Amanda took out a quill, an ink bottle and some parchment and started writing the stuff down.

Crystal was devestated with the fact the they were having a lesson on the minister. She was really looking forward to class untill it had started

Nikita slowly pulled out a piece of parchment, quill, and ink. Maybe, if she moved slow enough, this class would be over before she could write down one stinking fact about the Minister. How could this prepare them for anything in the world?

Despite her slow movements, Nikita soon found herself writing down the repulsive facts about Minister Cooper. The only comfort was that no one else, especially Professor Lainey, looked happy about this situation. First there were etiquette lessons instead of Defense Against the Dark Arts, and now this? Nikita couldn't figure out what was happening at Hogwarts Belle's.

"Alec and Cassandra Rae." Desdemonda said bitterly.

"Very," Issy quietly agreed with Serena as she placed her parchment over her textbook to take notes. It helped to have a hard surface for her.

Dipping her quill into the lavender ink she used for note taking, she took down the few notes they'd had thus far, sighing. Minister Cooper. Was power so corruptive that he was utterly stuck upon himself? Just because one was the Minister made him no greater than others. What kind of contributions to the history of magic had he made, besides the grand and foolish decision to destroy and seperate Hogwarts as it was?

As these thoughts wavered through her mind, Issy found herself doodling a devil in a toga.

Urgh... toga... ick.

Ari couldn't help but shudder as she thought of the Minister. He only thing she knew of him was he looked horrid in a toga. Great just what she needed, another nasty thought creeping through her mind. She poked his name on her parchment light blue ink splattering across his name. "Hahaha." she muttered, grinning oddly at the look of it. Sighing she looked up, determined not to fall asleep.

Dipping her quill back into her light blue ink she looked up, an ever present frown creasing her face as she waited for the bombshell. Oh, she knew something was coming.

"Mmmmm," Lainey gave a dreamy sigh. "Yes. Well done. 5 points to Slytherin." Lainey was a melted little puddle of lovey dovey goo for a moment.

"Hey now! You watch it, Miss Daphne. Those two are the only good part of this lesson."


"So... where were we. What intriguing fact is next?" Lainey laughed out loud as she wrote it.

Lainey stared at the last fact. Really stared at it. "Merlin's butt this is boring." She was going for the sigh record as she sighed once more. "So... everyone get that last fact? Is anyone still awake?"

She couldn't take it anymore. The students were going to start a mutiny... Lainey got up and went to the door, her head stretched out to check up and down the hall. They were so about to bust out of the classroom.

Well, this was for 'sure' going to be a very, very 'interesting' lesson, inspite it all, Kaika took her quill and a piece of parchment to start writing these random facts on it. She didn't answer though, but decided to stay in class, she guessed that at least the previous professor needed the students for some sort of support? or whatever.

"Good, he was born selfish, then" she said in a lower tone, to the fact that his favorite memory took place before his siblings were born.

Blinking, Issy rose onto her knees. At her small stature, it was nearly impossible to see above everyone. "Professor?" she tentativly called to the half of her Head of House still in the room. Laying her quill on her parchment, she pushed herself up into standing position.

"Are we going somewhere?" she asked. "Or are you staking out? Do we have Minister Cooper coming to see us?" The squeak that reached her last words was not joyous, but horrorfilled.

Kaytee wondered what the professor was doing when she leaned out of the classroom. She looked at Lola and whispered, "What do you think is going on?"

"Yes, Ma'am. Sorry Ma'am."

Honestly, couldn't the Headmistress legally break all ties from the Minister. Who wanted to admit he was part of anyone's family? One elbow resting on her knee as she leaned forward to write some more details she'd probably forget in ten minutes due to the fact that memorizing the Minister's biography was not at the top in her priorities.

"I'm still awake Professor," Sabrina said. She was awake, her mind was just elsewhere other than fully on the task. She was writing the information down though. The minister's life wasn't the best thing to be writing about when most of the students hated him for splitting the school up. "Is there anything else to learn?" she asked, stifling a small yawn, as she finisihed copying what was on the board.

Tommy looked up from her parchment blinking a few times to stay awake she would rather learn about the different uses of dung then be subjected to the Tales of Turd Brain Copper and his Dafty tailed wife.

Makenzie continued to take notes. Only if she could escape, but Ravenclaws were supposed to set a good example. She could not wait for class to get out!!

....favorite memory....broomstick... Punz jotted the last sentence down and then placed her quill on top of her parchment, resting her chin in her hand.

She was about to doze off, blinking rapidly to stay awake, when she noticed the Professor looking out the door. "Are wee ttt--" she yawned and straightened up a little. "Are we taking a field trip, Professor?" Punz asked hopefully. Maybe they could go to the Ministry....to wreck havoc study the Minister in his natural setting, of course.....

Ellie almost yawned, oh Merlin, that was boring.
It seemed that she was wrong when she thought that history of magic could be fun.
"We are all awake." she said with a nod and then added. "At least until now."
Yes, because she was going to fall asleep any second.. but then she noticed Professor Lainey looking out the door. "Are we going somewhere professor? " The brunette girl asked with curiosity.

Alexis was slowly dozing off. This was so boring, that it was unnatural. "Sure professor." She mumbled, her eyes closed. It wasn't her fault the minister had nothing better to do than to torture them.

Astrid was making sure to write everything down but couldn't help feeling a little apprehensive about the way the professor seemed so nervous. Not to mention down right unhappy about this lesson. This was a first for her.

Amanda continued to copy the information down although she though that this was incredibly boring and was ready to fall asleep soon.

Anna shot a glance over at Issy and listened to the girl's timid questions. She'd asked just the sort of questions that were going through Anna's mind at the moment. She looked back up to the professor to see any sign that she would answer, but then noticed Professor Lainey had poked her head out of the classroom's door, looking for Merlin knows what coming down the hallway.

Perhaps the minister was coming to visit....

Anna wondered if it was possible to sink deeper into the rug and disappear. Her mind drifted to Quiddich tryouts that she'd have to head to as soon as class is over.

Steelsheen was writing things down on her parchment when she observed the Professor do the oddest thing, "Is she scoping someone out? Are we about to do something... anti Ministry?" she whispered to her friends.

"I'm not sure" she says concerened for the Professor. first the dark clothes, then the cloak and dagger behavior.

"We're going somewhere?" Serena definitely had not been paying attention to what was going on. Instead, her parchment had dragons all over it, eating up mini stick figures of certain people who worked at the Ministry. It wasn't hard to guess who the people respresented.

"I don't know," Lola's voice was tinted with hesitancy. This whole affair had put her in an immensely mordbid mood, only wishing for her black Barcelona lace shawl to adorn her plain uniform. Her eyes glowed edgily as she scrawled the facts in her messiest, quickest script, riddling them with ink blotts and completely demeaning them before her immaculate former notes.

"But it might just go into my memoirs," she mumbled.

Ari shook her head, "I'm wake I think." she yawned, realizing where she was. She looked over to Issy and the other girls and blinked, silently asking what in the world was going on. She missed the crazy classes. "Oh please tell me the Minister isn't coming?" she groaned aloud as she saw Lainey poke her head out of the door. If that were the case Ari would get up and leave, point loss or not.

Nodding eagerly, Issy turned to Ari for salvation.

"I was just wondering the same thing," she admitted. "Can you imagine... if he came here? But, do you think he would actually come here? Rather... are we important enough for such a busy, important man as the Minister Cooper?"

Sarcasm was evident as it dripped from her words and she scowled, wrinkling her nose.
