "Well that was all I wanted to say Ma'am. Thank you for your time and I wish you a pleasant day." she said as she bowed her head in respect and exited the office.

"Okay so first question, when we cast the spell can we make the effects last longer than just a few minutes and if so how would one be able to do that?" Kayla asked taking out her notebook and quill.

"I think a strengthening charm would work. After you cast the initial spell, put the strengthening charm on it. Though I wouldnt experiment without supervision, in case something goes wrong. I dont think you should try it dear." Alex said with a shake of her head.

"Well of course Professor...not without supervision" Kayla added quickly. "I noticed that when I had changed into an animal that I still had a certain sense of myself there but the animals qualities were stronger. Is there a way to take the form of the animal but still have complete control of myself?"
